Basic Accounts gone?

Looks like LL deleted the option to downgrade to a Basic Account from Premium. The only options now are Premium and Premium Plus.

Is anyone else seeing this?

No, I still see the option to change to Basic Plan in the Premium column under Your Current Plan.

You may want to look at this thread if you were paying quarterly.

Yep, the two accounts I was trying to downgrade are quarterly, which means they're both experiencing that bug.

Yeah. LL knows this new option is so terrible, the only way to get people to use it is to remove the alternatives.

On the Change Membership page, in the part where it tells me my current plan (Premium of course), there is a Change to Basic Account link.

The link is there if you currently pay Monthly or Yearly.  The link is missing for those that currently pay Quarterly.

Has LL ever justified, or even given a reason (justifiably or not) why they eliminated the 3 month payment option?  Telling us it is no longer an option and then stopping, is not a reason.

If you are on the quarterly plan, you may need to call phone support to downgrade. It's a known bug on the website.

You already responded in this theread, so you know the reason already;

There is a bug in the page coding for people who pay quarterly.

Solution; switch to monthly before your next quarterly payment is due, then switch to Basic before your next monthly payment is due. .

Nothing like showing up late to the party after it's been solved, then saying "Why did you ask if you already know?" Pay attention to posting dates, dude.
