Yes, it was an epic fail then but that was then and this is now. There has been a changing of the guards. Some of those LL employees are no longer working for LL. Perhaps, with some fresh(er) blood they will get closer to getting it right this time. They might even get it right enough that they just have to modify some coding to make it right. On the other hand, this is LL we are talking about. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Oh...and the only reason my inventory on this account is now below 30k is because I keep things like textures boxed until I need to use them. I have the maximum amount withheld. That is how I have managed to get a refund every year for the past 45 years with one exception. That was the year I had to claim my inheritance. Having been a bookkeeper for an undergound utility contractor for 10 years I'm very familiar with the tax laws. My memory is pretty good and I remember when Starex left. I've been a resident since 2004. That's all I'm going to say about that.

In RL, a "knee to the crotch" usually convinces them no means no. Usually pisses them off too. We do have the legal right to defend ourselves against sexual assault in the US.

Neither was I. It's not just the disposable personas, these guys are like this all the time. They believe they can get away with it because they have been allowed to get away with it for millennia.

Even in RL it never stops. They're called privileged white males, usually. They aren't always white but they are definitely always male. Guys like that hit my ignore list in less than a heartbeat.

Yeah... No. That's not how it works with me. The nickname may change but the person behind it is still the same. Online reps are as much a part of us as our lungs are. If you are a certain way online, as far as I am concerned, you are the same in RL. Much as people try to separate RL from online, it is not possible, unless you can change who you fundamentally are. There hasn't been a human born on this planet that can do that. I doubt there ever will be.
