    In the early days of SL when it was all so truly amazing and wonderous, I'm sure I am not the only one who was told about a "beautiful farm where you could feed the animals, ride them around, brush their coats" and actually do RL farm chores. And you were like " oh wow cool i'd love to go there sometime" *accepts LM. Then one day you're a bit tired of making clothes etc, (and this was after adult regions went away or whatever happened with them) and *ding OMG the beautiful farm! I'm going there now..... rezz... ^~ rezz... 👀 rezz... 🥴 rezz.. 😵 rezz..😲 rezz.. 😬 rezz..🤢 rezz..🤮 rezz..🤬 Message LM giver... yooouuuu sicko, thats disgusting!. Wth are you playing at!? And after all this time I concluded it was quite a popular prank for a lot of people to play on others. I didn't realize the end implications of it all for metaverses etc now it's 2022. I also did not imagine some people might "spend a bit of time there".

    I grew up visiting relatives farms in very remote areas and was trained to handle guns, (only while at the farms), from 11yo onwards. I was given the choice and I accepted. Being from the city, the lifestyle comparison was amazing. I also learnt to drive cars, tractors and motorbikes. In some cases I could only drive the vehicles, (big tractors), in first gear because I didn't have the strength or body weight to work the clutch pedal. 😂 I viewed all of this as an incredible opportunity as I had to pull my weight and earn my keep while staying for the entire school holiday break. Consequently, I am not frightened of guns. I am frightened of the idiots that somehow gain access to them for no valid reason.

    No you are remembering correctly Real world, genuine ID (supposedly) was required to become age verified. I know this because I was never age verified and used to be frightened I would get kicked out of SL or something. (and couldn't go to any adult places which was ok because I spent all my time making clothes).

    My mother ❤️ received clearance from top surgeons, (one a beloved relative), to begin a series of critical operations which will clear the path for her to, (hopefully), reach the age of 100 years. Bright as a button and sharp as a tack, she has our permission to shuffle off after reaching the age of 100. 😊 We still have far too much fun & love up our sleeves for her to depart any earlier. 🥰 Reap elsewhere cloaked one. 🖕

    I hold state & national child protection certification in my country and have done for over 11 years. I was too caught up in some of the humour leading from the top of the page so I overlooked the: "Age verification should not be simple. It should be as difficult as possible to prevent children from being exploited and recruited into virtual sex trafficking by virtual sex trafficking recruiters. We know they are in world. I would like to know how Linden Lab will handle this" statement. I am truly mortified. If one WAS concerned about such a thing, they would report it IMMEDIATELY to the highest legal authority and not make the claim on a public forum. As a matter of fact I would report it and not even tell anyone else if I knew this to be true. Genuine child protection advocates DO NOT grandstand and DO NOT need plaudits from the public.

    SL creation is a playground, a primer for the knock down, drag-out world of RL e-commerce. Survival of the fittest & smartest. Smartest meaning the most devoted to quality/product longevity and being able to prove it.. Fittest meaning prepared to tackle armies of low paid workers head on with technology and innovation. (with respect to mother earth and nature). Precisely why I gave up creating for SL. The tech I needed {mesh} was not available at the time.

    Furzona vid may appeal to the Neko crowd, but average peeps are just gonna go eeeew? wtf?🙄. Combined with typo in end credits, (forever as two words was it?), makes it all rather average unfortunately. SL could already do it so much better. Come on LL step up with dance vid competitions or something. 🤔 Ps: May as well change my system name to M -> ECHO echo echo echo <-. Been saying pretty much this same thing for a pixel lifetime. 🤨 BPM/dance synch is THE winner. In advertising as well.
