I never had a mouse or a desktop and hate touchscreen . @ is the only 2 button action I can think of that i do with 1 hand and yes i'm right handed . Maybe the difference in preference relates to some spending most of their life outdoors work and play while others spend most of their life indoors work and play ?

Assume everyone in the adult zones is a guy and 99% of the time you will be right . For me the only difference is some are exploring gender with genuine heartfelt reason whilst others are just messing about having fun . I reckon i deleted 90% of all i bought without ever using it because trying to dress a male av in female clothes was a nightmare before BOM . Can't remember how many AO's i bought and wasted hours trying to modify , even spoke to the seller once who modified it for me - and it still didn't work . Gave up so still use a free AO because its the least fidgety and annoying I've found . Can't remember how many mesh/bom heads i have either but my freebie classic head beats them all . I'm pretty much a one outfit av which most will call lazy and would not accept , if i could be bothered explaining , that each individual item of that outfit represents many many hours of trying and failing with hundreds of demo's and gamble purchases just to see if it will fit .

I lol in absence of body language and facial expression , just to take the bite out of my words or indicate that my words are coming in a chilled not really caring manner . When something genuinely makes me laugh i will respond along the lines of haha thats brilliant .

Someone once helped me by donating furniture when i had a place for a little while , and for me it was an appreciated honour and a mark of trust that i was left with permission to edit all her furniture for maybe 2 years given she decorated at least 3 very large sims that i know of and had banned myself from long before . I could have gone back and caused havoc i guess , but why would anyone do that ? Its a sad fact of SL that reputations don't follow us , or indeed arrive before us . Like it or lump it reputations are a governing factor of society that have far more reach than rules and law . In virtual the redacted will simply move on without consequence and do it again to someone else which is not so easy in RL .

Remove the rights of all the group because the worst kind of morons are calculating and deceitful , the innocent know they didn't do it so will struggle to prove it , but the guilty has a fully prepared alibi and a plan to put the blame on someone else . Like as not they will be the most sympathetic and determined to find the culprit . I witnessed one such person destroy a very popular sim with whispers turning everyone against each other while playing the innocent and easily upset and gaining promotion every step of the way . As i understand it joint owners of over 10 years went their separate ways because one still supports the scum while the other evidently worked out that all sackings , bannings , people quitting , the general demise of the club all had one common factor in the origins . Took about 3 years though .

Just talking really , to sum up I'd say pretence is superficial and in rp anyone can pull it off so long as theres no depth to the circumstance . with regard to "gender these days" as an employer in a field where it is extremely rare to see women involved it just seems to me that women have taken on the paternal role all inclusively and the young "men" are all impossibly selfish .

Obviously i'm a guy , which makes me very different from a girl , which in my view is neither a good or bad thing - it just is . My gf could do everything i do if she wanted to and some of it better I'm sure , visa versa . But unquestionably men and women tackle the same chores/go about things with a completely different mindset . As a teen i shacked up with a woman who was heckled insane and almost housebound by her 3 wild kids , so i sent her out to go visit her mother or whatever she wanted to do and enlisted the kids help in making the house spotless before mum gets home . They loved it , while at the same time earning a new appreciation of all mum does for them . A single day changed her life after 9 years of despair trying her absolute best to be the perfect mother .

By "age related" I mostly meant pre-whatever generic name they give to young people nowadays Gen ABC? Before they banned all the things that used to turn boys into men . Before chivalry stopped being a duty and instead became chauvinism . I can cook,sew.clean,shop everything that mommy traditionally did , mainly because she never did any of it because she was at work . Yet i'd say i'm an old fashioned or traditional male in every respect (outside of SL) Of all the chores i still hate shopping the most , unless its a warehouse full of used junk I can sift through that kind of stuff all day . A lake and an ocean might look very similar on the surface but what lies beneath is .....................

I never played the gender game but this made me wonder about a generalization that is perhaps age related ? Women like shopping and men don't .

I never met a newbie that didn't know far more than me about how SL works , or else i never met a newbie . I occasionally share items that were given to me in my early days when i see a lazy freebie alt using junk and most won't even acknowledge the better item was received . Does anyone else ever wonder what part technology plays in the degeneration of the human race ?

A very blunt short and direct message to my stalker scum with 100 alts (who was named along with about 7 alts) being all my profile contained seemed to do the trick . I would like to think it caused some hurt but I'm realistic enough to assume it just caused them some drama from their other acquaintances so finally after 2 or 3 years it blocked me . To alter quotes and pass them on was one of its favourite tools . Its all lies and fantasy , the rights and wrongs , the good and bad , the difference is only intent .

Just going through my landmarks and was reminded i got banned from a place for insatiables for just walking the sim in silence nowhere near anybody . Perhaps i broke rules i'd never read because it was only my second visit in as many years ? I think some just like to test ban rights when they get them . Right now i'm dancing alone on a sim i got banned from years ago . I was a regular there kind of impressed that though the rules expressly stated "female avatars only" (Gurl) . Not sure how i got away with being a very obvious crossdressed male avatar for so long but i got along with the staff so i guess they decided i was amiable and harmless . One day i l arrived at the landing zone where the rule didn't apply and a different staff member who i'd never met before instantly banned me and followed up with a load of I.M abuse . I heard the staff i knew quit the place soon after . Its very large sim and 3 years later i return to find i'm the only person on it , which says it all , what goes around comes around .

I'm in the UK and with no change to my settings I'm seeing far more clouds for much longer since Saturday .

Nobody is saying don't report it because only you know what you witnessed . I guess some of us just more readily accept that looks can be deceiving and we are more inclined to live and let live .

Shrugs , i'm over 6ft in rl and my avatar was always based on rl me for connection while escapism had me crossdressing just for fun . Connection is lost to me so it doesn't really matter any more but still i'm a guy and i don't pretend to be anything else , boredom had me experimenting and my flat chest maitreya now lives forgotten in my inventory because its not me .

While trying to find an androgynous male shape/body I looked at all the teen and child avatars thinking i might make it 5ft + tall , fatten them up a bit and i'd obviously be using an adult head . Its not an option , they can't be made tall enough so you probably seen a maitreya avatar who's shape slider tells them they are over 5ft tall which seems kinda average for a rl woman to me . Your idea of childish is likely his/her idea of cute . My entire SL took place in the adult zones only and i never came across ***** while people wanting to be called mommy or daddy by sexual partners is so common its normal . Who doesn't wish they were younger ?

Providers don't care about your service but they do care about receiving your money so if you can turn off your router all day while you go do something else i imagine every effort is made to reboot it from afar . Forced health check 😉

I login out of habit , sometimes i forget to and sometimes i forget i did , my sl is on par with reading the daily news which while having no particular interest fills time with thoughts .
