Hello everyone! This question might have already been answered, unknowingly to me. If it has, so sorry for the duplicate question, but I couldn't seem to find it in the forums. If is has been answered, please share the link to that forum.

My two friends and I have been looking for land to rent. We already have a house and just need land to put it on. The issue we have been running into is the prim allowance (I've noticed this has been talked about a lot among SL users). The other thing is that we don't know a lot of places that offer a variety of lands to rent.

So, my question is two-fold:

1.) Are there some good lands out there that offer a big prim allowance, and if so, where?

2.) What are some of the best places that provide a good variety of options to look at?

Thanks and hope everyone is doing well. Take care!

Contact Count Burks Estates...I always get great prim allowances on his land, and he excels in customer service.  He usually has an ad in the Land for Rent section of this forum...or  you can just go here: http://countburks.com/index.html/

I've rented from DreamSeekers for most of my years in SL.  They have been in business for years and are one of the biggest.  I have never had an issue with them and their customer service is top notch.  They have a list of land available here with size, prims and prices listed.  Also, which type of land, residential or commercial.

You've gotten some fine suggestions already, I just want to point out that there's no such thing as a free lunch with prim allowances. Ultimately it comes down to how much the region can support, divided up among tenants and any space reserved for the Estate. Regions can have more or fewer total prims, but the ones with more in the total do pay more to LL each month so, yeah, no free lunch. Some regions reserve land from rental to be able to apply some of its prims to each rental, thus offering a region "object bonus"—but that's because they've reserved land, so fewer m² available to rent, so higher rents per m², so again, no free lunch.

That said, there are places that charge a lot for no extra prim allowance, which is why it's worth shopping around.

Oh, yeah, also there are Mainland rentals, as well as private Estates. I have no relevant experience, but one of the larger landlords is Prokofy Neva of Ravenglass Rentals among others.

Anyway, shopping for rentals is fun, so it's perfectly fine to do it more than once if the first try doesn't work out.

the best is to rent a land offering double prim compared to the others as for example on the sims horizons and Nautilus. That is to say that these grounds offer to be able to pose 2 times more prim than the same size elsewhere which is great. It's the land that counts, not the business.
