Remember to check the terms of service for using SL too, because you could run afoul of the services terms even with a free speech sim.

Orb has not returned to the inventory!

might be a broken link in the mysql database, it happens sometimes, LL runs maintaince on the Asset nodes and tends to fix them, it might come back once it runs. -
Possible national satellite broadcast of Second Life?
bigmoe Whitfield replied to jw99sl's topic in General Discussion Forum
Sir SL's content has reached over 300 petabytes in assets, that was I believe 2012 when that was reported, it's been many years that's over 300,000 terabytes, also assets are stored on ll's servers only, LL is not going hand over assets for any packs. So what can you do you ask yourself at this point, opensimulator would be the answer to everything you want, but it will not have SL assets, only assets that are provided freely by a few opensimulator creators.- 110 replies

There are no expansion packs, you are asking content creators go "here, have my products that are freely put on a device" yeah, that will never happen, I run a store, I help with a huge furry community, nobody is going to agree to any kind of packs.- 110 replies

Some advise, verify all of your real information with the lab as is required, if you will not take these steps then you will not be able to cash out. Laws are laws and LL is not going to face regulation and auditing and fines because you feel you do not need to provide information, the day and age of hiding and skipping out is mostly over with online, adapting is what people have to do, it's just how it's going to be.

Support request: Unclear why item was banned
bigmoe Whitfield replied to SatyrBator's topic in Merchants
I remember at one point in time, one could not use the SL name with anything they had offered for sale or services, we had our group renamed because we had SL in the name of the group. -
Land lag & kicked me and my husband out!🤬
bigmoe Whitfield replied to NayNayFaith's topic in General Discussion Forum
server side lag is not a real item anymore that would be noticeable by the viewer. this is restart as others have said. -
is msi GEFORCE GT 1030 2GHD4 LP OCgood for second life?
bigmoe Whitfield replied to ri13's topic in Second Life Viewer
my other pc, which just got it's 550ti back is running a lga775 qx9650 quad core with 8gb ram. it does sl okay. if I throw my 980 into it, it does better. but still. firefox open playing youtube, browsing other sites, just means, I'm eating up the physical ram SL needs. once you get to a certain point, windows starts to swap to the hard disk because there is no more physical ram left to use, so that's where people get lag at, that's where people get performance issues at. Let me point out something about SL, there was once where server performance was affected, but LL has taken great strides to improve upon their hardware and now even have some of the simulators running in the cloud, there is no server side lag present anymore, all lag is viewer side, because of bottlenecks, low ram, horrible cpu's, horrible gpus. There will be a point where, SL will not run on those machines anymore, I hope people are going to be able to improve their systems enough where SL for them is feasible. -
Sellers, You Are Losing Sales Because of Timed Demos
bigmoe Whitfield replied to Jennifer Boyle's topic in Merchants
okay I'm done trying to explain whats in my head to the forum about a demo. I want nothing free of the sort, I want to set it a certain colour the avatar uses, most content creators for fancy bodies have colour huds that they pick the colour out for their demos which does me no good, why buy something if I'm not able to match the colour on the demo first? it ends the sale for the non demo item if I'm not able too. -
Sellers, You Are Losing Sales Because of Timed Demos
bigmoe Whitfield replied to Jennifer Boyle's topic in Merchants
MM often times if I can make adjustments to the colours of the item and such, that would be why, I ask for those permissions. I do not fool with no mod no copy items much. -

If you sell the product copy/mod, the demo needs to be copy/mod, if you include a timer with this, handy dandy notebook of black listed sellers I just you too, pretty simple weeding out certain sellers. -

So I have access now, went across the blake sea, just to see how border crossings were and I had zero delay crossing from one to the other, not even a hiccup like normal. @Linden Lab very nice job! if this is what is to come of it, I can't wait! -
when I can not read it, I use their username, which either has an effect of they reply or they get upset I've used their username, if I CANT read it or type it, what do they want.

How do we access the beta grid?
bigmoe Whitfield replied to bigmoe Whitfield's topic in Second Life Server
and submitted, now I await. knowing when I first did it, it hung onto the market place login cookie, instead of the secondlife.com and forum login... so submitted it for this account, while on the wrong account lol. -
I used to have access, but now, it tells me the password is wrong, so I've tried all the passwords I've had over the years and none of them work. So what's the procedure?
