I think people who want a very curvy avatar had left Maitreya long before LaraX and got Reborn. Those who stayed with Maitreya, do not want that Reborn look. They did not ask for the new body. Maybe they feel a bit frustrated when they see some creators drop Lara 5.3. It may not be so easy for them, to slim down the X body and get it as they want. I can easy adjust the body and love the improved neck and the other areas. The improvements is worth it for me. Those who got Reborn already, I doubt many will drop it and use X. Reborn has all those add-ons that they can't use with LaraX. As I see LaraX, she is a medium size body. For those who want to be slim, but not look starved. It suits me well. According to BonnieBots, LaraX is not rising fast. It was a jump up to 1000 bodies in use, and it is not increasing. Going down a bit, maybe 100-200 people were trying it on and put it away.

The heads are looking good! But I am not sure if I want to spend time learning a new HUD, especially if some alts has it and some not. It will be minutes of confusion, trying to remember how it works, when I log in an alt I haven't used in a while, and want to change things. Did you say you needed to buy face animations? And how is it with HD makeup, and appliers for eyelashes? Does it work with Lel appliers? If I did not have so many free Lelutka heads, I would be exited and get these heads. I am not sure if I should pick them up, if they aren't going to be used.

I made a new "9 heads" shape that is not based on the realistic 7.5 heads shape. I made the shape deliberatly longer and thinner. I could still be much slimmer, but I stopped here. (The ruler is there to show how many heads the shape is, not that I am 9 m tall. I am 1,85 m tall) It is a versatile body, I think. It goes easy between slim and curvy, it can be both.

People do not need to complain, it is still tons of group gift skins, and more very cheap skins in the weekend sales. But it's peoples nature, to complain. The best is to turn off group chat if it becomes obnoxious.

I remember the female Signature body, it never took off. The failed Cinnamon & Chai. The Gen X Belleza. Is it more? I can not say I have seen dozens. The last two ones came out with an exaggerated price. The market is pretty much covered in natural slim and very curvy bodies. One can simply not release new bodies copying that. To succeed? It would have to be an eccentric RL millionaire who can pay a team of designers to make a perfect body, pay all the big SL brands to create for the body, get a region to hold big events for the body in, and then give away the body for free. I think it is so much competition, it is too late to have another body that look almost the same as all other bodies, and earn money on it. Maybe a very thin body, ready to take advantage of offering something new and totally opposite of the SL trend could be the only thing different. And I mean stick thin. Totally no hips, and not possible to make hips, boobs and butt on it. The prepubescent boy shape. Thinner than what can be made with the thin bodies on the market now. Because what is popular goes up and down? When the majority wear Reborn with Juicy, Maze and Rolls, it is going to be the common look. So much is hips, boobs and butt now. Maybe people get tired and say "I need something different!" And then it is stick figures that is the new thing people want. I will not like to see such a body, but when it comes to stand out, it is maybe all that is left.

I have modified the Alaskametro shirts too. That they say "no modify" must refer to the applier version, the scripts. I always use BOM now.

You can still use the list over 12 days of Christmas and teleport around. Some sellers may have been busy in RL too, and did not have time to take down the gift. Stealthic hair has a 50L Friday hair, but the Christmas gift hair is still there. The owner or a representative for Stealthic hair must have logged in on Friday, but they left the gift up. This is nice since those really busy before Christmas can pick it up now. Some may put the gift in the section with their ordinary group gifts. Not Found (Faye and Jack is from last year) and Amara Beauty did this last year. (And probably others too) I found lots of other group skins when I was going around. Using Firestorm's area search helps a lot. I almost did not visit MILA store, because they had eyemakeup as a gift, and I did not like it. But then I searched and found the group gifts, they have 2 lovely skins and two more gifts, Some stores had their group gifts next to the 12 days of Christmas gift, others you had to use Area Search to find. It is makeups as well. Jack Spoon has a whole wall of them, inside and to the left of the door. Top1 also has makeup inside the store. FUOEY has a male skin gift they had before this giveaway, I liked it more that the 12 days of Christmas. You may find it is still there. I am not logged in so I do not remember everything. The groups may cost money to join now. But I am 99% sure that Not Found and Amara Beauty was free before 12 Days of Christmas.

I should not post this evening, I am not seeing the right things! ... the face skin named "Romeo", I mistook it for a body skin since he was wearing the default Lelutka face skin. I should go to bed. Most skin creators have opted to keep a ‘separate head and body’ option. This so they do not have to waste time on making a whole skin in all the different tones and for all the different bodies, every time they will make a new face skin. The body skins are not so expensive. I do not remember the price last time I bought something in Not Found, but I mean it was under 500L. I am trying to help, but only confusing the poor man. 😪 I log off now, go to sleep and let you who have a clear head continue to help....

You have done it right if you have activated BOM. If you use the skin from the body HUD, that skin will overrule the Not Found skin. I found my Legacy body, in it is a notecard named Local Chat Commands. You open it and type in local chat /1meshbody bom on This turn your body invisible? Take off the alpha body layer, the one that start with + ALPHA... I hope I get it right now. I have been baking for hours and have an overdose of sugar from tasting...

