    My peeve today is more curiosity...but it's driving me nuts because I cant find an answer So maybe Americans can help...I watched bits of the CNN interview with Donald Trump, and the presenter kept calling him "Mr President"...but he's not president anymore? By the way, this isn't meant as a political post, I really just don't understand it...nobody called Obama or George Bush "Mr President" after they served their terms...so is this a new thing? Sometimes it feels like the last 3 years were a crazy dream, so it would be good to know I'm not imagining it

    I would much prefer this to machines! I only ever played poker with other people once on SL, but it was fun. Also your avatar doesn't really give away any 'tells' so it's easier to bluff I think there may be something in what you and Sid are saying...🤔

    I am probably in the minority, but I think I'll visit 🙂 I like a flutter and it looks like fun...I also like the social aspect and I'd MUCH rather play poker with people than Greedy, which I still don't understand I'm not going to pay for any tokens, though. If people do pay for it, is it really that different from buying fishing rods to play that fishing game?

    Was there a reason we couldn't pick our first names AND second names? 🤔 Then people could have made their names as serious or wacky as they liked...I had an Inworldz account and they let you pick your surname (though I never used it very much).

    Two of the best avatar names I saw on SL were Disco Biscuit and Crispin Oodles 🙂 I don't really get Seafarer though, aren't they the humans that the mermaids lure over the side? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I agree...like 'hipster' about 12 years ago and always used about others... I think most people use 'normie' to mean somebody is into mainstream culture, but it also suggests they are ignorant of anything outside it.

    It'd be fun if they suddenly turned the lights on half-way through and you saw people trying to cut their napkins, or spreading butter over their fish with a spoon 🙂

    Maybe this is just me? But my new peeve is a recent one...people replying "No problem" out of context on email It feels like people at work have started using it instead of 'thanks'...I'll send over some info they need and they reply "no problem!" I wasn't apologising for sending it...it should be me saying 'NP' after they say 'thanks!'

    I was once in Nando's and someone was sitting in front of us, fully clothed...and we could all see his bum ☚ī¸ There's a restaurant in London where you can eat in total darkness. But somebody once told me "The waiters put their willies in your soup" so I can't go there ☚ī¸(even though they were just winding me up! I think ... )
