This just popped into my head. Releasing the homes/house boats in batches keeps us on the edge of our seats, keeps it a hot topic, something to dream and look forward to, keeps us making a community, etc. After I got an abandoned houseboat a week and a half ago, I actually missed being on the edge of my seat. I missed the excitement of "could this be my day?". I originally wanted a house but am loving the houseboat. I love exploring the continent and chatting up people that I come across. I love seeing the boats, hot air balloons, planes, bikes etc of people enjoying the continent. For the first time in my SL, I can exhale and say "I'm home". That feeling is what I've been seeking since I've joined.

You don't even have a house boat yet you're complaining. We that have one, love them, and there are a ton of people waiting for one. Don't get one then, who wants a negative Nelly for a neighbor anyways. Tosses happiness and sunshine at you, you need it.

I don't have to buy groceries, I'll just keep visiting the houses that are open to the public, am finding all kinds of goodies! I feel like I am on a show called. "Where in the world is Clarice now?" Thank you Blush for the coffee and fruit! Loved the decor too! On to the next victim.....errr friendly open houser. 😁

I did it last week but it was before the newest house boats release. I would say that there is not a specific time frame for it to happen, to become lucky. It just happens, it can be a minute, or days, or weeks. I was homeless for about a week before I got lucky getting a houseboat which was abandoned. There really aren't many tips besides just keep positive and keep refreshing the page. In the meantime, come visit the continent, if you have not already. If you join the group " Bellisseria Community" , in the notices section is a hud, you simply add it and then you can teleport around to people who have opened their homes to the public! I'm doing it right not as we speak. I have the notecard for the community areas, but is there a notecard/blog/website for people that welcome the public to view their homes? If not, I'd love to make a notecard with links of open houses.

I usually leave my security off in hopes that I come home to find a stranger in my house, but a man who loves conversation, exploring, dancing, being silly, learning new things, cuddling, games, photography...one can dream!

When I was in my teens and 20s, I thought that I knew everything. I also thought that anyone over 35 were clueless about things and just loved to warn/vent/lecture, etc. Now, am over 35 and realized that I was clueless back then. I now realize that my parents were right. I realize that their lectures and wisdom were trying to prepare me for the crazy world. But, I didn't want to hear that. You are not wise until you can acknowledge that. It's been happening in cycles for ages. Of course not all older people are full of wisdom, some never matured. But, many of us got beat up by the crazy world because we didn't take our parents'/elders advice. We know you young un's future. *Hands you a suit of armor and a starter box of adult diapers * because you're full of poop and it's going to come out when the world starts kicking your butts. Now, get off our lawns, house boat docks, waterways and whatever else within 20 feet of us!!! Disclaimer: this is meant to be funny. No old people or young uns were hurt while typing this post. From my many experiences in life, the biggest things that have stood out to me are: You can't expect others to see things how you do You can't force your morals and values on another person You need to pick your battles ------ So, if someone has 10 premium accounts and they want 10 houses, they are entitled to them. Period. No matter how we view that as right or wrong. The debate of the "morals" of it all will not change the LL premium agreement. It's up to them to police the Premium agreements. Life is too short to get all up in arms over something that does not affect our rl and none of our business of how many premium accounts that someone has.

If you do the annual fee of 72 USD per year, and subtract the below: 300L per week in stipends= 15,600L (approx $59.77 USD) leaves one with only spending a little over $1 USD per month but you also get the home, the priority access into events, etc etc A bargain!
