  1. You need a bigger antenna on your wireless router:
  2. Now that looks great, but the pepperoni is missing. No comparison between Kiwi Fruit and pineapple.
  3. Blake looks better with a decent jacket. Added some aging to his face. He ages well, must be the facelift. Still Blake head and body. Exile Ryan hair and A&D Blazer. Aging face features from LeLUTKA BOM addons folder for Alain head.
  4. I think Blake has possibilities as a Pee Wee Herman look-alike. The thick lips might still be a problem. Was the designer a Pee Wee fan?
  5. Jamie on bed looking for her high heels. No changes or additions, right out of the Library default settings. Bento face and body poses look the same as on the expensive bodies, with the slimmer body shapes at least. Mouth expressions from Bento AVSitter2.2 are not the best though, more like torture than pleasure. But that is the face animation that comes with the poses, same on all heads I have tried.
  6. I have not tried either Senra head in a Bento enabled sex bed yet. I can't find anyone willing to test with her without a paper bag. Oh wait Jamie and Blake together - like brother and sister. That should work.
  7. I think the reason it took so long to release such a plain looking avatar with no features, like high heels, or realistic skins, or a basic HUD for nail and head features, or modern hair, or even a decent AO, is not because the designers were incompetent. Every time their LL bosses looked at their early results, they were told, nope that looks too good and might compete with our favorite million linden/month designers' head, skin, and body products. Make it worse - take that feature out! And it took many months to finally come up with the finished product, which competes with nothing - not even the old Library system avatars. Trixie and Bitsy are better looking with better default clothing. Just lose the cute dog Bitsy. First appearances are important,. They need taller bushes at the Welcome Center for the new arrivals to hide in. A few newbies, with no lindens, will try to make the Senra heads look unique, and PRETTY, because who wants to enter SL with a homely head? I expect they will soon give up and spend their dollars as LL wants them too, or quit SL.
  8. Good Bye for now Lindal. Please take care of yourself as I think you are doing by cutting SL and the forum off for the time being. As probably the oldest in RL active member in this forum, I am having the same thoughts, although I hope to ease out by cutting my sitting in front of the computer time down to 1/3 of what I have been doing for the last 30 years. My legs, eyes and heart will thank me, I hope.
  9. I just showed you a video of the default Blake avatar, no slider changes from default from the library, and the mesh tops and bottoms supplied for Blake by SL do need the supplied alpha layers. So I guess you are completely wrong on that case. Or you don't notice when light skin breaks through on a black top, when moving. I've been dealing with Maitreya shapes and skins since they came out. There are plenty of poorly rigged clothes made for Maitreya, and they absolutely DO need the alpha cut HUD to correct that. And of course newbies and oldies will try to wear clothes not made specifically for a mesh body. The alpha layers or alpha cuts make that possible. I never said wearing all BOM clothes looked good. They work for t-shirts inside a mesh open jacket, socks, underpants etc. All I said was you won't need an alpha layer with BOM clothing, obviously. But as usual you try to read things that no one said into your replies.
  10. I finally brought Blake back to the SL grid. His alpha layers were not being removed and they would not go back to inventory in Aditi. I made a short video of Blake doing the Twist (no music) just to show why you need to use the alpha layer included with the top Hoodie or Tshirt. See the skin breaks on his backside. Blake has a fine sense of color matching. 😚 https://gyazo.com/96d6ce64d58b22e8b26a25d14d4ee756
  11. Yes, and I feel the same way about Lions. Gen-Zers have facial hair because they don't have time to shave - too busy posting on the internet... And since so many work at home, or don't have jobs at all, who cares if you are clean shaven? Same with us retirees - shaving is a waste of time. Ever notice how many long beards from the oldsters?
  12. I see no difference between the Blake and Jamie heads. When I saw your first pic of Jamie in the pink dress, I thought it was Blake in his pink dress. I hope they introduce other mesh bento heads for Senra that are not so unisex that those who want to look like rugged men will not be forced to used the old system avatars in the Library. Can you imagine a muscular biker guy in RL (because they have muscles from doing outside jobs other then punching the keys on their smartphone) trying to make a biker out of Blake?
  13. You need to use the INCLUDED alpha layers with the clothing in their library. Most so called fitted mesh clothing needs alpha cuts or alpha layers if you try a good dance animation. Lots of Maitreya made clothing for the Maitreya default shapes still need the alpha cuts. Unless all you do is pose for pictures, and stand around motionless, that's why there is the alpha cut in their HUD. And if you try to change the shapes on a commercial body, then you will for sure need to use alpha layers unless you are as skinny as a skeleton. I don't understand the opposition to alpha layers in this forum. Of course you can also wear BOM clothing and avoid the punch thru issue.
