At the bottom of the inventory window, the Received items bar, why not remove it when it is empty, not need to have it there all the time. Plus that way you will be alerted when there is something new that you need to look at or deal with if the bar is there. You have that big beautiful Toolbar buttons toy box, why not put it to use. Have an Inventory 1 and an Inventory 2 button. Inventory 1 will have the Profile – Share – Shop buttons and Inventory 2 will not. Have Inventory 1 be active by default but having another Inventory option will allow us to get rid of the buttons some of us will never use. Its all about seeing the world, please help us see it better.

The American business model has nothing to do with making a living, its only intent is to make a killing. So yes the ads are necessary, very necessary.

Okay, screen settings, old monitor (not this one), incorrect browser settings, etc... But why only on LL web pages and no place else I go on the web?

I have never seen any other web site jump around when I open the page, only LL. Every page I open on the MP jumps, left to right, quick but still moves around, and the top add moves the page slightly also. There should be not movement of the page content just because there is an ad there. So, IMO it is such a mess because of the movement ON EVERY PAGE. And on the MP that is a lot of jumping around. Now I understand that there are many other people that know a lot more than me about web browsers and how to set the options, but from the little I know, its a mess for me, but not any more, thanks ad blocker.

I think this is right... I turned off third party cookies, that way when I go to a web page it does not report to another server that I was there. Firefox always informs me that it blocked a request to connect to another page, and I do not accept. So the way I see it, the ads never know I was there, no count no money. I have never used ad block before but the ads are so poorly done on LL web pages I had to give in and I now run ad block for the first time. As Sgt. Schultz would say, I see nothinggggggg.

Try .:Glamorize:. the price is right and they have a lot of choices.

For the most part, I don't like Mesh. Its like sludge, it moves a little but its like I was taken back to the 20's and someone put WAY to much starch in my clothing and my hair got slimed. But like you I tried demo after demo (add demo 50 more times, no on second thought just keep adding). I have come up with a few things that just fit and some I don't even use the alpha with. But OP saying 75% will not work, is more like 90% or more will not work, and the hair, NOT ON MY HEAD. OP: You just need to find that one or two things that work for you and when you do its like, wow I wish it all could be like this. But its not and I don't see it ever getting to that point.

I agree, SL is expensive. VAT in the UK went to 20% on January 4, 2011. That brings $295(USD) a month to over $350(USD) a month. Not only is that a car but its a nice new car, and to put in prescriptive... Family decided to try camping and bought a camper and a truck to pull it. “His” truck was a Dodge RAM four door big V8, brand new off the lot not much over that $350 monthly, comfy to ride in and carried everything we needed and pulled the camper too. Not expensive for a big truck, very expensive for a place to play.

Porky Gorky suggested: Step 2 - close the Marketplace. I don't have much money to spend on SL and if it were not for the Marketplace I would be lost. I can search the Marketplace by setting cost, I search 3L$ to 100L$ to keep the high cost out of the results and keep the DEMOS out of the results. I also check Copy and Modify so all the results I get will be something I will spend money on. I have had in my profile for a long time in the past, If your product is of such poor quality that you don't think I should not make a backup copy of it, then why should I give you any money for it. And also, “No Copy, No Cash”. However there is a place for no copy items, but that place is not in clothing, with no transfer what does no copy get you. I asked one store owner one time and he said, its part of a set so its no copy, I still don't understand that one.

Go to the SL web page and log on to your account, on the left click on Settings, at the top click on Privacy. If they work, you can limit who sees what in your profile. I do not think most people on SL even knows this is available to them.

Go into preferences and change to only show user names and do not show display names. Don't know if it will help but you may see a different name on the pop up that way.

I used a HUD for a while but found it did fail from time to time, seldom but still failed. Don't think it was this HUD that you point out but the HUD's all work about the same, I think. And the down side for me is that I had to use the HUD to fix my hands. With the AO I don't need the HUD because my hands do not change and my nails always look right, everyone is different, the AKEYO ROOKIE AO works best for me and the price is right.

I have always loved the look of the long nails but the way hands change position I just never used them. Then I started using AKEYO ROOKIE AO, it cost 1L$ and only has stand, sit, run and walk in it, and you can replace any or all of them. My fingers have never gone wonky with it running. And right now I am using CCD nails. Have not tried many but the CCD nails are nice. I have only tried the 100L$ plain nails though, I don't have much money to spend

I sent an IM and a note card asking politely for more information so I could contact LL but have heard nothing from them so I don't know where the info came from. And I had not just arrived on the sim, I had been there for over 20 minutes when someone said something about the “guy” that just came in with all the scripts. And then I got banned. I know I did not do anything wrong and the only person I know that was there knows it, best I can do.

Careful what you read off your server. I was recently banned from a sim because they said I was running over 1000 scripts. I had on only 27 scripts, even went to a store that has a wall that displays the scripts that everyone is running and what the KB total is. I had on only 27 scripts but I am still banned because the server was in error.

Just a thought here, I could be wrong. LL is following the lead of their users. To get the better things on SL you need to spend a LOT of money, why should land be any different. Like I said, just a thought and IMHO.

I use Firefox 19.0.2 and no add blocker and I see only half the add on the right and I get a scroll bar at the bottom of my browser. I also get a bar across the top that says: “Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page.” with an Allow or X on the right side as options. Every time I change a page on the MP I get this message. My guess is this is how the add knows someone looked at the page, but I never hit the Allow button so not sure what is happening.

Abuse report, interesting, I had not thought about that. If someone does something ugly and says you did it and calls you a griefer and bans you, is that good enough to file an AR about? And can you file it after the fact? I have all the logs that as far as I can tell shows I did nothing.

I have a thread in the General Discussion Forum (SIM crash question) but thought I should give you a heads up to the problem. I was banned from a SIM for running over 1000 scripts, the problem is that I know exactly how many scripts I was running and it was not even close to 1000, if fact it was only 27. My question is, has anyone else see erroneous script totals for avatars from the server, because I know this one is off by a long shot. I have asked the person that banned me to send me the server report showing that I had that many scripts so I could give it to LL, but have not seen it yet. Thanks for any information you can give me about this.
