  1. /me thinks your boots are looking more in need of lick polishing than Scylla's right now :::purrs:::
  2. Arsingmongle just hit my vocab list. My friend Storm is going to hear about this, she's teaching me all of these good English terms and left this one out.
  3. LOL. I like your turns of phrases. That'll help in readings (seriously). And while I understand the trepidation of doing this in public, you've done so well! And I haven't seen any of the "real" tarot readers saying anything else to you. Take that and hug it.
  4. The clubs and groups that want to use Discord, I guess I understand it but it makes me scratch until I bleed. Soooooo much blather, in so many subchats. No. Bleck. No. However, I do currently use Discord as a way of keeping in touch with a couple of SL people outside of SL. I've also used is for voice while in SL because I swear, SL voice tends to be borked for me more often than it isn't. Also with Discord running in the background for voice, I can more easily share links and screen clips than I can via SL. I do like the one-stop place for customer service. I've watched/used it mainly for Genus and for Black Dragon. For the music club I like? It makes me want to hurl.
  5. I've had some serious wtf PMs via the forums (and yeah, they usually end in me hitting the old block function), but I have to say I've never had anyone question my confusion.
  6. Don't Panic is a phrase on the cover of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.[4] The novel explains that this was partly because the device "looked insanely complicated" to operate, and partly to keep intergalactic travellers from panicking.[49] "It is said that despite its many glaring (and occasionally fatal) inaccuracies, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy itself has outsold the Encyclopedia Galactica because it is slightly cheaper, and because it has the words 'DON'T PANIC' in large, friendly letters on the cover."[4] I'm not panicking. I don't have a pony in this race. But if I did...
  7. Drinking after paying bills. Redoing my real life blog because I want to get back to that. I have a community there, and they are great, and there's no need to block anyone (yet). Signed up for a writing course from Wesleyan via Coursera so maybe I'll have something to post on said blog. Refilling my drink. I will probably stumble into SL later, because drinking = SL for me, if I can.
  8. It would be if I had a region! I think I'd be the last one on that cloud, as the lights in the office were growing dim and various Lindens shouting to ffs migrate that damn region, we want dinner!
  9. Not all that uplifting to read though. I love the "if you want your region lifted..." instructions followed by "if you do, prepare for it to be borked and we won't fix it for days" (paraphrased). "Regions that are migrated to the cloud may experience degraded performance or behave incorrectly...Due to the rapid speed of our Uplift efforts, we are unable to guarantee that regions in the cloud that are behaving incorrectly will be moved immediately back to our existing hosts."
  10. Go to the marketplace and do a search. You'll come up with a bazillion hits.
  11. There's a bipolar kitty group? /Me so needs to sign up!
  12. Thanks for letting us know. It is always nice when we hear a "resolved" instead of wondering if the problem ever got fixed.
  13. It isn't just the short-shorts, it is 99% of the clothing out there. 10,000 micromini dresses with spaghetti straps (or no straps). Any dress is now the length of a shirt. The same dress from open sources shown by 10 designers with very little differences. I've been around for 11+ years and there was always an abundance of same-same "ho" clothes, but back in old system/prim/flexi days I honestly think there was more creativity than now.
  14. augh.... that looks so good too I love, love, love marshmallow so yeah, this is ALL good... and really bad
  15. I loved that chart, for a lot of reasons, one of which it is just mesmerizing to watch move. I wonder on the cases in CA if that is in Southern CA where there are a lot of "red" voters. Someone told me the area was getting hard hit.
  16. Getting stuff like this food porn in my email and then trying not to eat the monitor
  17. You mean you haven't been doing that? Huh. I just assumed... /me falls at your feet and buffs your toes with my head
