  1. Hi Daniel, I think she was saying that saying where the Moles are working is alerting those who are tempted to harass. Maybe would have worked better as a personal message.
  2. There are many wearable boats available, useful for when out and about and not wanting to find a rez zone. This is my What Next rowing boat usually (not usually this leaky, not sure what I did there!) To the right you can see a member of the Bellisseria homeless group using a wearable sleeping bag. I didn't like to wake him to ask him where he got it from.
  3. Now that's a fun role play!
  4. Thank you so much to those that posted here. I feel a little less crazy for swimming upstream My place is feeling more like home as I approach my last fifty prims. This black board is an extravagant 19 land impact, but somehow this is *so me*. At home I have lists everywhere, and it is fun to update the text inworld. I am having some difficulty adding lived in clutter, as I spend so much effort trying to streamline our house in RL. However, I am determined to finish decorating a house for once.
  5. I hewed my own out of old prim wood I found. I'm not saying it's stylish, but what with the zero animations and the lack of attention to detail it blends into the background in a pleasing way. (also @Marianne Little doesn't have one hehe .. but I wouldn't want to mess up her collection so if she asks I'll give it to her for free ( it comes with an imaginary sink so that's tempting bait in itself ) )
  6. It isn't that I hate prims, it's more that I like to spread them around It's nice to be able to property hop round the mainland with the spare 512 allowance.
  7. I'd like one! If there is less demand then all the better
  8. @Pixie Kobichenko beautiful Pixie! Pay those contractors double!
  9. That's what you call a 'talking point' or 'conversation starter'.
  10. Yes of course. You still have the restriction of five picks and abandons each day, but that can be quite quick and easy to do, unlike with the newer homes.
  11. That darn swedish chef was an imposter!!
  12. @Liv Zerundi love those shots, your green and white scheme is so fresh and inviting!
  13. After seeing some great examples of older Linden homes makeovers around the forum I thought it might be nice to have a thread to gather those together. So if you are camping out waiting for a move to Bellisseria, or loving your established home show us what you can do! This is my Meadowbrook Overlook property, definitely a work in progress!. I was initially put off getting a two story place because I disliked the 'painted on' stairs but it turned out to be easy to cover them up. It took me 3 'abandon and hop's to find a spot I was happy with, two of those jumps led me to open water views. I have around 80 prims left after placing my major items so the decor should look a little less sparse soon enough
  14. Having recently moved into a Meadowbrook property I found your original post really inspiring, the latest look look evens better!
  15. Isn't there some sort of rule about this in (UK) football? Home team changes to their alternate kit
  16. I'd be weirded out by it, especially if it was next door! Choosing similar things is a different story, we can all be following trends without realising.
  17. You can't give your home to someone in particular. You can abandon it and it returns to the pool where anyone can grab it.
  18. Maybe they put up a big map textured decoy prim over a secret area? (Is that possible?)
  19. Don't forget that people abandon their homes at all times through the day @Gordon Nadezda but these could be from anywhere in Bellisseria!
  20. Lots of inspiration thank you! (I just spent a day covering up the stairs in mine!) Also I got a welcome from the neighbour, so I guess community is what you make it?
  21. "We took a great deal of effort to design our sim and if you want to view anything we advertised in marketplace, we've hidden it very carefully so you have more time to admire our landscape design skilllz whilst on the hunt"
  22. @RaeLeeH I think @Echo Kinsella was suggesting a free option. I can't see it happening due to complexity. I thought that chopping up a few large abandoned sites, and releasing them through established systems might be easier to achieve, though of course it is unknown how bad actors might choose to game the system in that case. You can buy plots privately for cheaper than the Linden's 1l per metre squared policy. As you can imagine, if someone is planning to abandon then getting a smaller amount is better than nothing. With a group allowance you can achieve 563m2 for purchase cost plus free tier. I understand what you are saying about people's complaints, Linden homes are free at point of purchase if you've already paid for premium.
  23. Thank you for the useful comments. I set up the slurl proxy as an insurance against further self generated problems
