I have to say that I do wish they wouldn't put handles on doors that are supposed to be pushed. I don't do this (or almost any of the other things on that list), but it does seem to be a design flaw that invites the wrong action.

It's also because I know a few good jokes that feature God, and when I tell them in writing, I always capitalise His pronouns. I just think that makes it funnier.

A peeve from me, which may not be a thing any more...I never liked Doms who capitalised their own pronouns. It might be a bit hypocritical, since I tend to capitalise the word as I've just done, but whenever I saw someone refer to themselves as Me, Mine and Myself, for some reason it broke the immersion and made me want to tell them that they were not in fact God. Religious upbringing might be to blame for this.

In the UK, most people who receive benefits work (or at least did before the pandemic took hold; these are not normal times). You will of course always be able to find a workshy leech if it suits your agenda to find one, but you'll have to look harder than the Daily Mail would have you believe. They are very much the minority, and it is intellectually dishonest to suggest that they are not. It's also interesting to note how many of these supposed leeches actually have young children and wouldn't earn enough to cover the cost of childcare if they returned to their old jobs.

Yeah, Vanilla was the only one I knew that had a connection. Banana, I suppose you could, but you'd need to use it in a very cheesy, hen party, naughty postcard way to make it work. Didn't know Salty or Jazzhands had any connotations at all either.

I'm not a football fan or a Scouser, and I was too small at the time to know about it, but I get tearful whenever I think of that tragedy. Just the idea of people going out to enjoy a game and support their team in a community spirit, and that happened. And of course the beyond disgraceful, downright illegal "reporting" that followed it.

Is it not annoying? I understand that you still see a box for their comments, just now with a big sign saying "THERE IS STUFF HERE YOU CAN'T SEE" or words to that effect. I'd rather just ignore someone. It's difficult sometimes to resist the bait but I don't think a big sign saying, "BAIT HERE VISIBLE TO EVERYONE BUT YOU" would be much easier. Plus I understand you still see what they say when someone quotes them. I think the only time I'd block would be if they were bothering me directly with IMs, but that's never happened.
