I was in a store recently that had a big board in the store. Vote for the body you use. This was interesting since Maitreya had such a huge lead over Reborn. In mesh body statistics by bots, it is closer. So it depends where people shop. I do not use squishy and pushy stuff, like Waifu, Juicy and all that. Or bikinis that look like dental floss. That store who had 6000 votes for Maitreya and 2000 for Reborn, should absolutely make both 5.3 and LaraX sizes, to keep Maitreya diehards as customers. I do not think many Waifu and Juicy rolls lovers will use LaraX. But 5.3 users will gradually change to LaraX. No, when stores like Erratic, COCO and ISON rig for LaraX, it will be a great time to shop. (I bought the first pack of ISON sweaters)

Yes, that's suspicious! It is probably no second hand gachas with LaraX sizes.

I do not even have time for SL now, I only look for good offers in Seraphimsl and log in to shop and pay rent. I will only buy things with LaraX included. Unless they can be used with LaraX, and I really want it. I mostly bought capes, cloaks and such stuff for Black Friday. And some special costumes that fit with an alpha layer.

I was very interested in Black Friday, I even made a thread about it. But it was nothing for LaraX in the stores I went to. The first LaraX stuff I saw in Fameshed and Santa Inc. All at full prices. Santa Inc opened Dec 1st. So it wasn't possible to 'get a wardrobe' for LaraX in the Black Friday sales. I am not surprised that few have changed to LaraX. How many people know about it, how many that got a redelivery, how many tried it on and do not wear it because they have only 5.3 clothes, or because they did not like the changes. Many possibilities. It is some for LaraX in the weekend sales already, I shopped from Meva and some other places. People will find out and be curious whan they see LaraX included when they shop.

The Picasso Babe skin must be Porcelain, it says SLIM/ICY. This is why it start to redden above the collarbone. Porcelain is a warmer tone than Icy.

It's late in my part of the world, and I am going to bed, but I am wondering: Is it a way to kill autohide in 5.3 clothing? 99,99% of clothes is no modify, so the script can not be ripped out. But is it a script we can wear attached in an invisible prim, that reset the alpha cuts and set all to visible when we wear 5.3 clothes? I know I can open the HUD and toggle all alpha cuts, but it would be neat if this happened "by itself".

I tried on a set of prosthetic legs, and they still fit to LaraX. They end mid thigh. A lot of my Azoury foorwear go only to the ankle or to the knee, that will not be a problem at all. (I bought the Happy Weekend boots for LaraX) 😁

I'm not interested in Harry Potter roleplay, but without the robe, this is a good schoolgirl outfit. The tie comes in 4 different colors, it is no house badge on the sweater, only on the robe. Comes with different alpha layers and a Hud for badges, ties, socks on/off. When I saw this came in separate parts, I had to buy it. I can use the parts with other clothes. The pleated skirt fit with many sweaters. The socks can be turned off, and I have wished to buy shoes like this a long time!! So for me, it was worth buying for the shoes alone. It's a demo. I was really disappointed with this choker from Orsini Jewelry. It had no demo, but I had shopped in the store before. It is rigged, and the fit for LaraX and Lara is bad, worse for LaraX. I tried the other sizes, to see if it was named wrong. I can maybe use the Reborn size, it is a tiny clipping compared to this.

Now that LaraX hits the weekend sales, my inventory will be filled up quickly enough for a low cost. 😁 It is much the same as with Lelutka EvoX. I was very "Noooo, I have so much makeup and hairbases, I can never change to EvoX". And then EvoX was everywhere, and in sales too.

Brabos has some skins that's not suuuper pretty. With the add-ons from Izzie's and salt'n pepper beard, I managed to get a look I'm happy with. Mature, but not so old that he looks ancient. The skin under was on sale last weekend. I bought it after testing with layers.

I have not seen much I will buy so far... but if my favorite creators update older stuff, I will buy it.

I bought the Lilith head from Lelutka. I almost forgot that one. I have not bought a head there since I bought Lake. And that is a long time ago. I am so happy with Lake, all other heads I have demo'ed did not interest me, but I could not resist the horns. Finally I could pay back some, as a thank you for all my alts free heads. And without the horns and a human skin, Lilith is really pretty. I think I get a totally different skin to wear with it. Different from the fair skinned European look. Maybe an asian skin. I really went over the top and shopped in Raven bell and Random Matter, since Aisling did not have a sale. Jewelry, hoods, a cloak and hats. If Contraption was in the sale.... wow, it would have been some hat shopping there. I checked Fakeicon's store every day... I hope it is a Christmas sale instead. Same for Toksik. I can make some fantasy looks now, when I have time.

