This was rigged nails, not appliers. I have bought several set of nails in that store before. I did not see that coming, that a store keep Slink and drop Maitreya. Creators do their stuff, their business, their choice what to rig for. Not much more to say.

If it's no sale for S Club, I might do that. No Match has a lot of hair that's different from the usual Doux/Stealthic hair, but I do not like them as much as I did before. Buy an affordable hair I do not like so much, or pay a lot to get what I want. SL problems. 😆

Looking very fine. If only Genus had EvoX template for the skin.... I think their own template is not going to do them much good.

I am googling "how to paint realistic gold". Maybe I have to make my own Kintsugi layer. Or I can tip off a store like This is Wrong. I really like that effect.

I am spending my money on victorian, steampunk, gothic gowns, coats, frocks, boleros and capes other places then. I have Legacy Perky... but the same stores that don't rig for Maitreya, didn't have that either, only Legacy. Maybe I have to buy Reborn and try to slim those hips. Ha ha, not yet.

I find really expensive things this year. Like S-Club. Their latest hair is 999 for a fatpack! 😱 And I have to buy a fatpack or not buy at all, only the fatpack has special styles and addons that I want. If they are in the sale, I am buying a fantastic "Marie Antoinette" hair. The store can set the price so high, because all the other hairstores do not make special hairs like that. S-Club has no competition on it. And I want hair like that for my period gowns. The price is very high, so if I can get it in a sale, I will pounce on it. Same with a set of jewelry in Fakeicon where I want a fatpack, full price 1100 L. 😩 I know I want it, and they have had sales all the previous years. I can wait 2 weeks.

But I heard that hands and feet will not change from Lara to LaraX, so why drop Maitreya in a pack with nails... but not all the other bodies? If it was only Legacy and Reborn they sold, I would guess that they had too many to rig for, and had to cut down because they were overworked. It was Legacy, Reborn, the new Belleza, Slink, Kupra, and I think even another body, but not Maitreya.

I saw several in the Engine Room without Maitreya - that was really sad because it is not the usual clothing. I like roleplay clothes and period clothes too, not just modern. What really surprised me was that Maitreya wasn't in a nails pack I bought 2 weeks ago. I had shopped there before, so I did not demo. It had all sort of other hand fit, even Slink. Well, it was a weekend offer, so not expensive. I have to watch out for packs without Maitreya now.

Fleur-de-lis came before Lois Vuitton. It's old heraldic charge. I was so sad to find out that the dress I used in 2014 was lost from my inventory. I wrote in the credits: The Spells of Morgaine Gown Set-Antiquity The 2023 dress, the red one, has better textures, I think. But I was looking for a more yellow-orange color like the old dress. 9 years ago:

I spent a lot of time editing the eyelids here in postproc (Krita), because no matter what "closed eyes" layers I try on, it is always a very visible fold. I have Izzie's and Nuve... unless I have a super bright EEP with no shadow, the fold is there. I put on a cracked layer and adjustred the colors.

I suddenly thought: What about hair? 😱 Since it is new rigging... will it affect long hair that is rigged? Hair is rigged to chest and shoulder bones? 😱😵😩 Has it been talk about long hair on Discord or other places? Oh, let us get the new body this weekend! Please... 🙏

Use your time to try on demos. You can also watch videos about how to put together your mesh avatar. https://www.youtube.com/@secondlife/videos This is good information, not just about avatar, but SL in general. Destinations, spotlight, Linden homes.... Scroll down until you come to mesh bodies and heads. The first videos came out 1 year ago. Demos work the same way as the full priced things, you can add on demo skins, demo eyes, demo hair and clothes. Put on and take off things and learn how it works. You will see what body you like best. Make sure you find that body size in stores you like. Not all bodies are well supported.

I am maybe stupid for buying clothes in the upcoming sale, but I have found so much good stuff when I really plunge myself in Flickr. Going from a hair store to clothes, to accessories and back to clothes... I said I will not buy clothes before LaraX clothes come out. It would not be the first or last time I change my mind. I buy this fantastic 3 y old dress. Maybe it will be updated... it has been updated to Reborn and Juicy Rolls. If it isn't updated to LaraX, I haven't lost anything. It would be good to finally find out how much the rigging has been changed. I am really impatient to see it. I do not know if loose clothes like cloaks, capes, coats, boleros, sleeves, cardigans etc etc can be worn on both old and new Lara. It would be a dream, but I can't hope so. I know the shoulder rigging will be changed. If toksik isn't in the sale, I will still buy older things from them, but spread it out over months instead of a weekend. It is so good that I want it, even if it is no update.

This is a stupid question I suppose.... Catwa still has a tattoo layer that cover the whole face? Does the new Catwa head take Omega appliers? It does not sound like that from the advert. Quote: "Any appliers* must be Catwa or Catwa HDPRO". I have a Kintsugi body/face layer I like very much, and it can't be worn with Lelutka heads, since they have no whole face layer, only makeup slots. The Kintsugi layer is updated to both Omega and Bom, but not to EvoX, only SLUV.

I am buying things for Black Friday 😍 I have a few things from Tetra. Then I forgot about them. It is perhaps because Blueberry started in the weekend sales, and I was buying anything and everything in the weekend sales after I discovered Happy Weekend and the Saturday Sale...

Here are a list over stores I want to buy in if they have a 50% sale. Some stores will I have to forget, it is simply too much. Tetra, Toksik, Insomnia Angel, Just Because, Erratic, Yummy, Random Matter, Aisling + Voluptas Virtualis, Fakeicon, Contraption, Mimikri, Stealthic, Wings, Doux, Magika, S-Club, Dura, Avaway, Raven Bell, Dami, Boys to the Bone, B3nto & Gearhead, Kotte, Nefekalum, This is Wrong, Lux Aerna, Cureless, Vae Victis, Aii, ISON. It is stores here I will buy from if they do not have a sale, but it will have to wait until another month.

I am 99.9% sure it will be a Lelutka sale. Their Flickr show they have had it previous years. I found so much good things that are in the "older" class. I do not think 3-5 year old items will be upgraded to LaraX. And so I will shop, it is buy for old Lara or forget it.

Did you ask for it to change so much? Only the face is a bit similar to SL face, but more realistic. And why did it slim you? Give you pink hair? Set you in a different enviroment? Turned your clothes to something cosplay Aladdin style?

After browsing Flickr several days, I found out: I know a FRACTION about Second life fashion. I have bought a lot of junk in weekend sales. Many older (3, 4, 5 years) clothes are better than today's clothes. I am going broke.

Isn't it typical. 5 minutes after I posted, I found that the dress to the left and the jeans set is from Tetra. I still need to know the dapper dress to the right, and the necklaces. I said in another thread that I have enough jeans. But I can let this set replace older clothes with lower quality textures. Just look at the belt. I am in love.
