I had created an account for my RL partner & he visited SL once & decided SL wasn’t for him. I began using that male avatar-account to double my chances in costume contests & sploders back in the day. I rarely interacted in local on the manitar avi. But one day someone slid into his IMs, letting “him” know that he could do so much better than Pixie & did he want to leave & go “chat” somewhere. I don’t remember what I replied, if anything- but I guess that’s a good testament to my ability to do absolutely nothing but log in a male alt convincingly. 🤷‍♀️ 🤨😂

Unless I skimmed past something stating the speedlight graphics had improved or that being premium plus enables you to see anything, there’s no advantage over just enabling offline ims to email for regular, non business needs. I log into speedlight in a houseboat region & next to nothing renders. And everyone is a literal stick figure. It’s great for chat, but is of no use to me personally past chat.

I remember going to stand up shows in SL back around 2010. You might check out some alternative entertainment spots like burlesque shows. Not sexy times spots- but choreographed burlesque spots might have a bead on night club acts.

Unfortunately no.

This will be my 3rd time. 1st when it originally aired, & straight thru within a week two years ago. Was really interesting watching the 2nd time with 15 years of life experience in between. Not sure if it was different because of those years of life & conversations about the show affecting how I experienced it, or if it was only because I knew what was going to happen.

In the same gossip vein there used to be “shopping cart disco” & “the whisperer”. Both of those have gone extinct.

I always respond to IMs. For whatever reason tho after the hi, hrus are done I get asked “so what’s up?” But I didn’t I initiate the conversation- it’s really 🙃 having that feeling of their expecting me to entertain them. But I always I initially respond.

Can you select just the red box in the edit menu and then turn the opacity to 100 to make it disappear? *don’t try unless your motorcycle has copy permissions in case trying breaks something.

I like the few shops I’ve found that sell their clothing by body style not color, I don’t need all these other copies for body’s I don’t own.

I’m not a user of TikTok to have seen these advertisements. But if I were I’d just as likely to scroll past &/or click the “mute this ad” like I do already with repetitive ones I see on Twitter if I were somehow targeted by an algorithm. Not that it would bother me that the creators were advertising, it just wouldn’t interest me. I look at the shopping sales blogs (yes I know I caused a ruckus a few weeks ago). In the end tho, more power to those creators who take that extra step. It’s probably fun to exercise their imaginations to create even more diverse mediums & goes towards the immersion of having a “second life.” edit: I forgot to say that for those people who trigger the algorithm but aren’t familiar SL, would it lead them to googling what it was for? I’m not sure.

Thought about my comment & think “creepy” would have been a better way of putting it. & while thinking over it, it seems like there was a 2nd similarly named avatar-account that was there with HAL3k a few times that behaved the same way. Rushing up to & trailing behind other avatars as they moved around. This was at one or two, maybe three underwater linden areas that had lots of traffic.

I ran into Hal 3000 multiple times under water in random places. I thought it was a “live” avatar with someone actively typing, pretending to be a robot. I found it really annoying, since it would tp next to me and chat at me even after I asked it to leave me alone. I went so far as to mute/block/derender it- but that didn’t keep it from still typing to me & bumping me. Weird finding out years later that it really was a bot. A really annoying one.

At first I was asked to host for a live music spot connected to a tiny empires guild but it was very overwhelming to me. Then,somehow people trusted me to decorate their land & that turned into decorating for parties. Slowly that turned into SL picture taking, which was my favorite, because it involved creating backdrops for staged photos & picking out costumes. For a time I did the erotic emoting for pay while on poseballs with others thing & surprisingly it paid the most. I was fortunate to have met many interesting & genuinely nice people thru my adventures in working in SL. Now I just occasionally log in & chat with one or two friends but they can find me in the real world,too- so I’m not in SL much anymore.

So you’re a voyeur or an exhibitionist (or both). Gotcha. That’s fine & totally allowable in Belliseria already. Inside your home with no additional privacy steps required. If someone then cams into your home & gets shocked or enjoys what they see- that’s on them. But to do some dancing in the sheets under the sun in Belli- to comply with the zoning of the community- tick the box that disables camming avatars on your parcel. It’s really simple. If that’s not agreeable there are still other options like buying your own land.

Kinda had to ban hot sauce in my home due to my partner’s heart failure. So I use a lot of fresh jalapeños, onions & garlic in my cooking now. ButI love sriracha & I have an unopened bottle of Dexter Holland’s (The Offspring) hot sauce.

Had I approached this company directly & if I were given this reply, I would not be swayed from believing these items are nods to the real life instances I provided. The MSLGA flag has a disclaimer that it’s a parody. Clearly I am not the first passerby to question items in the shop. I did not ever disparage the individuals behind the label. I played devils advocate at one point, by bringing up Agent Orange. Such that maybe the creator is ignorant of the connotation behind the item. But that’s not the only item.
