Yes, I would like some type of forest-y type cabins or homes, up in the mountain areas, but maybe not A-frames this time.

The 709 new houseboats that were released this morning were available for like 27 minutes. Anything found now will just be luck with refreshing the web page to see if your timing is right to pick up one someone might have just abandoned. If you abandon your house in order to try that, you could be out altogether. There are people still refreshing that are interested in picking up a house.

That home behind you was my favorite Tahoe version. I had built a set of interior walls for it, to divide it up into several rooms. It is true that the landscaping on Bellisseria is leaps and bounds better than the landscaping on the old LH continents.

I agree a disclaimer about availability might have been wise.

I used to walk around the Linden home continents. There was a lot of park land, especially in the sections in-between the different themed areas. There were little gathering spots here and there. I didn't usually see anyone else though when I was out exploring. There were a couple of styles there that I liked and always felt I was able to decorate well and have it be homey.

I'm aware of that fully. I wasn't being serious - it was just another "option" that no one had mentioned yet, so I thought I'd throw it out. I don't think there was a better way than what they did, and I think given the issues the technical hiccups the first week, and some of the social issues that arose as well, that releasing 50k houses on a continent all at once would not have worked out well.

Another thing they could have done - limit these first releases to just brand new accounts, and have existing accounts wait until there were enough regions created for all remaining existing premium accounts. The group that I think was most short-changed from the existing process were the brand new accounts who go premium right away so that they can have a Linden Home while they're learning about how everything works in SL. ETA: And I fully realize newcomers going premium can still get an older Linden Home, but so can existing premium members.

Bellisseria is the new area.

Perhaps they will be ready earlier. I'm thinking probably around 10:30 SLT, as that is when I will be gone at an appointment for around an hour.

I would imagine that people with those types of tip jars would say publicly that the point was to express gratitude, but privately would be hoping that it shames people into tipping more. I tend to go to just a very small group of clubs. I should spend a week or two trying out different clubs each day to get a better sense of what is out there. For me the biggest issue is whether I like the music or not - more than the visual, I think.

Theoretically, yes. However I have a feeling some people will keep their house and use an alt to try for a houseboat, and then presumably abandon the house afterwards. So I'm still going to go for which ever one comes up first.

I've had the old linden homes before, and the new ones are a lot more friendly for the sharing with someone else.

The official release of all the brand new ones has not happened yet.

To be fair, Patch didn't mention an exact time they would be released - just a time that it would not happen before. A little later in that group conversation, he also said that even noon time would be within the 24 hour period of his official announcement here on the forum.

I would be satisfied with a simple thank you. What I really don't like are the tip jars with the floating text that not only show who the last person was to tip, but also show the amount of that person's tip.

Yes, you can have a mesh body without having a mesh head. You need to look for a skin that comes with both (a) a system skin, and (b) an applier for the type of mesh body you have.

Switched to the Logo Mae head that was on sale at Uber. Even though I don't wear make up very often, it does have a few more make up options in the HUD, and I liked the animations a little more than with the head I had been wearing.

I would prefer to get a house, and I know that there are some people who currently have houses and may give them up after getting a houseboat; however, if a houseboat comes up first, I'm going to take it and not take the gamble on getting an abandoned house after all the houseboats are gone.
