Uh I'm a bit late to this thread but adding my 2 cents before the lock 🙄 I don't find it offensive or anything but its relevance to sl is questionable. It's like having political messages in a fashion blog. Offensive? No. Relevant? Kinda no. Out of place? Kinda yes. Their audience is there for fashion stuff. Just like we go to the sl blogs for sl stuff. Sure, many have obviously benefited from the reminder. Still doesn't change the fact that it isn't exactly sl related. Unless sl is looking into diversifying into the news department.

If the sellers aren't around anymore but are still making mp sales, 10% still goes to LL so there's that. For me, since I've been in sl for less than 2 yrs, a lot of the old stuff are actually new to me so I'm really happy when I can still find them available even if the sellers themselves have gone MIA. I know some close up shop completely when they leave sl which is such a shame.

Oh yeah BOM stuff, that makes sense. A shoe store did a repricing of their products and chose to increase their prices on old stuff as well. They probably wanted to have the same price tag on everything - their choice of course - but to see a price increase (instead of decrease) on old releases just seems weird to me.

Real funny. Although for getting started in sl, I wouldn't have thought getting land would be part of it for beginners. An unusual starting point IMO.

I suspect some of those sellers aren't around in sl anymore to reduce prices. Would be great to see price reductions but editing mp listings can be a pain. I've actually seen some stores hike up prices on their old stuff which is... interesting.

I had a similar or same error yesterday and I think my error message told me to submit a support ticket so you could try that. Wish I could be more helpful but I wasn't paying too much attention to it at the time.

If they were after an adult rated job, they'd post in the adult section of the forum. Maybe you should look there too if you're trying to scout people for strip clubs.

If people are asking for lindens, at least offer something in return. Expecting a one way transaction just seems so entitled.

The demos for legacy and legacy perky are both 1L at the WIP event but not sure about their mainstore. Thanks for the mp tip, I'll just get it there then. There were 2 versions of the Stay at Home gift. The one that came with the dev kit was 1L. Not too fussed about freebies or dollarbies tbh, just demos.

Thanks I'll give that a try. And yep you're right, that TMP freebie didn't refund the 1L.

Yeh it is but I just don't like creators who do that. They must get thousands of people wanting to demo, it's as if they're trying to make money from it. What other good reason would they have? Customers are the ones taking the risk when buying, why charge them for it? 😑

Can anyone tell me if the 1L is refunded back to you when you get the Legacy body demos? It's only 1L but I refuse to pay for demos on principle.

@LondonClaire It's actually helpful to point posters to the right sections of the forum. If they're advertising jobs that are adult rated, the Adult section is more appropriate. There is a difference between correcting someone and bashing them.

Creators who have certain restrictions on double purchase refunds. There's one where the creator will only refund your double purchase if they were made within minutes of each other, which is dumb because that is rarely how double purchases happen. It's usually when you've forgotten you bought the same thing a long time ago. Another is when they'll only refund you if you contact them within 24 hours or something. Like why? Sometimes you don't realize it until much later. It's as if they don't want to help their customers and they're happy you paid twice for the same thing.

She looks around 15 but not abused. Not that I can see. SL is open to 16 and up so I don't see the real problem.

If it came to an rl tattoo I'd invest the time to research thoroughly but honestly, for sl... I wouldn't care if I wore a tattoo that said ham and cheese in a foreign language. I don't take sl too seriously. I'm not going to bend over backwards to make sure my sl is all perfect.

I wish for that too. I'm sure we're not the only ones who regret our usernames lol!
