Not sure. The land prices are getting too high for most folks I think. I know I always convert back to US$ before considering a parcel to buy and my appetite to go much past 10–15K has greatly diminished in the past year or so. Now, oddly enough, just last month I had a reasonably well known land seller offer me 100,000L for my Blake accessible 1/4 sim which I thought was nuts. I told them no, and they promised to up their offer. To me that's silly. That's $400 or the price in RL of a small car repair bill. But what struck me was how much they wanted it which is tempting, but then I noticed I can't get anything near as nice with the same sort of water access anywhere else for anything less than what he wants. They're trying to flip it and make 50K+. Decent land prices are insane, and do not get me started on the 1024 with the double prims. Asking/expecting/getting those prices indicates a severe head injury to me. This all said ... I still see lots of cute little 1024s though in the Mainland Sales forum for under 5K that do seem nice for someone looking for a basic parcel.

Heck, just wait until two of my favourite fashion-forward designers Ecru and Mimikri start doing their amazing design work for Lara X. Then you'll see runway looks.

Glitzz, amias, ValentinaE, ISON, Neve, Seniha, MALified, Addams, Dead Doll, Bauhaus, Belzebubble, Candy Kitten, Just Because, Gawk!, Ysoral, Forge, Avec Toi, etc all have stuff out right now for X ... the well known places are working hard on creating for Lara X and Petite X, and I'm expecting quite a bit to fall into our laps between now and the end of the year. Uber event alone has at least 6 designers from well known brands with things for X. One nice thing? I'm almost always seeing X and Petite X being offered, where as previously Petite got far less support. One thing I'd love to see? A LaraX exclusive event. bring 50+ creators all together in one place. That would seriously rock.

I'm okay with my favourite housing designer (Scarlet Creative) noting very clearly in her ads that the furniture, decor, plants etc are not part of the house sale, but yes, I find with clothing and skins there's a ton of Photoshopping done and that really is annoying. As someone who has been using Adobe products since they were in beta (yes, I am old) I'd like to say to creators ... stop it, or make it very clear an image has been manipulated.

Never bought the Vintage ones, I went with the Biker ones, can't wait until those are updated. Those are my go-to jeans, though I have a HH pair I like as well.

Welcome to SL! Is there anything you'd like to do in world specifically? Are you looking for role playing in SL? Enjoy music and clubs? Are you looking to hang out with a specific demographic or type of person? The more you share about your interests and what you want in SL, the easier it will be to find friends.

I have noticed a few of mine have as well, but I'm on the side of "that's okay" going forward. I applaud that move. There are literally tens of thousands of outfits available for Lara, and at the best stores several hundred. I have not met anyone who can afford every single clothing item at any major store, and I'd like to meet anyone who has bought everything for Lara 5.3 at even some of the minor retailers like Seniha, Candy Kitten, Lunar, Ricielli, erratic, Ecru, Neve, Just Because, COCO, amias, Dead Doll etc. My own thinking (and not everyone will agree) is that there is plenty of clothing for 5.3 to last years more in SL without exhausting your wardrobe choices. Plus, you might even see the 5.3 stuff becoming cheaper in stores as Lara X gain momentum, just for the long tail sales profits for the creators. And if rigging for the new X is much easier, fashion comes even faster and more petite support, both pluses. Sorry @Annie Nova I don't think I answered your question at the end there. How many more creators? Probably most of them, given that rigging for Lara X is easier, which saves them time, effort, and struggle, and results in more clothing easier for a better ROI on their time.

My preference as well. Add it, click a HUD that's branded but has a few words like "Click me" or body choices, have it indicate when the stuff is in my inventory, and then to detach said HUD.

Exactly this. I pay US$60 / month for my 1/4 mainland sim tier connected to Blake and get 5600+ LI. I am also Premium Plus and could get a homestead and would like to for privacy, but as you noted that would be less LI and more $ per month. If LL offered a 10,000 LI homestead at $149 then I might be more tempted. Hence, mainland.

Up close with Lara X ...

I was totally in the same camp for a while @kali Wylder then lengthened my hips quite a bit and got rid of the butt issue, and the rest mostly fell into place using ta standard 8:1 artist ratio proportions. I was helped by many folks on the thread here, but the gist of it is small hip length = squished up bubble butt, longer hips, leaner tush. Keep fiddling, I'm really happy now with it.
