  2. Pamela Galli wrote: Kinda wondering whose job it was to test the MP update on all common viewers. Because he did not do his job. Mhm.. maybe it the same person who runs the re-index and empty the carts routine? :smileywink:
  3. Luk Wilber wrote: I don't like playing house. Linden Lab could provide that alternative for those like me, who prefer to run a business. This is just a suggestion: Linden Stores. What do you think? It'is a good alternative? Was there any chance they implement it? There is a Linden Store ..it is the SLMarketplace.:smileywink:

Please let us know if you see any issues. Thanks, Brooke IE gives me Security Errors on possibly the Ad Vendor images? Chrome shows me this: Right now, today! This is making shopper LEAVE the SLM. Update, please?

  6. Rasthalin wrote: Ok, I have already checked my order history. The item I have bought just an hour ago said it was delivered. I checked in game but sadly, it is no where to be found. It is not in my inventory either I do hope it will deliver sometimes, as long as I know it will get to me at a time. Just worries me that it said it was delivered, but isn't in game... Anyone know the issue? I am aware of the other problems people are getting in the Second Life Marketplace at the moment. Drop a notecard with your transaction number details into the Merchants Inventory slot or IM them. Hope this helps.
  7. Always stop before gettong 10 items in your cart. All of my "failed" delivery notices occur on orders having 10 items in the cart. Number Nine, Number Nine:smileywink:
  8. Arwen Serpente wrote: Fixing things like stale carts, providing the basics stats for analysis, insuring reliable delivery, enabling ease of listing and editing of listings for merchants - those are the kind of things I'd like to see in this Marketplace before all sorts of new things get introduced. There should never be Stale Carts in any shopping cart system if daily routines are run. Somebody needs to run the re-index and cart cleanup DAILY. This is SOP for any cart vendor system. Sigh, SLM needs to act like real Internet Merchant Software. At the very least, run it once a week on the slowest day at the slowest time.
  9. ChristyGallagher wrote: I was reading the stuff about creating a store at the Marketplace. And I pressed the accept button at the bottom of the terms page. Well, I now have a store, and I didn't want one. I just wanted to see what the setp was like. Anyone know how to delete it? I don't want to get charged for space when there is nothing in it. There is no charge at this time for having a store on SLM. Do you have a Magic Box with products in it? http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Selling-in-the-Marketplace/ta-p/700193
  10. I share to my blog then from blog to FB which does SLM no favors by a direct link. Wonder if there is a JIRA?

  12. Arwen Serpente wrote: Anybody else seeing this? My marketplace orders have been recording correctly on the SL transactions history on the website - up until about 15 minutes ago. Suddenly, they are appearing like this: Source: Marketplace Linden MKT Transfer Rather than like this: Source: Marketplace Linden MKT2 Item Sale Description: Order #xyz, Item #xyx (customer name) The info is all there in the Marketplace transactions history and the email that comes through, but the transactions history is suddenly borked. Maybe it is an isolated instance, not sure. Thought I would ask if anyone else has seen this... I have not seen this today.
  13. Thought that might be it :smileywink: The other night I thought Xstreet was gone for sure, got a MYSQL not found message. But it still appears to be live.

  15. Lacey Lohner wrote: I followed all the steps required, put my items in the magic box on my land, in my store. I listed all the items as active, included price, description, photos, but when I check my Magic Box status, it tells me all 10 items are "Unassociated Inventory" and there are no items listed as being Active and available for delivery. Why? I see this in your store: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/75549 Are you perhaps looking on Xstreet?
  16. Jacki Silverfall wrote: Hi Argus! I don't know what the difference is between Flexi, Prim and Sculpts (Skirts that is). The skirts in question were Flexi and mod so Jacki will be changing the flexi features :smileywink:

  18. Uninstall the program and walk away. Since you have NPIO status there is nothing else you really need to do.:smileywink: ETA :http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Accounts-overview/ta-p/700019
  19. Yay! Thanks for this. Was it part of the Maintenance run last night?
  20. Jacki Silverfall wrote: Does anyone know the name of those skirts that bounce and spring all over? They're like wearing a rubber band and I'd like to avoid them! Nothing worse then buying a dress only to find it bouncing out of control when you walk. Also I'm running into them more often. /me hopes this isn't a new trend.:smileymad: Jacki Is it flexi or sculpti, Jacki? Flexi can be adjusted but the sculpts are anchored to an attachment point and may not always go with the flow:smileywink:
  21. Suki Hirano wrote: Does anyone know what "flagged for Item Not As Advertised Incorrect Listing Category" means, excluding the incoherent grammar? I have a shoji screen, listed under furniture, and it got flagged and removed for that. So I switched it to furniture -> living room furniture, and once again it got removed for that. I also have a small water fountain, listed under outdoor furniture, and it also got flagged and removed for that. Does anyone know what's going on here, because I can't figure out what other category would these belong in. Thanks. The screen looks like it should be listed like this: General maturity level: Home and Garden » Decor » Dressing and Privacy Screens

Suki Hirano wrote: Claireschen Hesten wrote: i reckon one of your competitors is deliberately flagging your items the more similar items they flag knowing they automatically get unlisted the more sales they will get because of it i don't think your items have ben flagged for a genuine reason Wow items can get taken off just because some random user flags it, without any Lindens approval? So that means I can just go around the marketplace flagging items I don't like? =O I hope you're joking @@ Edit: just checked, not only did my item get unlisted it actually got removed, so I have to type all the description again and sync it. What in the world...?? I think you need to put the fountain here: Category: All categories Home and GardenFountains
  23. I would allow flying in the shopping area and have many tp points in the no-fly zones along with numerous signs that give notecards explaining/promoting the RP areas. In my personal experience, people love to be able to fly anywhere and it is a turnoff not being able to.
