  1. I saw the thread title and the author, and I have to say it's not what I was hoping thinking it would be.
  2. With all due respect, since you quoted me, I have to say that comment is too long and difficult to read and so I didn't. Sorry.
  3. I was just digging through my box of "vintage" shoes, but don't see anything like that. It was fun remembering all the old stores, though; I used to live in G Field.
  4. I'm intrigued about the boots, because I don't recall anything like that. I do remember everyone wearing Bax, though.
  5. I happen to enjoy seeing really massive disembodied mesh heads taking up half the room as I arrive. It makes for fun photos for the SL feeds.
  6. Thanks for bringing this up! People get to having fun and don't realize the lag is increasing and starting to affect others in the vicinity. Prime example was when half the grid was camped out for days on the east coast of Bellisseria watching the Squishy Pickle come to life. I literally could not walk around inside my house due to the lag caused by way too many avatars in the region. I know it's not intentional; it's just something people don't think about while partying, so a reminder now and then is appreciated.
  7. Cam's point is valid. People judging others for not having decorated their homes have NO idea why the home is not decorated. And it's not their business anyway.
  8. I guarantee that what the others are saying is correct and that the textures are inside the box labelled content creation pack. As I recall, they are in a box inside THAT box. Check your box again, or get a new one from your mailbox.
  9. I do not feel guilty at all. I have eight Premium accounts. I do not have eight new homes. However, the more people say what big meanies those of us are who have two homes, or who play catch and release, or who leave their home empty, or who expect people use the bare minimum of forum courtesy by reading the 100 other threads complaining before they start thread number 101 on the SAME topic... well, it's tempting to start refreshing with all my accounts just to earn my label.
  10. Wouldn't it be just as nice if those same people did not try to make the ones who have a home (or homes) feel guilty, or call them greedy, or any of the other insults that get thrown out there by some people? That is never going to be well-received and I can't imagine why someone would think it would be.
  11. How exactly does someone catching and releasing houses keep you from getting one? More to the point, if you want others to stop the practice, being snide is unlikely to inspire anyone to give up a spare home so you can possibly get it. Kinda makes me want to send some alts in to grab a few more.
  12. There are many threads discussing this already, so you might want to read them to see feedback and thoughts from others.
  13. I don't think LL tosses you a home to get you to stop complaining. lol
  14. I had thought the chickens were long gone, but I saw some within the past year when I was exploring Caledon. Someone had a bunch of them wandering around, and now I'm wondering if you made their coop!
  15. That makes me think of that old show "Touched by an Angel". Except dirtier.
  16. I love Bay City and been part of that community for the past 8 years. It is a good example of what I think Bellisseria citizens hope to have, although a bit less "perfect" since the parcels are, as noted, privately owned. Still, a very fun community with an active residents' group (Bay City Alliance) and good events (including some that benefit RL charities).
  17. Oooh, Amazon? Yaaassss, bring on the crocodiles! (Which reminds me, I love bayou settings.)
  18. I'm confused. You said that part of the problem is people having more than one home, but you also say you have an extra home?
  19. If you can see this video, fast forward to about 2:50. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OT1X2FBf7hw
  20. I am always drawn to areas like Tuscan villages, but I have a feeling we will see something more along the lines of fantasy or maybe steampunk as the next "different" theme.
  21. I'd love for there to be a down and dirty trailer park, and would probably give up my traditional home to get a grungy doublewide. Having everything so perfect and Stepford-ish is going to get boring after a while. It seems like with an entire continent to work with, there could be room for some variety at some point.
