  1. Well shoot I was hoping it was just a phantom so you could poof it.
  2. Some that are playing the refresh game on the housing page might very well be rewarded for their perseverance. I was kinda bummed when exploring and seeing so many "prime locations" that are just sitting empty by those that jumped on the bandwagon but had zero desire to do anything with the lot they got. Even when I had an old linden home and was living on a private island, I still decorated a bit so that it wasn't an empty eyesore for my neighbors.
  3. Either applier panties, or alpha'd out, most days here lol I joked once w/ a friend that I would love to make a line of panties with comments on them like, "Take a picture, it lasts longer!", "Like what you see, perv?", "I cammed you faster!" or simply a hand flipping the bird. Specifically for the club cammers that focus on your booty and you know they're trying to angle their cameras up your skirt. While I still prefer proactive privacy when it is called for/my choice (due to stuff in the past), something in me broke after I turned 40 irl LOL I can be the sweetest, most caring person in the world, but those that tick me off? Suddenly I just do not care at all about "play nice with others!" haha
  4. Try right clicking the boat to see who the creator is? I saw a couple vehicles the other night like this. Each instance, when I R clicked to see who the owner was, the item poofed at that moment. Could be a laggy/glitchy sim?
  5. Same. It fit the theme nicely. If LL does remove it for being outside of the owner's property, then I hope they put a mole made version there.
  6. Me in 2006 when receiving an unsolicited lewd IM regarding my avatar and what was accidentally seen: freezes like a deer in headlights Me in 2019 when receiving an unsolicited lewd IM regarding my avatar and what was accidentally seen: Either ignores them totally or sends them a snarky response involving a LM to where they can buy that same body and drool over themselves
  7. Interesting reads! Thank you for posting them. As I was reading, my thoughts would drift between here in SL and in a certain popular MMORPG that is definitely "low density" for those starting out in it.
  8. When I was out and about yesterday, I saw a cute little deck w/ some chairs along a river (do not remember which sim I was in atm) I was going to get a LM for the LM thread and then I realized it was not Mole/Linden built, it was private built. The owner's land was across the sidewalk from the deck. Not sure if they will be able to keep it, but it fit with the theme nicely.
  9. Sums up my SL life! My decorating is like the weather... Wait 5 minutes, it'll change.
  10. that bike was one of the best FLF"s I've grabbed! instant fave Here is me biking around a bit before starting to cook Easter dinner
  11. I'm older than you and I have pulled some pretty newbie moves LOL I was gone for quite a few years some time back and when I returned I was frozen still because I forgot how to move! Yet when I tried to build something in a sandbox (was showing my husband how I could build a RL design we made in SL) without even thinking I was able to pull out a prim, copy it, sit on the copy so that I didn't move around and proceed to build said item in about 15 minutes. Good ol muscle memory there, I guess.
  12. I might have an idea how that happened! Yesterday as I was redecorating, sometimes when I would have my camera focused close to the floor where I wanted to put something, I would drag the item out of inventory and.... nothing happened. Thinking it was lag, I'd try again. Eventually, When I adjusted my camera, I saw items floating in other rooms or through the ceiling LMAO Now I am going to check the "attic" space carefully to see if anything hiding in the roof.
  13. I tried fishing from some of the areas in the community and would love little streams and cabins! ATM, this is me fishing LOL
  14. @Blush Bravin thank you, btw, for the pergola. I think you designed it for the Winchester, but I was able to easily mod it for the Adams front and back doors
  15. Decorated for Easter and even put out some Lemonade and Hot Chocolate for anyone exploring Corinth
  16. As someone that does deal with winter in RL, I wouldn't mind a section where they offered seasonal changes to the sim. I would love to decorate for Autumn and Winter. While I dislike dealing with snow in the RL, the snow in SL you don't have to shovel. And with the way people drive through sim crossings, they can pretend its black ice.
  17. I went on a ride the other night (first tried a golf cart and almost ran someone over crossing a sim line) and so many gorgeous homes! Realized I need to up my decorating game. I don't want anyone to see my home atm LOL hopefully I will be able to get to it either tonight or after Easter.
  18. Anyone who gets a house like this needs to submit a ticket to LL about it. I am on my phone atm so can't link the thread but there is a post from someone that had this issue.
  19. Landmark Thread (now that I am on my computer and not my phone! lol)
  20. Go into the landmark thread. There are some in there that can take you to the new continent if no one sends you a taxi
  21. It's been a while since I have used orbs, as I got lazy with the old linden homes being the same shape as your land you controlled and I have only recently owned one again. I can only speak for myself, but here is why I have used TP home in the past: Idiots. Griefers/Copybot era. Determined stalkers. Pretty much anyone that decided it would be fun or productive to harass a security orb knowing that it spams its owner with them pretty much spam bouncing off of it. (If I say "you" it's not directed at who I have quoted, but a general "you/anyone" ) In the past, when I have been building and someone is bouncing off of my orb, spamming me, I will switch it to TP them home and (hopefully) farther away than just outside the radius so that it makes their little game harder. No, I don't want to pause at that moment and add them to a ban list or message the estate owner to put them on the list. I was actually being nice by not locking my land down with ban lines (this was when I had an island in a community) and only set my orb around my work area and around my house, allowing neighbors to use my water. You actually had to either step all the way on land to even get to my house in the center or fly up to where my work plat was. I've also done it when I have gone offline if there was already a precedence (like my stalker or when copybotters were rampant). Again, I was trying to be nice and use an orb, but if someone thinks its entertaining to see how many times they can get ejected just to step forward and get flung repeatedly, I am going to make their game harder by punting them home. I can understand once, maybe twice (i've tried driving in lag, its not fun) bouncing off someone's orb because of lag or learning. Although, in the traditional HOA neighborhoods, there is enough space between the road and the lawn that if you're bouncing off of the same orb, get off of the sidewalk! From what I understand, the houseboat areas do not have that large of a buffer between private and Linden land. So speaking only about the traditional area, after the third+ time, you're lost or lagging or annoying the orb's owner purposely* and a TP home might be more beneficial in that case. (*even if they are offline, that spam is either hitting their email or waiting to pounce when they log in) Unfortunately, as far as I know, orbs can't separate between repeat offenders with less than polite intentions and someone frustratingly trying to learn to drive in lag. I wish they could. I do feel for those innocently caught in the crossfire between a land owner/renter and some annoying dunce. I have been suddenly TP'd home myself, but instead of being annoyed at the orb owner, I remember the reasons I have switched from Eject, to TP, to just full out locking my land down with banlines.
  22. I must ask, what does she feed her dog to get agility of that caliber?
  23. Community areas for gathering/events Like someone above said, an option with a more open floorplan Maybe a "seasons" community? Where the ground and trees change with the seasons? I would love to see Autumn and Winter and decorate within those themes.
  24. LOL I will check it out A neighborhood gathering for coffee sounds delightful! I was already checking out your sighthound out front (I am the neighbor up the hill with the 3 greyhounds in her backyard )
