I wonder if when the "camper" regions are eventually retired, if they let the remaining residents move to a new continent? That's what "campers" do!

I would ask if I can camp out as a resident cabin or lighthouse keeper or perhaps request underground burrow homes. If there was a modern, eco type model and a rustic model I am sure it would gain fans

I long for 512 versions of all the homes eventually that would be the ultimate upgrade to the previous themes for me - I absolutely love the Houseboats, Victorians and Fantasy especially but when I get them I find them too large well the exception being the boats I suppose. I find the Sakura 512 although being quite close to other homes seem to have some better sense of personal space than boats. The waterways pulled me in initially - it is a driving factor behind my love of the Fantasy too, waterway system likewise with Victorians it is the railway system. The other push for Fantasy is the season system and night magic - a 512 model there would be great! A 512 boat would be great! (wish wish) :)

I know this thread is rather old now with 3 months of inactivity, but I think it's a worthwhile topic so I'm posting here. I recently upgraded to Premium Plus and since I use up 1536 square meters on mainland that only leaves me 512 for a Linden Home on Blush's account. I had gotten a Sakura with that but since Debi has a 1024 Sak, in a great location, I decided to roll for a 512 Newbrooke this past weekend. I was thinking I can put in for a house by doing a ticket request, but since it was the weekend I decided to just roll. I was hoping for something with water access. I only rolled once and got this keeper. I honestly was so excited when I saw water, but once I opened the map and saw that I was on the edge of a river that goes all the way out to the newly opened channel to the mainland I was more than excited. I promptly rezzed a boat and motored out to Stromberg.

You may be saying but you only get 175 prims with a 512. But with this location and the abundance of landscaping around my yard I didn't need to do much with the garden.

I added a few hedges and a couple flowers along with a small lemon tree to the front. That's all the gardening I needed to do.

I have a nice great room as I enter my home.

The view from the covered patio is welcoming as well.

Down the hallway is the bath and bedroom.

To be continued!

As promised here's the rest. The bedroom is a nice size but still on the small side.

The bath is huge for a bath but not really suitable for a bedroom.

Even after furnishing all the rooms I had enough LI left for a nice hot tub on the patio.

So, if you're like me and have used some of your LI elsewhere and need a smaller Linden Home, you might want to try out one of these 512s. There are some great locations out there.

I added some trees around the lot, and there's a water pump, outhouse, and firepit not really visible in this.

Still have 40 land impact left.

I managed to hold on to so much land impact by doing two things:

1. Linked everything that wasn't sittable furniture together (then went in and set the "physics shape type" to "none" for everything that didn't NEED to be an obstruction, and kept the root prim as 'prim'.

2. Googled up 'standard counter height', 'standard chair height', and so on for everything and resized it. I even measured the diagonal of the computer screen there and checked it against my old iMac - resulting in my cutting it's size in half.

- That kitchen for example, from Apple Fall, had it's land impact get cut in half once I resized it to what google told me a kitchen counter should be. Then got even less Land Impact when I linked it.

That all meant spending hours fixing furniture poses... but that's a "do it once" kind of thing as if I ever move I can just take the now fixed things with me.

This of course all means my avatar is "smaller" too - she's the same height I am in 'real life'.

Someone left this falls view camper which was too hard to resist taking over - I am making a little grove I find these Olive trees are great for Autumn look but maybe not when the Winter hits (advice needed) I know I have tree and landscape friends out there :) made a shaky start to the inside I always go with wenge floors and trim around this time of year but that sets me off in a dark palette when I could benefit trying some other variations...
