    Peeve: And yet another page or so about why I don't socialize much in SL. Sometimes in a discussion a man is a moron because he never compliments or notices something new like a dress, hair, skin or whatever. Sometimes in a discussion (this time) a man is a moron if he does compliment.

    Marketplace sales are like a roller coaster for me. Sometimes steep up, then steep down again. I'm on a down point at the moment. The last few weeks were okay though. I think in my case it has to do with the fact that I still only have a relatively small number of items on sale.

    There is an invitation to apply already in the blog post. So communities have a chance to get a spot if they want to and are a bit newbie friendly.

    I saw this blog post a few hours ago and I think this is an excellent move from the Lab. One can't tell new signups enough about what there is to explore in SL. If the new resident finds something of their interest, they will more likely stay and return than when they think after 5 minutes: "Now what?"

    Well, Belli is my workstation more than my home to be honest. It is the place where I grumble over possible add-ons. But for a few types I have a complete house inventory in a rezbox so I can live there for a few days/weeks within seconds if I want to. My favorite is a Tortuga on the water, my boat next to the back deck.... let the weekend begin. 🛟

    And it is most likely an attack on your electricity bill. Modern freezers are far more energy efficient. The freezer I bought last year has double size, compared to the old one, it freezes standard to -18C, auto defrost and is cheaper in energy use than the old one. Because of the threads title: I asked my fridge for some food puns. It said, “Lettuce keep it cool.”

    There are far better local takeaways where I live. But kids are conditioned to like McD and KFC and others by the endless stream of commercials on TV. Time for some fun:

    Downside is a lot of streams don't last very long. A good feature that one can add new ones.

    Sure everybody is welcome, but one has to get used to the merits of the forums, just like everywhere. But calling a bunch of regulars here "little 5 year old school yard bullies ..." I dunno. It reminds me of the German proverb "Das ist nicht die feine englische Art".

    On forums, every forum on the Internet, it is simple. One fits in and starts to feel at home over time, or one doesn't. It is called group dynamics. Forums will not change their ways easily. Positive ending of my post: There are a gazillion places on the web where one can vent their ideas, opinions, sorrows, fun .....

    The Netherlands is 99%. There is you, me and Ceka, all the others are my alts. Why do you think so many people just stand around in their homes or on their platforms? It is hard to handle them all at the same time.

    I did the math again yesterday morning and I decided to go premium plus for a year. Got myself a Mediterranean home. And o boy, building fever hit me. Yay. I have been moving prims and plants all weekend. And now I have a nice (partly still prim) version for an add-on (I think). Next step: producing the meshes. Not really my favorite part.

    I haven't been in a McD since the days that my sister's grandchildren where little ones and needed someone to take them there. That is easily more than 10 years ago. I guess it is time for another visit soon.

    Is there maybe a problem with LL mails on your side? The wrong mail address or the mail from Linden Lab ending up in your spam\junk mail section automatically. Happened to me too in the past. But I guess it is too late already by now for this event. Setup time for the shops ends tomorrow.
