  1. Us: "We love Second Life!" (but complain anyway) Them: "Second Life suxxxxxxx, This other platform roxxxxx!" (but use Second Life anyway and complain here)
  2. So now that I understand this better..it does sound a little familiar. Why is this not considered an "exploit"? Alternatively, if it is an "undocumented feature" then it could benefit many people. Unless, resetting "no-mod scripts" would lead to more issues than solutions (if made easier).
  3. Hi all, has the llLinksetDataFindKeys() sorting issue been resolved? It would make my current work much easier. Edit: I see "https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-232895" has been "Accepted".. Thanks, Love
  4. You are learning, good! Thank you for sharing your story. None of this is news to many of us Second Life users. Have fun in IMVU!
  5. Some of us P+ users are happy with the other benefits. 2048 land tier, additional stipend, free uploads..
  6. Hell is other people! Online interactions peaked with AOL: AIM and chat rooms.
  7. No. Anybody with rights to do so, can ban you for any reason or no reason. It is a "resident-to-resident" dispute and LL will not get involved.
  8. What does this part mean? (What arrows does this refer to?) I am reminded of the old joke about the police officer asking the bad driver "Didn't you see the arrows?" (You probably know the punchline.)
  9. Is "copycat" behavior with Dinkies even an issue? I didn't know you could tell them apart.
  10. Prok mentioned that others (such as his son) have rights and took the box into their inventory and re-rezzed it. That certainly would look like a change of ownership, right? Sure looks like a possible root cause. I guess the only mystery to me then is, why script reset wasn't working (unless they were also trying the transfer / take / rerez after script reset).
  11. If resetting the script did not change it, then it appears the permissions are not persisting across states. @Rolig Loon, was there any use-case / scenario where just "requesting" permissions in a state "validates" the permission? I seem to recall (perhaps it was with animations). My point being, could there be a 1-line code fix in the "subordinate" states of just requesting the permission again?
