    Pink Floyd aren't my favourite band (though I LUV 'See Emily Play' 😍) but I agree, the original was better...I think this remake starts off OK and might work even though it's very different, except the last minute ruins it and breaks the mood, IMO...

    I'd love to see SL bring back poker 🀩 I know it will probably never happen because of Californian law...but maybe if they relocate one day? By the way...a little off-topic for a second...does anyone know what this video is from? (I'm not a big gamer...) It has "Second Life" in the description but it's obviously not, though it looks like it could be...I wouldn't mind wasting an evening here πŸ™‚

    There was a sim where somebody made a trebuchet and if you clicked it, it would rez a temporary cow and then fling it across the sim πŸ™‚ You could also sit on it and click it and it’d throw you instead...was brilliant! There’s a bouncy castle built by Silent Mole at Rizal, perhaps it's the oldest one on SL? I once made a skybox physical and it crashed on a poetry night I also once rezzed physical beach balls and drove around into them on a golf course and the owner went bananas...so yes, check before you do it!

    I don't think it's arrogant...I miss the old days too ❀️ Not to say everyone should, or that they were better, but they were magical times for me personally, and I agree it was a lot easier to meet people without spending lots on your avatar...and maybe easier to shop on tip or trivia machine money. But in my case, I sometimes wonder if it's just nostalgia for being younger...life seemed easier and the world seemed less tense back then, so maybe my memories of SL (and MySpace) are rose-tinted?

    This would be brilliant And have a test with @HeathcliffMontague with a clipboard too πŸ™‚ If SL cars could get damaged like in GTA 5, every single one would have dents in the sides...I've NEVER been able to keep in a straight line on SL, so just drift between the walls on each side, lol. Worst is when the car suddenly goes underground and you end up bald and flying through the sea I once ended up crashing into someone's rooftop party, but they were OK about it! LL should make it mandatory to put this sign up at all ban lines near roads

    It's still learning...I tried asking it to write me an article in Shakespeare's style, and it does put in "thou" and "doth" a lot, but isn't quite there yet in my opinion... But you can also ask questions...there was a recent post on the forums asking about Asian restaurants in SL, so I asked ChatGPT and got Kim's Korean Restaurant - This is a Korean restaurant in Second Life that serves traditional Korean dishes. Izakaya Yokocho - This is a Japanese-style pub in Second Life that serves various Japanese dishes and drinks. Shanghai Nights - This is a Chinese restaurant in Second Life that specializes in Shanghainese cuisine. Vietnamese Kitchen - This is a Vietnamese restaurant in Second Life that serves authentic Vietnamese dishes. Zen Garden - This is a Japanese restaurant in Second Life that offers a wide range of Japanese dishes, including sushi and bento boxes. Please note that these are just a few more examples, and there may be many other Asian restaurants in Second Life that are worth exploring. (though some of these might be old/gone, so always worth asking human users too πŸ™‚)

Nobody knows Second Life like I do. Trust me, I have the best knowledge about it. In Second Life, you can be anyone you want to be, do anything you want to do, and go anywhere you want to go. It’s all about freedom, and nobody loves freedom more than me. You can even have your own virtual business, just like the real world. And let me tell you, I’m a successful businessman, so I know a thing or two about that. But here’s the thing: Second Life has been around for a while now, and it’s time for some updates. It needs to be modernized, made more efficient, more user-friendly. And nobody knows more about modernization and efficiency than me. I’m a great builder, believe me. So, in conclusion, Second Life is a tremendous platform, and it has so much potential. But it needs the right leadership, someone who knows how to make things great again. And that’s where I come in.     I agree! The person rezzing boxes in front of their neighbour's picture platform is just wasting their time, but copying others' sims and outfits must add up in costs...that makes me wonder if they are really trying to be annoying, or just copying because they think it looks good? It's a bit bonkers to pay to troll someone...Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―

    Make friends with a SL influencer, and get them to come to your sim when your neighbour's there...then say to them, near the boundary, "So do you think I have a chance of winning the $L20,000 Best Sim Of 2023 contest? And get the influencer to say "Oh no, Oriental designs are in this year, lighthouses are out...this'll never win, sadly!" And see how fast your neighbour changes hers Happy St Patrick's Day! ☘️

    There's always one I remember trying to play Zyngo with somebody sitting on the machine to distract me Thank you! I passed my theory test I was so nervous though, I thought the hazard perception videos would never end! πŸ₯Ά The earliest proper test I could get is July, but it gives me time to practice...and I bet my instructor is happy about another 4 months of lessons πŸ’°lol

    I would write it and just explain how to fix the issue...that's not negative, but it lets buyers decide if they want the extra work of downloading the demo too. The creator might even see it and make a change, or offer you a freebie as thanks...though, if they are blanking your requests, maybe not
