You are so good at identifying clothes. First this one, I want to find the two dresses, and also the necklaces, if you can. I have a feeling that I have seen the dress to the left, maybe I even bought it. And the tucked in set to the left. I know it looks like Blubeberry or Addams style, but I have looked at both their Flickr and can not find it. Better quality textures than Blueberry or Addams clothing?? Very fine belt buckle details.

It has totally changed the avatar. Maybe it is no caps or crop tops in what the AI is using as reference for "watercolor"?

And not just that. The cap disappeared, and the hair changed. I also think the head has a slight tilt forward, and the eyes down.

I have been going through a lot of various designers on Flickr, and I must say that I find so much good things that's released in the past. 4 year old outfits from Toksik... yes please, if that store has a sale, I am shopping until I am broke. I only had 2 things from Toksik before. I don't know how I missed those gorgeous dresses. Even without a sale, it will be some purchases made there. I am not shopping Blueberry, Addams and other stores... I have enough jeans and miniskirts for 50 years in SL. I do not have free group slots, so I will not know who's having a sale unless it is announced in Seraphim, or I go to the store myself to see.

It's all a bit confusing now, since a skin do not have to be a "skin", and the tattoo layer has taken the role of the old skins. The majority of skin creators has split up in 1: Faces and 2: Bodies. Some does not like to work with the body, they will concentrate all time on the face. They prefer to spend all their time on it. And the ones who do the opposite, they do not sell much when they make faces, but they make body skins instead. I do not see it as a problem, since I can have one body skin and swap the face. Or keep the face and get another body skin. The neck fixes that you get in a lot of stores, allow you to mix and match even more. You can have a face skin in a tone, and you can use a slightly different tone of body skin, and the neck fix blends it so it work together without an obvious seam in the neck. (Universal neck) In my opinion, is is both cheaper and more versatile in the long run.

I fear that what I want to buy is growing... I do not dare to think about a budget. I saw some "new" stores again, that I really want to buy from.

So you could shop on Monday too. They have not announced anything for 2023 yet. I am sure they announce several days before Friday.

Yeah, it would be nice. Like the Lelutka event last year. I feel we are so spoiled by Lelutka with free heads every X-mas, I will not hope for a new round. But I think Maitreya would have a very positive effect of en event with gifts and sales. I was shopping nails last weekend, without reading much on the poster. My fault. It was no Maitreya hand size included... but all other hands, in addition to Reborn and Legacy... Kupra Kups, GenX, even Slink! 😒 I did a quick count in Bonniebots, and it was over 10 000 Maitreya users inworld at that moment, not all was 5.3, but the older versions to 4. And Slink female avatars, Physique, Hourglass, bundle... roughly 100 stk. A creator prioritize Slink over Maitreya, that was weird. Usually they say they can't rig for every possible body, but drop one that is still #1.

If it is the same hair store I try demos from, they had a only a 30% off sale the last years. But I will maybe buy some hairs. I have so many hairs that is almost similar. I look for something that I haven't seen before. My inventory is flooded with makeup. I am not sure if I will shop, even in a 50% sale. I need to delete some of the stuff I bought when I first discovered weekend sales. I bought way too much, only because it was on sale. Stupid.

We are so close to Black Friday, if LaraX is not out very, very soon, I doubt it will be a lot for X. Only those who got the creator kit for X already can release something as soon as LaraX is out. And I doubt they are many. All the others must apply for a kit so they can rig for LaraX. Maybe more clothes in Christmas sales.

Thanks. It is interesting, it is not so many that want a female head on a male body. But I think those who do, will spend money on their appearance. More than the average SL resident. I have used a neck extender myself, for the super old DollCOCO head that has no neck. So I can use it with a body that can wear other clothes than the special DollCOCO body. I never thought it could be used for a female to male fix. Hmm. I notice that Skell's pictures are 1000 times better than Catwas on the advert. When I saw the new Catwa head in the Catwa Flickr, I thought: "Ughh, that is not me at all". But I became interested enough to pick up a demo now. The first thing I did, was turning off the animations. I prefer Lelutkas more subtle ones. What I like is the mouth, cheekbones, chin, mouth and nose. What makes it a no buy for me is the eyes. I could not get them as I want. I did not spend a lot of time on the shape, and did not use the "new sliders". Maybe they could have made the eye shape better for me. But I was surprised how much I like the rest. The lips is not so protruding, and it looks really good when the mouth is shut. The lips can be thinner and still look good. It can be a good head for those who say other heads is too pouty. A more natural mouth. I noticed that it looks like the neck is for a male body. Has Catwa made a male neck for it? I could not find the option.