I didn't buy as much for myself as I thought - because I did not know that LaraX has different alpha cuts, so all 5.3 clothes need new alpha layers or cuts. It is too much hassle. And some stores I really wished had a sale, did not have a sale. I dropped stores that had only 20% off, and stores that had only fatpack sales. But I got some big jewelry, a crown, a fan, multiple cloaks, hoods and hats. And some special clothes that fitted LaraX better than most, and 2 hairs. I have so much hair already, and new releases look similar to hairs I already have. I sent a couple male alts over to Deadwool so the poor darlings got a fine suit each. And a bit casual clothes shopping for the guys as well. I shopped enough, I think.

You are sure that you are wearing your mesh body? You did not take it off? Do you know how to take a snapshot of your avatar and "Save to my computer"? It is more easy to help you if we can see what is going on. Click on the T-shirt icon and then "Wearing". Take off unecessary items so you are sure all you are wearing show up. Sometimes I have on so many layers and attachments that I have to scroll up and down in the "Wearing" window. Click the camera icon and then "Show interface". Find "Save to disc". In Firestorm, you have to click on "Selection" first. Take your picture. Find it in your computer. If you know how to crop it in a program like Paint 3D, you can crop off the line that show location and other things. (I did it) Or find a pencil tool and paint over it. Whops. Second life default viewer pushed me to install Second Life Release 6.6.17.6935629493 (64bit) when I tried to open Second Life now. I did not know how to stop it. But when I logged in the same alt, I saw no difference on the official viewer. So it does not affect all who is on that version. Or LL already fixed the bug. Who knows. Me and my alt log in from the same place, of course. Can this be different from 2 users logging in at two different locations?

And Maitreya had/has hair too. With updated hair textures, I would buy the Siobhan hair again. That hat texture and shape is just great. The hair textures could be a bit bit better, more like Magika or Stealthic... Not bad for an 11 year old hairstyle!!

It must be the Vintage jeans, sold by Maitreya. They are the only Maitreya clothes updated so far. Maitreya should really make more clothes.

When Maitreya Lara came out, a lot of the standard sized clothes was updated to Lara for free. Not all, and it took several months. But free. I even got the Shearling boots by posting a polite notecard to her. I bought the original sculpted ones in december 2010, and it wasn't in the redelivery terminal. That is service, ladies! I have a lot of bodies, but not the newer ones. I bought Belleza too, but dropped it when it took so long to fix some issues. I loved the GenX Classic, but the price pushed me away. Belleza run sales so often now, in hope to get more to buy it. If GenX had started with a price in Maitreya price range, (and maybe a 1000 refund to previous customers), I would have bought it. I think I posted that it was prettier than Lara, but I would wait and see how much content that was made for it. Now it is too late, Lara is fixed and I do not need a better body.

I have heard that creators complain about the rigging. The information we got now, was that the rigging ifor LaraX s changed, so it is easier to rig for. I can understand that. And if the difference is really big, maybe many creators will drop Lara. Maybe a creator with the new dev kit can comment on the rigging? Is it much better now? @Salt Peppermintyou are a creator?

I don't know if it is a viewer issue. I am logged in (female) on Firestorm and my alt (male) on the official viewer, freshly installed. The hand size is the same in both viewers. I took the picture with the official viewer. Sure, I do not have big hands, but they are not as small as in the original poster's image.

Armpits! That is really the thing for me. I also saw an improvement just where the shoulders meet the neck. It was a smoother curve instead of a flat plane. LaraX will be my beach body and lingerie body. Also the body for dresses/tops that show the shoulders. The changes in alpha cuts was a surprise. It makes it harder to use 5.3 clothes over LaraX, since wrong parts get alpha'ed out. I can still use almost all clothes I have over LaraX, but to change the alpha cut for everything is going to be a hassle.

Was it you, @Rowan Amore who had the link to a HUD where we could make new alpha layers? I was stupid, and did not put it in favorites on the Marketplace. I forget to do that all the time, and have a hard time finding it again. I think I do not need hundreds of layers. Many will cover the same areas.
