  4. Might want to move this to the Events Forum. just sayin;-)
  5. Kolby Nissondorf wrote: I dont think many people email photos of their Second Life to their friends and family Perhaps this is a first step to getting rid of that feature all together. Snapzilla and Flickr garner many new residents. Snapshots broken is NOT acceptable! ETA this feature has been broken on Magnum and LeTigre since June.

There is literally hundreds of things in my inventory that I did not buy and some photos there that are not and never were my avatar. I would be here all night deleting them. Guess I will have to delete that account?? If you right click and view the properties of say the photos, is Torley the creator?
  7. Nyll Bergbahn wrote: I haven't noticed that but I use V2 beta and Kirstens. However, my gf gave up using 1.23.5 recently because avatars were appearing ruthed more often than usual necessitating a relog to see them rezzed properly. This was a viewer 1.23.5 issue, nothing to do with her computer or the other avatars. Every time she logged in, she'd say I was ruthed, she'd relog and I was fine. After using V1 for 7 years, she eventually and very reluctantly gave it up and switched to Firestorm. Sigh, I was afraid you were going to say that lol ;-)

  9. I have noticed that when new avatars switch from Basic Mode to Advanced they often appeared "ruthed" to me as a result of the switch. Is it me or are others seeing this and what can we do to help? [note I am still using V1.23.5]
  10. /me hugs Dres and offers him a cool and wild Eshi outfit .. seriously, that guy was NWYT [not worth your time] with no sense of drama or compassion he was a loser. Have fun, dress to please you and mind your heart;;-)

Is that what you mean? It's like Alice in Wonderland or something; small, then giant. That's the best I can describe this. No, this is friends who stand on the ground, but their feet are down in the ground by 6" - 18" or so. One of them was more and had her legs sticking out of the ceiling on the floor below. If they sit on a prim then stand they should be fine.
  14. Cerise Sorbet wrote: They are in the library inventory and not really in the individual avatar inventories, the overlay effect is just a viewer display quirk. We can see this with a toggle of the NoinventoryLibrary debug setting followed by a relog. It is not related to direct delivery. So must we leave it set to true forever or will LL move it to the proper place tomorrow? BTW have I told you recently how helpful you always are? Major Kudos all the time! <33

Toysoldier Thor wrote: SO was just told about and I asked several of my friends in SL to confirm .... that for most SL residents they now have a folder in their Lost and Found folder called "ADAM n EVE Female Dancer Avatar BETA". It is filled with 12 plus more folders of entire sets of male and female skin/shapes/clothing from a creator of Damen Gorilla & Sachi Vixen from what I see. The owner of all this content is Alexandria Linden. And its all Full Perm items from all the items I just looked at. WOW!! I hope Damen is aware that LL just gave to most SL residents, an entire line of his product !! Is this part of Direct Delivery? This is the kind of mistake that I would have feared in my warnings about Direct Delivery. Does anyone know? I doubt seriously this has anything to do with DD at all.Seems to be a snafu with Inventory Linden placing something incorrectly. I do wish this would get fixed .. I hate having inventory where I did not put it.:smileywink:

They won't hear the echo, but you will. Yes, generally the person who is causing the echo will not hear it. Also FRAPs or recording with voice on has huge echo potential,

Go here. https://my.secondlife.com/settings/privacy login and set to nobody then save;-) ETA .. might be not a good thing though. You might disappear altogether  it mirrors your in-world profile.
  18. Grid Willing the family will be there with beads on. Let me ask Songbird Sorbet if she would like to do her 60's set. She'll be doing it at our club August 2nd in case anyone wants to sample HippieStock early;-)
  19. Jo Yardley wrote: According to some blogs this whole my.secondlife.com thing should be working from today onwards. And I think it does, but is it any good? So far, no. Hopefully this profiles thingy will be getting a lot better soon or it will be almost useless, for me anyway. What I am looking for was a sort of online facebook on the SL site, what I got is twitter and personally I don't get twitter. my.secondlife.com would be great if: I could send IMs to friends without having to log onto SL I could pay people without having to log onto SL I could send messages and notes to my groups without having to log onto SL I could put events on a group page with a calendar just like in facebook All members of a group could upload photos and comments to a group page just like in facebook In short, right now the profiles don't offer much I will be using a lot. But I hope, nay, I asume they soon will be offering a lot more. Excellent suggestions! I am toying with mine atm.