I know what you mean, I have a 4 year old head. I try on new head demos, and find nothing I want to use instead.

I have started to look at hair demos. But this year I am trying to buy hair I really, really want. I think I have hair from last year's Black Friday and Christmas sale, that I have not used. I am not sure about clothes... it is so many who sell clothes in the weekend sales. I can't say I have noticed something special. I have set my eyes on a fatpack of jewelry that cost 1100 L. I hope for a sale in that store. New poses from Body Language if it's a sale. Furniture, houses and landscaping? I can not remember if Skye has sales. If that store has a sale, I will buy a lot . Heads and bodies? I demo many heads, but I find no one I like better than my old head. Maybe I will buy the new Lilith head from Lelutka, just for the horns. I don't think I will buy a body. I like Maitreya well enough. But I am going to buy body skins. They are cheap, and if they are 50% off, I am going to buy some fantasy colors. I don't set a limit for how much I will spend... but I will try to think before I buy. What about you? Do you have a plan for shopping?

I like this one. I have edited the eyelids a lot... one of the few things I do not like with Lelutka Lake. It is a fold that will not go away, no matter what kind of eyelix fixes I apply.

I deleted the first picture because I had forgot to take off the demo body skin - and did not see it until after all the editing. 😒 But now I got the right skin on...

I could not find them at all. But since I trust the seller based on previous purchases, I bought the pack of subalpine fir, the mushrooms and ground covers. The land impact of the trees may be too high. The big trees is 7- 10 Li each. They can be sized down and be 3- 4 Li. That's the low as it goes. It is a HUD to toggle between winther and summer. The LOD appear to be okay-ish. When zooming out, the trees do not fall 100% apart, they maintain a tree shape even if details disappear. The firefly effect in the mushrooms is overwhelming, but it is on/off so you do not need to have it on. There are single mushrooms and groups, all are 1 Li each and good LOD. The fallen tree trunks and landscape planes are ok. I would say the mushrooms are the best, the Li is low, some can be linked and stay 1 Li. They can be used in big size for a more unreal look, or smaller for natural look. Maybe one could put sit animations in them. It is only this red color. The trees are so dark, I am actually disappointed. But I know I take a risk when buying, without seeing it inworld. I think I will use the mushrooms, not sure about the rest. I already have lots of fir trees and ground covers. Finally, a closer look at firely effect by day and night. I am happy to see that LL can do things like this. 😃 Tree houses have been mentioned so often, and people has been vocal about that there is only one style of Fantasy - Elven large houses. So this is a case where LL actually listen. I am sure it helped that the Fantasy theme regions has so many empty houses. It is always a waste of money to run unpopulated regions. The first theme way back before Bellisseria, had a Hobbit house, a Wizard tower and two other options. It was more variety. The tree houses is a step in the right direction. To fill up the Fantasy regions 100%, as popular as Victorians, will never happen, unless LL throw in some more options like small thatched cottages, tower ruins and hobbit houses. It is also a very specific beauty, where Hobbits might like a more English countryside feeling. LL went all out with the new enviroment, and created an etheral beauty that is so special that people will visit and admire it, but not live there. But I am positive that the Fantasy regions will see an increase now, maybe to 80% when the Treehouses are the new house to try out. On the downside, it is already said in the thread that people do not upgrade alts... they leave another theme of Premium houses to get a Treehouse. So the increase in Fantasy will come to the cost of abandoned homes in other themes. I suspect that BonnieBots got booted from Bellisseria, because LL did not want all to see how the number of available homes fluxtuate.

Have you checked that you wear the Lelutka eyes that comes with the head? They are an object and have a box symbol, not eyes symbol. Nothing on the HUD will work unless you wear the eyes. Without the Lelutka eyes, the default eyes roll too high up in the head, sit too deep, and does not look good. If the eyes have "weird angles", I wonder if this is the problem. If you have bought eyes that are BoM, 👁️👁️, you still need to wear the Lelutka eyes. You activate BoM in the head HUD under the eyes tab. Click the eye icon to the left on the HUD, and the "Bakes on mesh" text box over the different eye colors you can choose if you do not wish to use BoM.
