  1. People if you're having delivery failures, please check that you're using Magic Box v 3.0.11. It's been out for nearly 3 years. The old ones may seem to work half the time, but they don't work properly, especially after you make any changes to them. I've helped 3 people in the last month alone that were having problems that turned out to be old boxes, so there must still be a lot around. Have made https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4466. If you have any experience/comment - please add.
  2. Oh also Mickey - i just noticed that the box that delivered to me is called "SL Exchange Magic Box black". The current box (for nearly 3 years) is called "XStreet SL Magic Box v3.0.11" Only the latest version works properly.
  3. Out of curiosity I did some tests: Bought 6 of my own products in one cart at 02:41. Order number: 1289587270 All 6 delivered by 02:42 and payment and email processed by 02:44 All deliveries were from the same magic box. Did a test with 6 of Mickey's products at 03:09 Order #1289588224 3 delivered; 3 haven't and I've had no email. The box that did deliver one was in Dream City (I got called afk and didn't get to see exactly where all 3 deliveries came from). Maybe worth looking for something specific in your product/box configuration? sims/particular boxes/resetting boxes on xstreet?
  4. It was only fixed for one night, Ann, then went back to "normal". But hopefully that was a test, or else something that will prove diagnostic. I did reply to you earlier, but it got deleted in the Petit Soldatian Purges of Feb 2012. And - tada! It's the delay's gone again tonight: February 07, 2012 01:16 am PST 1289585148 [01:17] ArtiZan Magic Box - M1: Xstreet SL - Delivered item 02/07/2012 01:17:27 7a3ca960 Source: Commerce Linden MKT2 Item Sale Description: Order #1289585148, Item #1365597

I do not want to alarm you, but I feel I should bring to your attention that your copyright is being infringed by a company who are selling your art/tapestries as their own!!!! Would you like me to tell Linden Labs about this or will you report it yourself to defend your IP rights? the items in question can be clearly seen with their own watermarks to protect from copying at this site:- http://www.worldwidetapestries.com/tapestry/godspeed.html and http://www.worldwidetapestries.com/tapestry/chenonceau-castle.html just for a couple of examples. LOL.... you really do need to stop putting your foot in your mouth so many times as it just makes you look foolish. And attacking me and my business as you hide your business and the background reason why this topic angers you so much. As for your recent attempt to attack my reputation and business, you were so excited to use my oldest products in my store as a juicy "I GOT YOU" to fling around on the forum..... what you failed to do is realize that the textures on my tapestries are ancient old textures who's copyrights have expired and are deemed PUBLIC DOMAIN. Since you are not aware what that means... it means that the texture has no copyright restrictions anymore .... are you wondering why you are finding many others that use these same textures? The other creator that is using the same texture for whatever he/she is using it for is not violating my copyright since not only is it not mine.... its no ones! Stop being so childish Veronika and focus on the topic. Haha. Priceless. No the tapestries aren't "ancient textures", they're ancient tapestries. And this company has reproduced them on cotton (and yes legally because of their age) . And someone, within the last 75 years (within copyright) and definitely since the advent of colour photography, has taken that photo and has rights to it. Which seems to be the exact some one, wrinkles, shadows and all, that appears on My Toy's product, with....wait for it...SAMPLE... plastered across it in red text, in case, oooh someone might copy it. How are the legs on that high horse? Getting a bit wobbly?
  6. Oh good grief Mickey - please take a pill. Read back and see what's actually *been said* in this thread - everything else is totally from your own imagination. And Toy, you're just doing your usual patently transparent strategy of picking a few words at random from another person's statement and twisting them into something entirely unrecognisable which you can then refute. Really, no one with half a brain falls for this stuff. Your "wwwah they didn't fix *my* Jira" argument is akin to writing ranting letters every week to your member of parliament on some pet topic, and then declaring democracy futile when they fail to bring results. Which wins you... Number...26! 26. JUDGING THE WHOLE BY ONE OF ITS CHARACTERISTICS Example: The sun causes sunburns. Therefore, the planet would be better off without the sun. Honestly, the two of you should get married or something - you could communicate in histrionic non sequiturs all day.
  7. You Are Wrong Because: For your convenience, I have circled the brain malfunction(s) that most closely resemble(s) the one(s) you recently made on the topic of (fill in topic): 1. AMAZINGLY BAD ANALOGY Example: You can train a dog to fetch a stick. Therefore, you can train a potato to dance. 10. ANYTHING YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND IS EASY TO DO Example: If you have the right tools, how hard could it be to generate nuclear fission at home? 19. REACHING BIZARRE CONCLUSIONS WITHOUT ANY INFORMATION Example: The car won’t start. I’m certain the spark plugs have been stolen by rogue clowns.
  8. History would indicate that more problems have been solved by intelligent people quietly working through a problem by collecting and examining evidence and testing rational theories, than by baying mobs waving pitchforks. Yes, you can apply political pressure to give a particular task a higher priority, but that doesn't change the evidence and processing requirements of scientific method.

