Well Kylie, it is for me too. Point taken. I wasn't really being clear though. I am also an extension of myself. I'll talk about RL with my friends, I (now) have a RL pic in my profile and I don't do anything I want to hide or be ashamed of, or just have a lil getaway from the humdrum of home life. I'm just me, good or bad. What I was trying to say (badly as usual) is that it's a good idea to be "en guarde" from people who are playng a seperate life to their RL. It happens and I have no issue with it other than I've seen a long trail of broken hearts because one person was playing a role and the other was playing themselves. I wish my text reflected my face more

Attacking a person's spelling and grammar?
Eloise Baily replied to honerken's topic in General Discussion Forum
Oy Carole! Who'd have pensed all this le kerfuffle eh? -
Well I don't give a flying fairy about what my gubbamint knows about me. I'm not hiding anything. As for the rest of the population, they don't even know I exist, nor do they care what I get up to, and in the unlikely event that I suddenly become famous...well more power to me with all that juicy goss increasing my exposure right? I fail to see the downside, but I am very liberal. I just don't see surveillance a s a big deal because they mostly don't give a stuff about you.

I know it goes to email Ima. That's why I posted my apology. If I thought it would remain anonymous I'd probably have taken the coward's way out and deleted it without saying anything. I dislike confrontation. Please take your love of forum fighting elsewhere Ima. I don't share your interest. -
I need to kill that bloody hummingbird.

I'm loving this thread. I am still a newb too. Every day is a schoolday for me and that's why I enjoy it. Be careful about free gifts from other avatars. Some of that stuff could be electronically stolen from someone. The person who gives it to you may have no idea, but it can be taken away from you at anytime. It can also get you into trouble. It rarely does, but rarely is not never. Oryion, You must visit Crave. They do fantastic christmas lucky chairs, and they are normally surrounded by people because the outfits are great. I think they do Hallowe'en too but I can't be sure. -
You know what Ian..I'm going to do just that. Dunno why I haven't before tbh

When did you stop being a newbie?
Eloise Baily replied to Oryion's topic in General Discussion Forum
Oh I dunno Peewe. I am nearly 3 years old, sometimes make my own clothes and furnishings, know how to do most stuff but I'll still hop on a lucky chair or join a hunt. I've had some fabulous free stuff over the years and groups such as fabfreesl and the like are just fun on top. I like any way to find new places. I also get a kick out of sitting on a crappy lucky chair coz I'm the only E in the room and the other guys don't have to wait 20 minutes to flip it again. -
I may be Barbie, but I try not to be boring

OnDuty Pregnancy - how to avoid it?
Eloise Baily replied to Glimmer Aries's topic in General Discussion Forum
Ewww Sl pregnancy *shudder*. These things totally creep me out but fear not. You are sterile unless you choose not to be. -
Linda!!! YAY!!!!! I also really hate these things in longstanding businesses, but I often think the new merchant is just trying to be there 24/7 in some way. I would like to think that with enough time and customer complaints, they would adjust the way they say hi. I personally like those pics on the wall that tell me if they are online or not. I'm assuming they can set them to give a false response if they want some peace. I hope so. That and a fast rezzing teleport map, signpost and wall of ads smack bang in front of me when I land and all is good.

If the picture in your house is a bought one, first make sure it has modify options, then if it is right click on the picture and choose edit. If it turns yellow AND blue there is more than one prim so tick edit selected prims in your edit box, then click off it and back on where you want to change the pic.

I do like your measured responses Void

There's no deep stuff going on. We don't mind being cammed all over the place because we know that the truth is, 99% of the time, no-one can be bothered to look at the footage.

@Void. Thanks for your response. I was having a giggle. No offense was intended, and we weren't sitting sipping coffee. Looks like coming back was not such a good idea as it's this kind of argument and disagreement that kept me away in the first place. As I said though, I appreciate your honest response. @Ima. I am as honest, kind and smiley as I can be. I try not to respond to you at all. Edited: Because I'm better than that. Sorry -
Thing is Void, we have that and we know about it...but we still don't don tinfoil.
