The community has been so wonderful. I hope it continues. I haven't been to the Parade of Homes as RL decided to step in and remind me that it exists lol

The old linden homes are NOT like the ones over on Bellisseria (omg I typed that correctly the first try!). If you see Traditional or House Boat show up, and want one now, grab it fast because it meant someone abandoned it and they will go fast. If you see: Meadowbrook, Tahoe, Elderglen, or Sahreta Osumai - those are the First Generation/older ones that came out in 2010.

Which for me translates to, "As soon as I am 'done' decorating one, I rip it all up and pick another house to work with!"

You have mad skills! I'm making bets with my husband how many will A) miss the next wave and be back to complain, and B) complain about the access lists/security change (the sticky at the top of that forum).

If they were aware, they could have had their other land sold/older linden home abandoned and been ready. You claim the home from the dashboard. Something a smartphone can log into. In fact, I didn't! I didn't know about the new homes coming. I didn't know the day/time. So I still had my older linden home. I just happened to sit down and open Reddit while eating lunch 3 hours after they supposedly went live (I am going by the time stamp that was on the Reddit post when I saw it). In less than 5 minutes I was in SL, picked up my stuff, abandoned that home, tabbed over to my dashboard and claimed a Traditional. Before I even finished lunch. If I had known that that was the day, I would have had the other home already abandoned and would have claimed my new one while I was in line at the pharmacy picking up scripts. Should they have had more houseboats? Yes. I don't think even they knew those would go in the first 2 hours. Above all, Linden Labs is a business. This was a marketing tool. It created hype. It got a ton of free word of mouth advertising and a lot of attention.

Some have I have a Books & Coffee shop behind me and somewhere else, someone made a cafe. There are a few others as well. AFAIK, nothing is for sale, so it's all legal.

That gave me an idea (I may need more coffee, so bear with me). What if they made a Premium that one could tailor to suit their needs? Some would like more prims/a larger lot and not have to add tier on. They don't care about the stipend because either they have enough cash flow in SL itself or just buy the L's that they want anyways. Some would rather have X amount of free uploads a month and not have to worry about it dipping into their L balance. Some are happy renting and getting up and moving whenever they feel and will never have a desire for mainland ownership or a Premium Linden Home. Or they have a private region (I can't remember if you don't have to be premium for this one). Either way, the 1024/Prem Home is of no concern to them. @KanryDrago said that they don't need the extra groups or the extra support that Premium gets. What if they made a Premium where (for the sake of simplicity here) for your $72usd/yr you can select from a list of perks the ones that you want. Let's say, you can pic 3 (which can be changed once a month (I would say 2x a year, but that would make monthly... interesting). So you can pic 3 from the list. You can pick the same of certain perks all 3 times if you want, and each time, it gets larger by half of what 1 perk is. So if you select Land once, you get 1024. Select it again, add 512. A third time gets another 512. If you pick stipend, you get 500/400/300 (whatever you get now based on avatar rezdate). Pick it again, and you get 250/200/150. A third time gets you another 250/200/150. Groups? First pick you go from 42 to 60. Second pick you get 9 more, third pick you get another 9. So selecting groups for all 3 nets you 78 groups. If you pick all 3, you get basically what you have currently for Premium. If you do 2 land + 1 stipend, then your groups stay at the basic 42. Just an idea, and now my coffee mug is empty.

As much as I would love to have Zoya's wardrobe for its USD cost, and the ability to have it all in an inventory and not a closet (can you imagine the closets we would need?) I'll take RL where I don't have to worry about prim count/Li

This would not work unless they stopped allowing anyone else to become premium or made a ton more than what their records show for premium accounts. That could have lead to dead zones and ghost towns. Supposedly many signed up for premium just because of the new homes. So then what? Do they go by rezday? How long they've been premium? I think what they are doing (releasing in waves) is the better option for now. They can gauge demand as they go and as selling out slows down, so can they. ETA~ one thing that they could do, since the playerbase is global, is maybe stagger the releases. (for example: They release the next batch at 8am SL time. Then +4 hours another batch is released. +4 hours after that, another batch becomes available. Etc... So that over a 24hr period, the next batch is released giving those on the other side of the globe a chance as well. Can pay all the attention you can, but most need to still work and everyone needs to sleep.)

I agree with @Chic Aeon. No, we do not need a waiting list. We have one, it's called being premium. Frankly, the first wave of homes should have gone to the ones the most active/paying the closest attention. Because the majority are active in the community there. It feels alive! Yeah, there are some who just grabbed the new shiny toy just because and has zero plans to ever do anything, but they are outnumbered by the ones actually living and interacting in Belliserria.

Can also Right Click > More > Eject the avatar that stepped out of their vehicle on your land. Then target to return the object. They step back on, ban them for a bit because they didn't get the hint w/ the Eject. But that is me, personally. I will go for the avatar before I go for their object, unless it is a malicious object.

That actually could work. Have the sky box parcels be the ocean zones. Ground sunk so its only water below, no building below 2km. The water below would be public waterways.

Wow we totally missed each other out there! I had to head back to my house because I messed up my setting trying to get a good "launch out of the water and dive back in" picture that I was lagging badly.

Over there checking things out! I don't think Ice Fishing worked out so well for Constantine Linden... Back to exploring!

Love your Grotto! A little too shallow to really get moving around as a mermaid (I am also really rusty at it lol) but love what you're creating under there I think Sharky was scared of me

That's what I thought but couldn't remember. I have no the the 7seas and the other system (that I can't remember the name of atm). Sometimes will even fish with the invisible pole (I have the system for 7seas) when Zoya is sitting on her porch lol And while anceint, still somewhat popular as u see them doing contests all day long

I am definitely planning to come check it out once i am done with some rl stuff and can sit back down. Looks so adorable!

You and me both I just had one happen early this morning that was so close to how my ex would act when he found me that I would bet money it was him and he found me again. He wasn't your typical stalker. He was a RL ex that would use SL and other online platforms to stalk and harass me and if he had any proof I was online, that was when my phones would start chain ringing until I unplugged the landline and turn off my cell. Every. Single. Time. Ban & Block that one and he would create a new alt (anyone remember how friends lists USED to work back then) and have a different phone to call me from. Every day. Every week. Until I deleted Zoya. She was dead in the void while I made a whole new me on a different character. With Linden help (and my husband's support) I brought Zoya back from the void a few years ago. Finally not afraid of him finding me. Those that have never had a long term, army of alts, stalker will never understand and really come off condescending and rude sometimes. (not the person you quoted, the one above them)

If I can't get anything in an hour or so I will file a ticket. It could just be server overload atm.

My problem was that my mailbox wasn't giving me anything at all. Not a big deal tho. I will just adjust my hummingbird to the allowed specifics and put it back out. And then test it with my poor alt again lol she is probably tired of getting flung around by ejects.
