I own a business, work with Habitat For Humanity and also run a co-op for small business owners. My RL is very busy and SL is my escape from all the crap I have to deal with in RL.

I have to agree with Love on this, and I am NOT trolling. Anyone can say I have credentials in RL but how do you actually prove that you do? A picture? That can easily be manipulated into saying anything you want it to say. While the idea is a good one, I myself would not go nor would I recommend this to anyone I knew that needed therapy in SL. The risks are way too high. Sorry, but something like this doesn't need to be advertised because someone really in need could end up severely damaged because of misconduct. Just my two cents.

Another vote for a darker theme and I agree with Phil, a choice would be nice. Maybe be able to switch back and forth depending on your time of day or night.

My inventory right now is a little over 17,000. I try to purge at least once a month and it's about due for one. My aim is to get it to 10,000 but I seriously doubt that will happen. I am addicted to hair, shoes, clothes, jewelry....well you get the idea. LOL

I went premium a few months back mainly for the early access to events and the 60 group slots, which like Skell said still isn't enough! So for me it was worth going premium just for those two things. And like someone else said, it all depends on what you want and need.

Wow, I have worked in some of the top Jazz clubs as both a host and a manager and I was never required to pay anything to anyone nor was I asked to provide receipts for what I spent on my avie. In my opinion no one in their right mind would ever be willing to work for you so perhaps you should reconsider this. And, I have never had 30% of my tips taken, that is utterly idiotic. Your club will never open and if it does you will never find the people to work for you with those requirements. Good luck, you're gonna need it.

I have a few dances that animate the head so what I do is disable the animations in my head and the dances don't look half bad, but that's just me, each person has their own preferences.

Personally for me, I got rid of everything once I went all mesh but that's just me. I knew I'd never wear them again and I hate clutter in my inventory.

True. I just want her to get a feel for mesh before she invests any large amounts of RL money.

A friend of mine just joined Second Life and I know somewhere out there are free mesh bodies and heads, I also know there was a post about where to find freebies but for the life of me I can't remember what thread it was in. Can someone point me in the right direction for these freebies? Thanks!
