  1. /scours the map looking for a region named Soon.
  2. 12+ here as well. The closest I have ever come to a community like this was a builders community I lived in about a year after I started. But even that doesn't come close. It was a much smaller scale, and while everyone had impeccably decorated homes (with an area rug in each room ) the tight knit community happened at 200m (or 500 i can't remember now) up in the air where you could almost walk from work plat to work plat.
  3. Yep! It was actually a lot of fun yesterday hanging out with many in the community while we were watching. Also got to meet/talk to quite a few Moles and Lindens. It was nice finally "putting a face to a voice" so to speak. Also entertaining watching Derrick Linden dancing on top of the Squishy Pickle Bar.
  4. You're actually not that far from where I am LOL I think I am down in the water to your right.
  5. Found this on my phone. Felt it was fitting for today and for the current subject matter:
  6. I..... I forgot what we were talking about.
  7. And I am a combination of you both lol. I have been at clubs before but had the stream muted listening to my own stuff while chatting and/or doing other stuff in RL. I've also had my avatar at her home dancing to my choice of music or listening to a friend's stream from my parcel while building. So for me, ads would be worse. Sometimes its leas lag for me to have the stream not running through SL so I am used to having it open outside of SL.
  8. The SL Funko Pop Limited Edition Collectables.
  9. And even many years after they came out there were still certain styles for Tahoe and Meadowbrook that one had to sometimes play refresh roulette to get. That is one thing I do like a lot about the new homes, the fact that all styles for each theme are available on the lots in their respective areas.
  10. Hahahha I did this last night. I had unlocked my insert to change the accent wall and forgot to re-lock it. Fast forward to me re-texturing a chair and what I thought was me unclicking the bottom prim of the chair was actually me clicking in part of the insert. Suddenly 2/3 of my room plus the chair was a "grandma's Florida retirement home" paisley. Was not the look I was going for.
  11. Very similar to what I used to do by making wall to wall carpet for a room (aka a footprint). I would just temp link w/ shift clicking and then when I put it down, I would just pull the carpet/footprint. For me, it was easier having the shape of a room. Another, and this is something I still do today: I had the habit of picking up entire rooms because I was building something on my workflat and wanted the prims. Again, just temp using Edit Mode and Shift+clicking items. I would save whatever was central to the layout for last (like an area rug, coffee table, a vase, etc... something that was around the center of the layout I was yanking up) Shift click along and when I add in the last item, I would then right click and pick it all up. Later, have Edit Mode going and pull the cube pile (how the icon looks in inventory) and put it right back. When I was moving out of my old linden home to abandon it to get one of the new ones, it was.... not as neat. I picked up my dogs and their food dish, then I just Shift Click dragged to grab a lump fast and hit return for the rest lol I still have to sort that mess out, too.
  12. Who is up for a watch party?
  13. This was the worst I've done. Had something suddenly come up in RL while I was trying to decide what to do with that side of the yard and had to pause what I was doing. Didn't want the neighborhood to think I was a fence collector.
  14. The coffee room is my favorite room I would love to do that to what is our RL dining room. Just feels so tranquil with the morning light coming in. In the living room, I originally made a low wall only by the front door. The wall behind the sectional (with the black & white picture on it) was an accent wall that I made when I made inserts for the coffee room and yoga/chill room (still no clue what to call it.. front room, I guess?) so that I could change their walls and floors. But the accent wall in the LR looked strange when I moved the focal point away from that wall. (Original look) With the low wall also now behind the sectional, I might shuffle some things around to get a few more prims back and make the area between the front and coffee rooms and the living room into something. I think I have a windowseat somewhere I could put in there.
  15. Thank you the front of the house and telescope are showing what my everyday normal setting are. The others I would set the shot up, switch settings and suddenly plummet to 1 - 2 fps. Can't wait to build my tower and be done with this laptop lol Thank you the walk lights are actually the same string lights hanging in the breakfast room. I had them hanging on the pergola and wanted to try something different. Creative linking brought the Li for the path lights to 4 Li total.
  16. Took a bit to get the pics as I was playing with the settings and really lagging myself out LOL Here's how my Alderley looks currently Backyard: Breakfast Room: Daily Yoga (not sure what to call this room) : Living Room: Front of the house: Watching the land across the street for mole activity:
  17. I am expecting at least one "you will be hearing from my lawyer" to come from the next wave.
  18. @Blush Bravin No help here as well. I am already planning what I am going to do to the next house as soon as my neighbor changes from the one I want to their next project LOL