Also Sassy and Darrius who proverbally banged Linden heads together with their comments in the Jira yesterday. What are we targetting next? Thanks Ziggy And yeah thanks to Sassy for helping publicise it to death and to both SR and Darrius for brainy input and everyone else who contributed useful info.
  10. Mickey Vandeverre wrote: ok, well glad I could help you out with that, by tweeting it all day long and calling attention for you, after it sat there for months. I guess I'll have to manage the shopping cart failures that happening right now as we speak, alone. lol http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lr1bmjWFMK1qjt9wt.gif
  11. It's nothing to do with shopping carts Mickey - this was about all deliveries between 12.30 and 5.30 am every day being delayed by 1-2 hours, regularly, like clockwork. Now they're not.
  12. Ok I don't know what's been done, but it looks like https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4260 might actually be fixed! As of 2am all deliveries seem to be going through in under a minute. /spins too quickly in excitment and falls over
  13. I took "multiple sellers" to mean each "seller" still owns their objects. Otherwise there's just one "seller" who's paying commission to various other parties (since once you own the object, that makes you the seller, regardless of its origin). But I guess we won't really know unless the OP replies
  14. There's a difference between multiple sellers and paying commission to various people. Just stop and think through the perms requirements...
  15. There is one designed for multiple sellers like that - i've seen on MP here - can't think of name though. You need to have a delivery box for each seller communicating with the one vendor; you can't put each person's stuff in the one vendor object (unless they're copy + trans)
  16. Great writeups Pam - thanks. I only had time to give them a quick lookover last night but even from a cursory skim over I picked up the warnings about different prim types gaining/losing LI ratings, and the need to be careful about testing. L2read?
  17. It's a Catch-22 really - we *should* ticket every error - but who has time to do that? So we just clean up the mess ourselves cos it's faster. (sound familiar?

I got ripped of when with Ginko did a bunk, and then walked right into the same thing 5 years later with Apez. I'm not bitter :matte-motes-evil: Aw poor Porky. I know what you need to cheer you up! Some new shoes from Stiletto Moody's 70% cash-back vendors! *ducks and runs*
  19. Knowl Paine wrote: It would be fair to also mention Jira's which have produced Results. The most recent Resident initiated change was this: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/General-Discussion-Forum/You-can-now-remove-unwanted-followers/td-p/1343479 Change is possible. Cool - I had no idea about this. And, actually, just checked that and found i was following 4 people - which is weird cos I've never used the site, apart from going there one to turn on the privacy (ha!) settings.
  20. OK that missing one just came through now - bit over 2 hours late. Other purchases after that came through as usual.
  21. I've currently got one that hasn't arrived for a purchase 12 min ago (box has delivered and I've been paid at that time) - been ok before that. And just FYI - Magic boxes don't send the email - they'll send an IM if you ask them nicely, but the email comes from the website: no-reply@marketplace.secondlife.com
  22. Gift purchases are the highest source of failure on MP in my experience (followed by packed carts). There was some evidence to suggest that if an avi had never made a purchase on the MP it had more trouble looking up their UUID (seems the MP doesn't use the same methods as the rest of us who've been having to script around this for years). Oh also, check that you're entering the old style avi name, not display name.
  23. Here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/ArtiZan-Email-Messenger-lets-you-send-inworld-IMs-from-email/3093584 Simply give it your email address. It will send its address to your email for you to use at any time to send an IM to any avatar. Also sends them your profile link so they can initiate an IM conversation for you to reply to from email. Only accepts mail from addresses you authorise, etc, other good stuff... 24. I'm in a couple of groups that sometimes advertise things like that - Creators Connection and Merchant Resource - if you're logged in you can get the links from my profile. BTW - merchants don't have homes, we have platforms ;p
