How Does Your SL Look Today?

Having fun growing my flower while listening to music, the last song I listened to was from Nine Inch Nails, now I'm listening to Phil Collins 🙃  At this current club a lot of people are chatting with one another, it is pretty nice.

This current club is in a neon pyramid, I love checking out all of the work people put in these.

Unfortunately, I have to turn down some of my settings so I can't really do the screenshots very much justice.

It is pretty wild seeing 62 people in this one region, it is handling pretty well all things considered.

Oh mah gadz, I think my behavior yesterday may have driven the poor god off.

 

Drinks are on me!

* I did not derender him, he really is gone 😱  Even walking around behind the bar I move around freely, so I don't think it is my viewer.

 

I kind of feel bad for him, if it were not bad enough that Osiris replaced him as the God of the dead, he is now been removed from the bar.  Then again, he never did get me my long island iced tea 👿, perhaps he was fired for refusing to do his job.  I wonder if we will get an automated teller in his place?

He is back, it must have been my viewer.  He is phantom, so you can walk through him.  That was pretty funny while it lasted though.

Last night I watched some old Bob Ross stuff.
Why not give it a go....

All I still need is a Afro style wig and a shiny white shirt.

I went to Scylla's opening  of her new exhibition. It was a success and the pictures are really worth seeing.
They are a bit big to hang above my fireplace though.

testing out a toaster:

This is an Intel N100 based motherboard, one of those chips thats usually in those nuc style mini pcs. This one has pcie slots so i can put a dedicated gpu and sound card on it for an HTPC sort of deal.

Wanted to see how it would do in SL, not terrible but definitely not great. Does better than the igpu does anyway.

linux is a weird one for this

same hardware, half the framerate

though a LOT less stutter, like it sucks but it consistently sucks

it also uses around half the ram

Playing around with Black Dragon and learning how to pose my avatar.  This is my first pose made using it, a bit of a rush job but it was fun, taken in my little slice of zombie heaven pie in the sky with the zombies currently in hiding. 

I goofed up my face a little by trying to make a smile, but a perfectionist I definitely am not.  I'm looking forward to setting up a few scenes in the future using it.  It slows my computer down a lot though.

Awww, thank you so much Istelathis! I'm sorry you missed the main event! And me! I've met you at the Social Casino, but it would have been nice to connect in-world again!

It did go very well -- Carelyna, the gallery owner, says we had a little over 100 people in the course of two and a half hours, so I'm very pleased! And didn't crash even ONCE!

Btw, the fairy in the pic is a forumite, @BelindaN!

PS. I'm sooooo glad Anubis hasn't hunted you down yet! Let me know if you need a hiding place: there's a space under the floorboards in the gallery I know about . . .

But I have to say that nothing is nicer than seeing someone actually hang one of your pieces in a place where they are going to be seeing it. It feels like a kind of connection on a very different level.
