Maybe you could add an SLURL to your post so people will know where the parcel is? -
LOCUS AMOENUS RIVERFRONT - A CDS Community
Sylvia Tamalyn replied to Tor Karlsvalt's topic in Private Island
The views from this parcel are great! In one direction, you can look up the mountain, all the way to the walled city (you can see it up at the top of the photo here), and in the other direction, across the river, is a pretty fishing village with Tuscan shops and homes. It really is one of the best locations in the CDS regions.- 1 reply

I'm the guilty party who bought this one! I love the view; you can see all the way up the mountain to the city (and as you can see from the photos, the river is pretty, too!). The good news is that there are another parcel or two available along the river in this area, so come on over and have a look. The people here are super friendly, so just contact an Estate Manager or any resident you see wandering around if you have any questions!

The Valley at Neufreistadt -- A CDS Community
Sylvia Tamalyn replied to Tor Karlsvalt's topic in Private Island
What Rosie said! This is a really welcoming community, and unique in its government where all citizens have the right to vote. The Neufreistadt valley is a particularly beautiful and relaxing area with its green hills (snowy in the winter; we have seasons in the CDS!) and gently sloping roads. It's very close to the city itself, where there is much to see and explore. The six regions of the CDS each have their own "personalities", so come have a look and like I did, you may just wind up staying! -

Beautiful pic, Kylie! Congratulations! -
Great pic, Pussycat. I didn't even see the items under the sign because of all the activity and the fires. I'll go back later when it's a bit less crowded now that I see what I missed.

Oh thanks, I will try tweaking that setting! I'd actually like to be able to use the LL viewer more, though until the ability to derender ugly crap is included, I can't really convince myself to use it fulltime. It might make a nice alternative for really laggy occasions, though, if your fix for the fuzzy textures works. :matte-motes-smile:

Oh, huh. I actually use Firestorm 99% of the time, so don't keep up with updates on the LL viewer, though I did try this latest one yesterday. It does load scenes very quickly but on my computer, the textures don't stay rezzed and instead flip in and out of focus, which makes it a crappy viewer for taking photos. So it's back to laggy FS for me for now.

Abuse Reports are being read ?
Sylvia Tamalyn replied to littleharley's topic in General Discussion Forum
First of all, you should remove the person's name from your post. Naming them in this manner is against community guidelines. Secondly, have you blocked/muted this person? If not, why not? Thirdly, it is my experience that ARs do get read. However, residents are not told the results or any action taken, so you are not going to know if or when something has been done. All this assumes that the person is actually griefing and/or violating TOS and this isn't just some resident dispute (LL does not get involved with personal disagreements). -
WTH, this wasnt here before!
Sylvia Tamalyn replied to ZhasjiBrujah's topic in General Discussion Forum
As far as I know, that's not an official LL premium sandbox, so I doubt that your status as a premium member counts. It appears that your avatar is less than 30 days old. I'm not familiar with the object in question, but my guess is that "age guard" ejected you for that reason, or perhaps because your account is not age verified. Best thing to do would be to contact the owner of the sandbox if you can't find the rules elsewhere. -
Second Life Pic of the Day 03/27/2014

Yay! Wonderful, like all of Lo's pics! -
You say you don't mind paying for land, but don't want to pay every month...have you considered paying for a Premium membership? You could go for the annual payment so that you only have to pay once per year, and have a Linden home or 512 sq m land allowance (plus the sign-up bonus and weekly stipend). Just a thought, if your concern is just that you don't want to have to make payments very often.

I bought a gesture similar to the one in this link, and it works great for getting rid of "jazz hands". https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Schoen-Hand-reset-gesture/2115033

I'd submit the ticket under the Technical Questions category, using the sub-category Inventory (un-rezzed) Issues. -
