  1. It really isn't. Either: A. Make an alt and start over or B. Move on with your life and be the person you want to be. Put anyone who can't let go of your past and brings you down on ignore.
  2. If you want to stop by my place sometime to chat, feel free. I am here at random times, usually idling while I do work in another window. This thread tells a little bit more about me. Stop by or say hello if you think we might align. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lionheart Simba/234/216/35
  3. While I know how to use the search feature, and have done so, I was just wondering if anyone can share their favorite Gotcha Yardsales. Are there any that are particularly popular? I'm especially hearing from those who sell at these locations. I have some Gotchas to offload and the sheer number of places is overwhelming.
  4. Okay, this is becoming 'Nalytha's Getting Annoying Blog.' Come on, folks! I want to see your work! I found this cute picture for $L1 in the marketplace. I love this tree so much, but I know I should be moving on from snowflakes.. I am going to just eventually cheat and rotate the snowflake to the wall. 5. How big is the lot you are trying to buy? Only 512 comes with Premium. You can bump this up a little if you make a group and donate the tier to the group.
  6. I don't even know what 'your kind' is. So your OP was dishonest. You didn't want others people's opinions at all. You just wanted to twist anything people said so that it validated your own agenda.
  7. I really like these. They are OAL Gem Sandals. They come with a hud for the jewels.

    Keybinding

I can see in the toolbars the various default keybind shortcuts. What I can't seem to locate is where to make custom keybinds. I am in Firestorm.
  9. I have a really girly style. If you ask me for decorating advice, it's going to be add more pink, glitter, and cats.

Is there a way to bind these buttons to my mouse? I have a 12 button gaming mouse, and it would be awesome if I could use those buttons in SL to do simple tasks like open my inventory or edit sky settings.
  11. I just want to say that I really would like to see everything mod. The great thing about Second Life is the potential for creativity. I love the houses I buy, but I also love that they give me an amazing base upon which to shape my own creative dreams. I get that some creators don't want to see their creations "distorted," but I love the ones that can see that modifying their work doesn't mean that their work sucks. Their work is a gift to us all. I guess my only argument is basically the same as Pamela's, as long as no-mod is an option, then seller's have the right to use it.
  12. I really, really like this. A lot of creators in the world started creating because they couldn't find what it was they were looking for being made by others. I've been toying with this idea myself for Second Life but I'm not sure I'm ready to commit the time necessary to learn. But it doesn't make the argument any less true.
  13. I thought the jelly doll thing was supposed to help with this? I actually don't know very much about this topic, so please let me know if I'm wrong. I get pretty good FPS in most places in SL as long as they aren't near full capacity like popular shopping events. I run on high to ultra most places and do fine. I'm actually a returning player as well. When I came back, I switched to a mesh body and a lot of my old stuff either didn't fit, was a huge AC, or was just outdated. I'm not crying over the spent lindens. That was money I spent for entertainment at that time. I don't assume everything is going to stay relevant and current and last forever. Plus, I always know LL could shut the servers down in a minute and everything I bought could be gone. So, I'm not really swayed by this. All that said, I don't know much about modifying clothes, so I don't pay much attention whether the clothes I buy are mod or not. I do love decorating though and will not buy non-mod houses or decor. So, as a customer, I've spoken with my money.
  14. If no-mod was such a big deal for the majority of Second Life users, wouldn't the shift from things being mostly mod to lot's of non mod stuff coming out have been met with more backlash and less support? Wouldn't people just stop buying no-mod stuff enough that creators felt pressured to change?
  15. This is a blog dedicated to Second Life decorating. http://www.lovetodecoratesl.com/ Post some pictures, and maybe we can get a better idea of your style.
  16. If the thread has been moved twice, moderators obviously haven’t said anything about breaking forums rules for being off topic.
  17. While it is very moderated, it is actually one of the more passive aggressive forums I’m part of.
  18. Woodworking <3 In the process of upgrading my bridge with these sparkly blocks from Half Deer
  19. Must.... not... buy ... more ...gatchas....
  20. I did =) Extra rule: No drama allowed
  21. Greetings, my friends call me Naly. I currently rent on the private estate of Lionheart. I have a very tiny room available. About me I'm a 31 year old, married female. I love to decorate in Second Life, as well as explore and meet people. My First Life interests include black cats, machine stenography, white cats, documentaries, orange cats, video games, travel, reading (fantasy, urban fantasy, self help), minimalism, CATS, and hula hoop dancing, Yeah.. it's seriously a thing. Youtube it <3 I love to talk about philosophy, religion, politics, etc. I lean left and am an Atheist. In Second Life, I'm not big into fashion or the club scene. My favorite sim is Commune Utopia for great conversation. I'm 100% not looking for any sort of relationship that goes beyond that of the platonic variety. I'm very happily married. I am up for Discord, if we click. I am SL+2 time zone, in CST United States. I log in randomly at all hours... I often times just idle in my house while I'm working on a second monitor. You Any age, sex, or gender; as long as you aren't interested in anything other than friendship. You are more than welcome to bring friends over, I just ask that you keep it PG. Please only respond to this ad if you are interested in becoming friends. If you'd just like a place to change, or hangout, feel free to mark my place as your 'home,' but if you are wanting the room and to make it a bit more permanent, I'd like to reserve that for someone who thinks we might hit it off. The Room You can decorate the room to your liking, or if you prefer, I can decorate it for you and you can just use my land as a hangout and place to call home. There's no cost, but donations are accepted, if you so desire. Decorating will be limited to your room, unless we can reach an agreement on stuff outside of it. There isn't much privacy for changing, so if you'd like I can give you a landmark for a skybox I own that you can use to change in. Or you can just change in the treehouse... because it's just pixels and my sensibilities will not be offended. LI isn't a big deal, just keep it reasonable. The land itself is still in the process of being decorated. Also, there are two parcels next to my land that are available for rent, if you so desire. I am not the owner of those, Lionheart is. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lionheart Simba/241/195/35
  22. This is starting to sound like a promising party.
  23. I remember the thread where you admit to having a past you aren't proud of and want to move on from. So, why is it so strange that Second Life might be filled with other people who do stuff they might later regret (or should)?
