  1. Oi, I have lots. But I have a few out at my mini golf course- my ring pops are probably my oldest favorite giver. I finally picked a snow cone I love but it doesn't give out anything, it's attach only. I got my hot dog vendor a few weeks back during a weekend sale and it's the cutest thing ever. The little person in the weenie suit calls out every so often "HOT DOG!" & my hearing isn't the best, and at first I couldn't figure out how someone was yelling on my parcel without being there.
  2. If your prize - any part of it is random like a different color of gumball out of a candy machine & you won't know what color you receive until you pay money? Then you can not do it. If you want a blue gum ball and there are 37 red ones in the way to get to the one single blue one you can see- and know you can have said blue gumball if you first buy the other 37, then yes, you can do that. & even if it's just a mystery prize and not the point of the purchase to begin with- you can not do that. The entirety of the purchase must be known.
  3. Dear Linden Lab, We the residents of Second Life like bacon. Vegetarian options not allowed except waffles and tacos. Please, a pony would really neigh flamboyantly. Indeed, I bathe frequently in California. Glycerine soap isn't available. Regards, A.I. PS: TSOP P.P.S. Oh! FYI: This! Without that blog, nobody will care. Tomorrow things might improve slightly. Life is ... well, beautiful. Timing makes a pudding delicious, so furries hear spoons jingling hypnotically
  4. If possible go to a sandbox and drag out the most recent list & found item. Sometimes (I think) I’ve had similar experiences & the items ARE in lost & found but don’t show as linked- bundled by the return. When I drag it out I wind up with my stuffs. Happened recently with some gachas you can no longer buy direct from creator since they closed shop in SL.

  6. No? For so many reasons. Just a few: Families play SL together. Business accounts no doubt want privacy away from work. Some folk do have creepy stalkers they need to avoid.
  7. That's a loooooooooot of drama in one post. I'm not even going to address if I believe what you think is going on is actually what's happened. All I can say is that in SL it's like the Old West & you're on your own UP TO certain points & right now it seems that whatever is going on is going to fall on you to ignore & avoid. Stop posting things on your profile & exterior websites you don't want anyone with ulterior motives having access to. & lastly- Sometimes you have to walk away from whatever investment you have in an avi and start over on new Avis & create new habits & friends.
  8. To quote the immortal Jim Morrison (& later Echo and the Bunnymen) - "People are strange." There's no reasoning why- just an unknowable pleasure that individual received from being creepy. Or just a really weird coincidence. Or some weird bot that copies profiles to their own? Who knows. They can't hurt you past weirding you out.
  9. If I understand what you’re talking about, there is an inspired version of a game on The Price Is Right- Plinko that someone made where you pick up a ball a move it & drop it into the peg board. But the physics or whatever it would be called is pretty terrible & the ball runs away- doesn’t stay confined to the board.
  10. Thank you Amelia- yea it was really freaky like after 15 years have I been hacked or something?
  11. Thank you both for your replies. At least I know now it's not just my machine.
  12. It has happened several times now, in the past 4ish weeks. 1st instance manifested as an actual conference (at top of chat box) for a shop I had joined long enough to collect gifts & dropped it. Then Saturday- yesterday, a group I left in January- aa group chat w the group name listed popped up. The first time I wasn’t sure what was going on & I messaged the message starter- asking if I had joined a contest or something & had they created a group chat based on entries? They were surprised by my message & maybe suspicious which is never a good feeling, knowing someone thinks you’re up to something hinky. Tonight I said nothing just closed the window. Finally I’m getting group chat toasts (is that the name?- where chat floats up in the viewer outside the communication box?) when I have them shut off in preferences. But it will do this for only one group while six or so other chats are actively scrolling & confined to their boxes. just me? Any ideas? tyia
  13. Has been my ear worm for a couple of weeks 🎶🎶🎶🎶.
  14. I found out this past winter that the now defunct [Commoner] shop that participated in The Arcade for years- one set of items that has been one of my favorites exists in the real world! While not all in SL are the same as RL & Vice versa- many are & I get to buy the glitter caniste at the end of this month & I’m so excited! I agree that I am not drawn to current Arcade prizes as those in the past.
  15. Blind random prize variation is no longer allowed. Now it’s basically a vending machine with just one slot of candy available to you. That chocolate bar you crave might happen to be in front and first for sale. But usually it’s 3,5,7 or more deep behind breath mints & gum. Or maybe not even visible. So you might feed the machine hoping the flavor you want eventually comes up. With the hud you won’t get sniped by a fellow shopper watching the same machine for X prize. So mechanically the same but method of operation is different. & as mentioned- many creators just put the entire set out as a fat pack at one price.
  16. Dwight Shelford aka Dwight Schrute from The Office. I had Dwight Shelford on my friends list years ago. https://mashable.com/article/the-office-dwight-second-life-local-ad-episode
  17. I was mostly gone from SL save a random log in once a year or so from 2017- till January 2024. Decided to update w a new to me brand of head & body (so I would *have* to go shopping). i just finally in the past week or so deleted my slink hands, slink feet, body & Lola tangos & all that went with them. Probably deleted everything freya related, too. For some reason tho, I can’t seem to delete my older catwa heads. I know I will never use them now that I bought a new brand, but there’s something I’m overly attached to identity wise with the faces. If that makes any sense.
  18. Uh-oh. Well, add that to my talents! Taboo topics! Thanks for the heads up.
  19. What is the other big issue? I don’t know if that comes across snarking in asking (I’m talented that way when I don’t mean to be) - I honestly do not know & am curious?
  20. I searched “billiards” & sorted by best selling & your $1L table was the 2nd listing, however it had the lowest rating on the first page of 96 results. I sorted by oldest, and your 73 prim $L899 table with the oldest review from 2010 is the 7th result w/ not great ratings. So for me, if I was in the market for a table I would search this way & not be inclined to purchase either due to age of product, ratings & high prim count. Prims-land impact is a precious finite commodity there’s been a loooot of improvements & strides made for creators to produce desirable merchandise & primmy items that are going on 15 years old aren’t in demand. Maybe you might take the previous reviews as constructive criticism & address issues previously raised in rating comments ie the inability to rotate a table because the racked balls can only face one direction. Work on an improved product & offer it to one or two previous reviewers upon releas3 & see what they think.
  21. I don’t know that NO one knows, but I did not know for many, many years that typing rezplat in local births a big flat prim for you, where ever you happen to be. Which made finding out about the aforementioned gth2000 or 3000 etc very exciting, as now I didn’t have to rez on the ground & then edit on the ground. Because prior to gth I held my flight feather tight & flew up up up, and up and up, took a breather, then flew some more hoping to find the prim I shot into the sky. This was also of course before I realized I could just use the world map to TP to 2,000m up. Never assume everybody knows any one thing. I’m sure there’s things in SL I’m still taking the long road on, even after 15 years.=)
  22. I’ve always said there are two types of people in the world (& it’s been on my SL profile forever): Those who prefer Roth Van Halen. & Those who are wrong. ^^
  23. You likely have checked- but double check in preferences under sound & media that not only is voice enabled, but you haven’t accidentally turned that sound slider off all the way?
  24. Yes. Someone who I referred to in another post. He called me sister, but to me he was even more than a brother. He was this safe place I could spend time with and have the conversations I was never able to have in the real world with blood family. I wish I had words to make things less scary, or hurt less @ballparkdogg. Hugs.
