  1. I think the first expansion of Mediterranean might not be northwards one, but be eastwards instead, closing the gap between Mediterranean and Sakura. An east side expansion would allow space for a coastal railway line and link to be built between the two themes.
  2. I think the fifty Mediterranean regions are about to be released quite Soonβ„’, as their red (reddy/ready) region markers are also vanishing too...
  3. Mediterranean region covers have been removed from the inworld map, revealing the arrangement of houses, terrain, ponds and rivers.
  4. Thanks. I've updated my map too.
  5. Three Sheets now has it's own boat rez pier and train rez station! LM: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Three Sheets/152/52/58
  6. Found a visual source for the name too, from @Atlan Bade Visit: https://sailinginsl.wordpress.com/sailing-in-sl-how-to-start/
  7. Just noticed that the Imelza sim in south-west Satori continent is mostly up for sale and rent! Imelza is very close to the Linden Homes continent, Bellisseria. Imelza would make a great location for a public marina, a GTFO hub or perhaps another SLCG base. Hopefully, someone can establish some public water and begin a process of making Satori's entire west coast fully accessible to boats!
  8. According to the SL Sailing Association group, the area of water is named the "Aldabra Sea". Apparently, it's named after the Aldabra Atoll, the world's second largest coral atoll, which is located in the Seychelles. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldabra
  9. Completely wrong ^ Boxing Day is the day after Christmas Day in England (and other Commonwealth nations), when traditionally the monetary donation charity boxes in Christian churches (called Alms Boxes) were opened by the priests and the money contained in them was distributed to the poor and needy in the community. Hence "Boxing Day". Similarly, Boxing Day is also a day when wealthy people, business owners and home owners would give useful things and leftover Christmas food to their less fortunate employees, staff, servants and tradesmen in a figurative "Christmas Box" gift. Hence "Boxing Day". Boxing Day is also used by retail businesses as a day to sell off unsold Christmas items in huge discounted "Boxing Day Sales" retail clearance events across the nations of the UK. It's basically the UK's version of Black Friday, but much, much older, bigger and only lasts for the duration of Boxing Day itself. Boxing Day is also a day in the UK when many people have time off work to go out together to watch or compete in local Boxing Day sports events. The Boxing Day sports tradition comes from specially-arranged Christmas season charity sports and pastimes events that gave all their financial earnings from the day to local charities. Boxing Day is also known as Saint Stephen's Day and is mentioned in the Christmas carol, "Good King Wenceslas" as "the feast of Stephen".
  10. Peeve: Christmas sims which exclusively feature just Christmas-related content, that are named as "Holiday" sims or feature "Holiday" content to appease the easily/professionally offended and non-Christians.
  11. Peeve: Christmas sims with penguins in them. Penguins are southern hemisphere birds that are never found in the wild in the northern hemisphere or at the North Pole. So stop it!
  12. Collect 400 Snowflakes at Winter Wonderland = Boopie #6 (Nessie in a bowl) 150 Snowflakes = Boopie #7, a Snowflake 50 Snowflakes = Boopie #10, a Snowman Go to Portal Park for Winter Wonderland entrance gate.

  15. Have you tried the official SL viewer with the PC?
  16. I like their design, but these homes exterior textures look "too new" to be authentically Mediterranean. They could all do with a retexturing option to allow worn, old, cracked, chipped, dirtier exterior texturing to make it look more natural, contemporary and convincing. At the moment, they all look like freshly built retro-Med show homes from a "new build" housing development. And the actual Mediterranean isn't like that. These kinds of homes can be several hundred years old. And the same with the surrounding street texturing too.

  20. @Aethelwine Challenge completed! 🀩 Started: 04:21 SLT 7th December 2023 (from FairChang Marina) Finished: 05:10 SLT 7th December 2023 (at FairChang Marina) Time Taken: 49 minutes. Boat Used: Michie Marine Bat-Boat. A tricky challenge. I circumnavigated Nautilus (and Nautilus City) in a clockwise loop, starting and finishing at Fairchang Marina (FairChang Office). Quite challenging, especially at the north and north east of Nautilus. No doubt that I could go quicker than 49 minutes on a second attempt.
  21. Hello. Have you tried logging in with the Linden viewer yet? If not, please try that. https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ Also, heres the official Firestorm clean install guide: https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/fs_clean_install Older versions of Firestorm: https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/fs_older_downloads Sometimes, anti-virus or anti-malware software can mistakenly blacklist a viewer and prevent it running. The Firestorm guide to "whitelisting": https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/antivirus_whitelisting Let us know if you're successful.
  22. It would make sense to continue the Logland railway northwards up Ranch's east coast up to "Mediterranean" (or whatever it's actually called), then eastwards across to Sakura, linking at it's Shobu region where a railway station already exists.
