Thanks. I didn't know there was an Eryie stone at Hanshin. I think there is also an undersea portal at Picard's Wharf? Btw, if LL ever decides to open another water route connecting to Fantasaria, they could add 2 water regions near Hanshin to connect to existing coastal lanes. I know it was someone's vision to keep Fantassaria isolated, but sailors would enjoy having more options for sailing around it. I think there would need to be a whirlpool or something to make the route challenging though.

Sometimes missing inventory can be recovered, though probably not for an account that was deleted that long ago. I had a a bunch of inventory missing once, including my whole shoe folder. I contacted support and was directed to log into the Alditi (spelling?) grid, where a Linden helped reset and restore my regular inventory. They said at the time that I had too much inventory & too many folders. After that I started deleting stuff & organizing my inventory better to get well under 100,000 items.

I use a full-perm radio in my Linden Home with several stations, so I can change them easily. Mostly I listen to one of the channels from Radio Paradise. https://radioparadise.com/listen/stream-links

I think Glam Affair might have mesh eyes, and most of their eyes have Omega appliers. I don't know if they are unrigged though. There may be older unrigged eyes on Marketplace too. I think By Snow had some lovely ones for $L 10.

I thought the 512 m Bellissera homes were introduced to lure people away from their old 512 m Linden Homes. The campers were a novel idea for those who might have mainland or had donated tier to a group, but who also wanted a little place to get away to in a woodsy environment. The account level between Basic and Premium seems to have been created primarily to encourage people to buy mainland. Being marked as a Premium account is necessary to get a Linden Home, but LL wants each Premium account to only have one Linden Home. If people want multiple homes, they have to either buy mainland or pay for another account, which would mean more money for Linden Lab either way.

We can see the Moles are adding more Stilt and Ranch homes. We can't see the Mediterranean regions that will probably be added on Monday, with homes already on them.

If you found items in your inventory that you didn't remember buying, while other items you thought you had seemed to be missing, wouldn't you also think someone had been messing with your in inventory? We don't know if the account was hacked or if someone they knew had access to it. Inventory doesn't usually disappear on its own (unless someone has a very big inventory without many subfolders). LL was also cleaning up some very large and unorganized inventories, so maybe that's what happened to the OP? To the OP, If you wear an alpha layer that leaves only your head visible, it may be meant to go with a mesh body or mesh clothing. Look in your inventory under Worn and take a screenshot for us if you can.

😳 I wanted a "Wow!" emoji. Congratulations on getting you account back. Don't worry too much about your old clothes being deleted. If they were very old you might be happier with new ones. Some may also be able to be redelivered. Go to your favorite stores to see if they have a Redelivery option. Delete all the crap the other person added too, if there's nothing there you want. Old system clothing may still be usable as Bakes On Mesh, if you get a mesh body. The only part that doesn't work well are system skirt layers. Flexi and bling are out of fashion now too. p.s. Rowen added a good explantation for what you called "transparent clothing". If this is what you were taking about, don't delete it all. You'll need that to wear mesh clothing properly.

Note: The curtained bed has a fairly high Land Impact as is, but with the curtains removed it's not bad. Most Apple Fall item are modifiable.

Not many people use that trick of purposefully trying to get a house that someone else has just released. The vast majority of Linden Home owners don't even come to the forums, and it must be especially frustrating for new users. They think they're going to get a choice of homes, but instead they get the same home over and over.

It still creates frustration, especially as most users are not and never will be P+. I think the easiest way to correct this problem would be for just released parcels to go to the bottom of the list of available ones.

If it's the event I'm thinking of, I thought they were going for a Tron vibe. As for lighting issue, I often just change my personal environment/ lighting by changing to the medium gray tone, rather than actually changing the environment.

For years there was a bridge out in Satori, and people were expected to try to jump the gap, so anything is possible.

Do you not see all the fashion and photo posts on here? Some of us (not me) are huge consumers. We're buying clothes, skin, mesh bodies & heads, hair, houses and furniture. We've even got a recent thread about which vehicles are best for driving in SL.

Some vehicles need a sound file that says, "Yay! We're doomed!"

Don't take this negative feedback too seriously. People are bored for some drama.

I don't think this is weird. We regular users are kind of wired to think of lindens as a currency within our unique economic system here, rather than as what their RL market value is. We may think $L 250 isn't bad for a dress or "Dang! that's almost my whole weekly stipend", rather than that's $1 US. My former landlady would be happy if she made $L 500 in tips after working as a SL hostess for 2 hrs, rather than thinking she'd only made $ 1/ hour.

This may be follow up information to take the thesis beyond the initial survey.

Hey, at least they're offering to pay people for their time, though they might have gotten away with paying in linden dollars instead.

I love that they named one region after the puteketeke. John Oliver ran a huge campaign to get it named the New Zealand bird of the year. It can be found in Europe and North Africa too though, according to this video, so it can be said to be a Mediterranean bird.
