i had so many ideas....but oh nooooooooooooooo I wanna live in Beth's N'awlins swamp of pleasure. If someone is not currently making a giant flag with an eggplant on it....they are totally doing it wrong.

My point was this. People act like they are somehow prisoners in some weird premium nightmare. They whine and whinge and wail and scream and fight and are horribly rude to the Lindens and moles and each other. So much so that people are closing chats and/or leaving in world groups because they are tired of being bombarded with negativity and derogatory commentary. There is no need for that. If you are unhappy...unsubscribe. I honestly doubt that very many people at all are going to do it. People love to complain but they rarely want to actually take any action to mitigate the situation. Like using a small portion of their monthly stipend to rent a skybox so they don't have to be "homeless" or finding a spot on the mainland and paying no tier or taking an older home until the newer ones are less scarce. I am not organizing a protest I think premium is great value and i have thought that for going on 7 yrs and dang near all of that was spent in an older LH. I'm saying if you are this enraged, that you find yourself verbally attacking LL who makes the product you are obviously so desperate for and alienating your potential neighbors...maybe it's time to put up or shut up...cancel your membership if you feel that strongly. There is nothing keeping you here but the need to continue ranting and that is not in short supply. exactly this. That was my point.

I am sorry you feel that all the other benefits to being a Premium member are not of any value to you. I don't agree but to each their own. Good news! Patch has very plainly said to anyone who feels this way that they can call support, downgrade their membership and get a refund. You should go immediately and do that if you feel this strongly. As should anyone who feels they have paid for something and not gotten the value to which they *thought* they were entitled. There is no need to be "homeless", though i really hate using that term because homelessness is an actual, very complex issue and this issue is simple. Vote with your wallet. I challenge you and everyone one else who is unsatisfied to put your money where your mouth, or keyboard is, and have the courage of your convictions. Down grade, get a refund, no more housing stress, no more casting aspersions on the forums. Simple.

if I am hearing you correctly....what you are proposing is that they spend a month with no releases, just building. Then the next month they do several large releases. Maybe they could stagger the releases to once a week or once every two weeks release and a larger volume each time. Is that what you mean in a nutshell? I'm of two minds on this. I think it would work and it could lessen some of the tension. BUT we tried waiting between releases before and everyone was pitching a fit to have them release more often. I would like to think that a larger release would satisfy more people at one time and people would stop or lessen the playing of the refresh game other than around the time of release. After today, I honestly don't know if anything will keep some of the people happy. It's an interesting idea and i'm all for interesting ideas after today.

@Elena Core Okay now everyone can laugh at me....I had my whole house sorted...everything furnished but i had very few LI left. I know that with autumn and more importantly HALLOWEEN coming up i would be doing a lot of decorating and to be truthful i wasn't that happy with my bedroom. So i picked it all up...stuck moving boxes in the "attic" and for now I'm pretending I'm still unpacking. Ill wait til inspiration strikes me or til after the end of year holidays to re-arrange everything. Who knows what will be happening on Belli by then. Besides it's summertime and that means all the time out by the pool or chilling on the front porch swing in between dancing to all the awesome sets from our resident DJs.

I think it gives more people chances. If it were one day a week then everyone who can never been off on Wednesday, or Monday or whatever would be upset because they will "never" get a chance at trying for a house.
