  1. *Bump* reducing to 500L & taking up most objects so the actual parcel can be seen better.- abandoning tonight if no takes it.
  2. *Bump* reduced to 999L. It's on Sansara, part of the 'atomic regions'. I'm stressing about being in a higher tier so I'm abandoning it by tomorrow if no one buys it.
  3. Quiet, very sweet neighborhood, I just got overzealous and picked up too much land. Fun area to explore! https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Promethium/69/208/84/ 800m rectangular parcel, 274Li Asking 1500L but open to offers. Thanks for checking it out!
  4. I'd be psyched for this! I love the Rhododendrons and I once caught a log home with a dogwood out front that was so pretty! Also yes, the rocks. Such a good idea.
  5. Gorgeous! That round hottub- awesome- where's that from? The whole place feels very serene.
  6. I'm getting so much inspiration & copy-catting left and right. (Someone once said that creativity is selective copying-if so, I'm creative AF as the kids say). Anyway, I've played around with the Bradbury for awhile and I think it's too big for me but it was fun to work with. I think I'll give the Denver a try next. Flickr link to more.
  7. They had a nice fence set in the weekend sales that works great with Newbrooke homes.
  8. Maya's Architecture has some super budget friendly furnished homes (some only 50linden, most under 100)that are mod and copy and many of her plants and trees are T-spot and other good quality creators. If someone has the time to mess about rezzing them in a sandbox, unlinking, and organizing, it's a great resource for landscaping, furniture, decor, and architectural pieces.
  9. This is so gorgeous! I hate to bombard people with 'where'd you get the...", but where did you get the square accents?
  10. I used the THS sphere water feature- it has a great sound. I made a courtyard in that middle space with the five windows & centered it there. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/THS-SPHERE-WATER-FEATURE-NATURAL-STONE-Sphere-fountain-ball-fountain-globe-fountain/21839556 I hope MP links are allowed- I never remember rules as well as I should. Someone yell at me if they aren't & I'll delete it.
  11. Thank you for doing this! I'm a few houses over and while I was exploring I stood outside your place like a crazed stalker for ages just admiring your work and right clicking everything! Absolutely gorgeous and inspiring.
  12. I'm so glad I moved out of my log last night- I got one but I'm at work! Can't wait to get home and see it.
  13. Yasss. Took photos of my log this morning. I'm so ready to try out the new theme.
  14. I knew you were just teasing Our mountains are admittedly not the tallest, but you're right, they're beautiful. I've met a few people from my area and I always wondered if I've seen them in rl.
  15. We do too!! We're in the middle of the Blue Ridge. We even have one that looks like an old man- Grandfather Mountain. It's all of not quite 6000' tall. It's our tallest mountain. lol. Helen is a nice little town. I've lived about an hour away from it for years. I'm lowkey wondering if I've seen Patch in person and never knew!
  16. Me too. Did I have a vision of exactly the type of modern I would love to have? Yes. But I don't have the energy or the budget to make that happen for myself. I've played with decorating every theme so far and had fun with all of them.
  17. Water AND modern, made me think of Fallingwater house. It's my absolute dream home. https://fallingwater.org/
  18. I've seen several people comment about trainspotting in other threads. Are there any 'official' trains running or is it just us when we take a notion?
  19. My favorite profile quote ever was 'I'm here because I'm not all there.'
  20. I had a whole day off :(. I might panic.
  21. I keep a room at the Chelsea Hotel. It's pretty active with music and live poetry readings if you're into that.
  22. I love the blog and I'm psyched for the video! I've been telling people in the sl subreddit about Belli and this is an awesome showcase to link them to. It really made my day to see my lil houseboat on the flickr.
  23. Although you Although you can't actually purchase anything from them, many residents have turned their homes into shops and cafes. There's a list of them in the notices in the Bellessaria citizens group. People gather at them and give a heads up in the group. There are also random parties at residents homes that get announced in the group. And there's the passports you get through the BBB (Bellessaria Bureau of Bureauracy) you can get stamps at various locations and at special events- it's pretty neat. The Bellessaria Travel club has a nice headquarters with free vehicles and their own group that meets to explore. Aside from the resident owned spots, there are some Linden built pubs and 'resorts'.
  24. You may be right about the East Coast- that's my time zone and I've had decent luck with neighbors and excellent luck with the Belli Citizens group. I'm keeping my Bellissaria house because I love it, but I recently got nostalgic for 'the old sl' and rented a place at the Chelsea Hotel. There were a couple of people at a gallery, one in Demimonde (furniture shop) and I met a lovely person who came over and we sat at my lil table, had coffee and a chat and became fast friends. It was lovely so now I have an apartment in the city AND a home in the burbs. You're also right about the socializing- I spend way more time decorating and putting together outfits or trying to learn building techniques than I ever did going anywhere.
  25. I'm using the Genus Strong head and it does. The option is on the cosmetics tab, just above the opacity layer control.
