Well shoot. I was actually starting to relax and not even worry about an orb.....that is, until I just had to report, block and ban some moron. Put me right back at square one of being a hermit. What that slug did was way too close to what my ex (aka the stalker) used to do.

My mailbox isn't delivering anything atm, and what I am hearing is that the security orb is 5Li. Are we able to pull the script and put it into another object of our choosing?

I modified the garden shed that I made for the Adams House to fit the Alderley: And tomorrow I will work more on the yard and putting my garden back. Can't quite decide how I want to do the fence & garden beds right now: Thanks for looking! I'm not a great photographer, and usually prefer sunset settings, so hopefully these weren't too painful to look at.

Today's project has been the Alderley house (I had Adams and decided I wanted to try the other 1 story home) It is still a work in progress as I was challenging myself to figure out mesh to lower Li Living room w/ an accent wall: First room after coming in the front door: I don't have a kitchen, so I guess Coffee Room?

My first thought, and reason I initially wanted a houseboat, was to make an underwater mermaid grotto. Unfortunately from what I have heard from some in SL its not deep enough for that idea.

@Whimsy Winx your mention of a boardwalk gave me an idea. What about the boardwalk/carnival with rides and games like skeeball, etc?

I had contemplated giving my alt premium and trying with her for a better location and would dump Zoya's then. Then remembered the headache it is for me having one own a house and the other decorating. Ended up just giving Zoya $$ to go shopping with.

When I first saw the announcement, I really wanted a houseboat. Took the first traditional offered me. First reaction to it? "OMG! The yard is mine, too?!" Now, a week later, I don't have the desire for a houseboat any longer. Will I reroll? Eventually. Not for a houseboat, tho, but maybe for a more ideal (to me) location. I would love to get one of the houses along water, or next to a wooded area. But for right now, I am happy with my corner lot. I am also across the street from an empty area that will eventually have houses on it. What goes there will also play heavily into whether I reroll or not. If it isn't more trads, but a jarring change between trads and whatever new style they come out with next, I most likely will reroll then. If there are parks or a river or something like that? I will stay if I like them.

To me, brought back memories of when my parents were building their house many years ago and we were camping on the land in a motor home (camper) that spring and summer while the house was being built. By far my favorite of the different ways people chose to deal with the mailbox glitch. If it happens to me I feel I am going to do similar even tho I have houses in my inventory lol for the nostalgia

@Barbie Glas sounds like fun! I sometimes stay online but afk during the day so if I don't respond right away that's why.

I think that was also where I picked up a helicopter. Luckily for me I live across the street from a big open grassy "Linden Homes Coming Soon!" sim because I looked like Wile E Coyote when I took off with it!

Ahh okay. Up until last Wednesday, I haven't used orbs in a looooooong time. I was either on a private island or got lazy in my old linden home and just used the ban lines because your land was the same footprint as the house. But even then, I was able to reason that anything past my parcel wasn't a great idea.

Where did you find this?

Those people could be on their lists for reasons other than just flying too low to the ground. Could be repeatedly rude/obnoxious "neighbors" in the community or just people TP'ing in just to see what trouble they could cause when the access lists were changed last week. I think most people ignore a flyby the first time. For the longest time, anytime I moved somewhere new, within an hour of being there, my ban list had 10 names on it: My stalker's main and known + possible alts of his that were used to spy on and harass me. Even when I left Zoya here for dead in the void and was on an alt he did not know about, those names still hit my list. So to people like you exploring and being nosy checking their lists, I probably looked extremely ban happy, when in reality, all 10 of those names belonged to one person. Wow, I didn't even know that orbs could monitor outside of your owned parcel. Then again, when I got one (ended up using less than 24 hours) I tested it repeatedly with my alt from different directions and with different settings to make sure it was only dealing with my land & gave "new drivers" time to move before just ejecting. So far everyone I have seen has been polite. Did have one person that stopped on the sidewalk in front of my house while I was up on a work platform yesterday. After a few minutes of them there, I TP'd back to ground level and then to the sidewalk next to the back of my house and watched them for a bit (because of what I previously mentioned, I can be wary) and checked their profile. Seeing no sign of my ex/stalker, I went back to what I was doing.

So after trial and error trying to improve the garden shed (and still somewhat messed up, so will redo it when I learn more) I also designed SL raised garden beds after my own RL ones that my husband and I made (yes, that's my handwriting and artwork lol) (and some of the gardening stuffs inside the shed)

I never got an email either. I just was lucky that I happened to open Reddit for something to read while eating lunch and saw a post there, a few hours after they went live. By then the house boats were gone but I was able to snag a traditional.

Ack! For a sea view I would have asked if they could restrict sound to their parcel, and if they didn't I would have tracked that down and ignored it or adjusted my sounds until they tired of it. I would love a sea view! I had to ignore some idiot's screech box that broadcast anything they said to the whole sim. Either they had just come from hosting or loved the sound of their voice a lot. Was weird either way because they were having a conversation and the sim was only getting their side of it. Lol before I blocked it I did entertain myself by Mad Libbing the other part that I couldn't hear/see.

Oh I loved it! Had a whole Secret Garden thing going on. I didn't like how much of a Land Impact the hedges had when I bordered my yard. It added up quick. I picked it all up as one chunk so if I ever change my mind I can just drop it all right back down. Which could be tomorrow with how I constantly change things lol

THANK YOU for the reminder!! I totally forgot about the meshing thingamajig that I had in my inventory. Yesterday I decided to finally sit down and figure out how to use it correctly after I saw you mentioning one. I made a little side garden/tool shed for the Adams House. It sucks atm, because I tested with a build I was already trying to be prim lite on, and I hate the windows in it. I mean I really hate those windows, lol And the door is... yeah, no pictures of that door. But now that I figured out how to mesh it out, I know what I am doing later this morning This was just a test to see if I could do it. I took a 27 prim build and turned it into a mesh with a Li of 2! This was the first post I saw this morning when I woke up. Being a corner lot, I freaked thinking "OMG is that what people see with my hedges?!?!?" (I had a hedge wall using the ones provided, but yesterday decided to put up a fence that didn't have such an impact. I now have... for the time being... the picket fence seen above.) This was the back gate with the Mole Hedges that I had over Easter:

I used to have a "send a notecard" message in my profile, especially when I was a business owner. I don't always see IM's. They don't always go to my email. No, I am not super popular. It's not like I am getting hundreds of messages. But I would feel bad for that one person that I could have helped. Nowadays, where I am more a consumer than a creator, I do have a couple autoresponses: (General) "If I don't respond, it probably means I am tabbed out or AFK. Please give me a few minutes or drop a notecard" (Unavailable/Busy) "Building, so most likely my windows are minimized. Leave a message after the beep, use an alternative way to message me (ie: Facebook, email, etc...) or come find me!" If I am building something, or organizing my black hole of an inventory, I usually minimize everything, including chat and get so focused on what I am doing that I am just oblivious. I am terrible about getting up afk and walking off to go do something iRL. Or I tab out and forget that I was even logged in to SL. I see the "Please give me a few minutes or drop a notecard" as the SL version of iRL someone getting my voicemail and hearing "please leave a message or text me."

I love my little idyllic home. Right now, iRL where I am, spring is slow to start. I love a yard (that I don't have to mow... EVER) and trees (that I will never have to rake the leaves up for) and the community thus far here in Suburbia. iRL I live in a small, sleepy community. I just haven't been able to R click and "Return to Owner" or Mute/Ignore Object the annoying little yapper dog that lives next door.