A-ha well spotted. I saw the Lelutka head skin and missed the "Romeo" skin. Yes, then we found the problem. Wear the Not Found body skin, take off Face and Ears lel EvoX. Sorry for confusing you, JoeDouglas!

PS, I assume the skin for Legazy has the same content as the Belleza skin pack I have. I have male avatars too, that's why I am in a male head and body.

Eyes first, have you activated Bom? I draw "1" to show where it is. If this is not activated, you have double eyes. This might be the issue. Try to toggle Bakes on Mesh on and off, see if it is a difference. For skin, the EvoX head skins is made to fade out and blend with similar body skins. I wear a darker head skin here. You can see how it is no hard neck line, but the skin continue a bit down to the collarbone. (2) Open your Not Found body skin folder and wear the skin, with a figure symbol, not the tattoo symbol. The tattoo is the squiggly pink one. Take off every other Not Found layer. Then take off and wear the Lelutka skin layer again (3). See if it helps?

I don't care if we get free updates or not, I am going to buy the pantyhoses and stockings again. Gimme! I have a lot of Erratic, but it is not so new. Much is from when Erratic rigged for Maitreya only. If Erratic updates their 2022-2023 stock, it is going to be some sweet shopping.

And those shiny pants again! 😒 I hope ISON has some normal pants soon. Waiting for Erratic and COCO--- I saw Erratic has started, but only a jacket. I dislike cropped items. So I let that one pass.

If you are willing to change skin, I like to have a Fuoey skin or Brabos skin. It is not so easy to get the look I want with only wrinkles from Izzie's. When you have a young skin and try to age it with Izzie... I mean that Izzie's age a skin from 25 to 35, not more. Fuoey has great skin texture. Well, I think it is great. Not sure if all like the slightly uneven skin. This is their free skin. The Brabos skin is bought in a previous weekend sale, so it did not cost much. Brabos is in a sale almost every week. Here I added Izzie's wrinkles. The Fuoey skin (over) has that uneven skintone that clash with the skin in Izzie's.

Jake is a good body for avatars who change their style. With Jake, you can be cyberpunk on Thursday, latex and harness on Friday, pinstripe suit on Saturday, full steampunk on Sunday, street wear on Monday, casual conservative in khaki on Tuesday and full floorlength gown on Wednesday. You can be all that with Legacy, but Jake is lower in price and complexity. To select a male body, demo both and see if you hate Jake so much that you must have Legacy instead. If Legacy could fix the glitch, ditch their weird HUD (Seriously, whyyyyy?) and lower the complexity (A lot), I would buy Legacy in a sale. Until then, Jake it is. Signature Gianni is too muscular for me, but some love that. But I am female in RL. I have a feeling that those who are male in RL like big deltoids and arms. Of course that is very sterotypical thinking on my side. If a guy ask for advice and I tell him about the different bodies and he choose Signature Gianni, I am sure he is male RL. Again, just me speaking, and my opinion. Legacy Athlethic is also a body I think a "male in RL" could want. ----- And I want to give Meshbody Classic a bit love, genious for the low budget and where a small inventory is perfectly serviceable. It takes some time and effort, searching the Marketplace and stores who has not retired all their clothes from previous years. Last time I sent an alt in Cold Ash, he found they had some in the back of the store. And the quality of Cold Ash clothes from several years back, is better than much of what you find today. For suits, all they need is that they fit around the neck and the hands, the rest is hidden in an alpha layer. Honestly, I would take this 1L body instead of LL starter mesh avatar. Of course you do not find new clothes for it... so it is not an answer to "most supported" body. Mea culpa.

... I have to admit that I think Legacy is the best body visually, but it is no parts of Jake that I hate. So my alts ended up with Jake. For the price, and other things like the complexity.

Yes, every purchase in SL is bought with the hope that the creator does not leave SL. If people bought Slink and belived it would be around for ever.... We should buy bodies in SL because we love it, and if it is enough content made for it for our purpose. I can even find clothes for the TMP body, that is named Classic Meshbody now. A suit, a few pants, shoes, shirts, sweater, bathing shorts and jacket. I want more for my alts, but if I should have an avatar just for business, a small wardrobe like that would do.

I will probably trash both the skins from Purple, this one because of the smokers mouth lines. Isn't that when you chain smoke for years and get these lines? I have some wrinkles around the eyes, but my overlip is smooth like when I was a babe.

Jake has some interesting male items too. Like corsets, boys tip-toes (By Maze) and belly add-on. Some want more than the usual jeans and suits, and I think no other male body has that amount of special apparel.

A new Belleza male body could come next year, the year after that or maybe in five years.... And Belleza could mess up by overpricing it. The new female GenX was more or less shot dead before it could start, because it was overpriced. It is picking up speed now, but slowly. Persephone is right, you get more sizes in the pack when you shop. Maybe a few stores rig for only one body, it is very rare. But in general, you get Jake + Legacy, or Jake + Legacy + Gianni. And some of the other bodies, but not as often as the three popular bodies. So if you buy Jake now, you decide you want Legacy and buy it, you have a wardrobe already, with the apparel you bought for Jake.

I second what Ayashe said. Jake is also very affordable, only 1500L.

I like void water just so I can look at it and have a lighthouse and off land dolphins that can swim in the void. I can not put a thing out in the protected Linden waterways. 2 X void water to south and west, no one can build there. 🥰