  14. I had to look up Juggernaut, since the first comic about him started in 1965, and I sold my comic book collection in 1955. Juggernaut - a massive inexorable force, campaign, movement, or object that crushes whatever is in its path. (Yeah I saw it's from a Hindi god and stuff, but pfft.) Hindi Jagannāth, literally, lord of the world, title of Vishnu
  15. LL is aiming at the z-geners with high paying technical jobs. I have not seen a single statement from any LL management that indicates they are in the least concerned about residents that are struggling because of wars, inflation, disability, increasing age and fixed incomes, or older computers. The typical SL fanboy/girl has a high end gaming system that is not affordable for many. They live for the new and shiny (doorknobs). The SL plan appears to be to capture an entire new and young crowd with the mobile viewer, while thinking HUAD is the answer for the rest of us. This summer has been the worst for most SL businesses I know about in years. The UK owners of my estate are struggling to rent parcels, reducing rent to less than break even levels and still have high vacancy. They are aware of the economic issues in the UK, because they live there. The Linden management in the USA are forever silent on what's happening elsewhere in the world.
  16. The new improved SL... The CDR rezzing algorithm and cache management has never been worse. I must zoom out to infinity and back to close up to cause my own low lag sky platform objects to rez multiple times/day. Same anywhere residents have had the nerve to actually place objects on their land. The lighting contrast problem and color over saturation with PBR is just another stake in the zombie. SL coders need to observe the real world, where colors are not artificially boosted to cartoon levels, and white objects during daylight are not like staring at a noon day sun.
  17. The Welcome center could also send newbies to PaleoQuest, where they could earn 50 $L once a week. It's one way to learn how to run and jump with your avatar if you are not a gamer already. Once you learn the game skills/secrets it takes about 30 mins or less to finish the 5 quests. Linden Realms is good for another 50$L a week for 2 hours work, and is easier than Paleoquest. (The 4 quests in LR takes about 30 mins, the other 90 mins are to collect crystals.) This would only be after an avatar learned to walk, run, and jump in a welcome center, AND had PIOF and PIU on file. Does the new Welcome center even have practice areas for that? Firestorm welcome center does, and you can jump much easier with Firestorm than the SL Viewer. (FS has an added feature "Disable waiting for pre-jump and landing animations" in Preferences, that improves jumping by 100%.) The SL Viewer has never added that feature. Still a small upfront gift from LL with no effort would be a good idea. $100 $L would not bankrupt LL, but even 50 $L would be useful for a onetime gift. None of these newbies are going to cost LL real money by cashing out to dollars. Cashing out less that 5,000 $L is barely worth the effort.
  18. Blake after not shaving for 2 weeks. At least he can grow hair. That blood splattered shirt is suspicious*. It's really hard to make Blake look all that masculine. He is aimed at the gen z crowd I guess. * There's not any fast food stand I could find in Aditi. I think Blake ate the rabbit.
  19. Well, sleep for 8 hrs and I see I started a topic within a topic My in world and forum ban was on July 18, 2021, so 2 years ago. Theresa Linden closed that thread and my account shows only a warning for "Abusive Behavior." Theresa is in the Concierge Mainland group, and my Main still goes to those monthly meetings. This is the thread: https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/474419-how-do-you-get-media-from-other-parcels-to-stop-playing-on-your-land/page/3/ It was a technical help session about a club owner who said she had no visitors because they were hearing strange sounds coming over the media channel. Rowan was also involved and Qie and Molly. Afaik, I was the only one given a ban. I never figured out the reason, since I and the others were only helpful to a difficult OP, who kept saying none of us were telling her what she wanted to hear. I spent several hours visiting her club to figure out what was happening, and also posted my findings. Finally a Linden showed up at the OP's club parcel at the OP's request, and simply turned off the power switch on a neighbor's MOAP television. There was a movie loaded that would start up everytime someone camed over to the neighbors home. The OP, who lived next door to the offending neighbor's family (parents and kids) did most of the triggering of the media starting herself. It was impossible to trigger the MOAP TV from within her club. Turning off the auto-start media would have stopped her complaint, but she said that was asking her patrons to do too much. It was one of the most interesting and frustrating threads I have ever been in, and was entirely technical. The only person hurling insults to all of us was the OP. She said she was ARing us every day until she got her problem solved. The moderator also removed about 1/2 the comments in the thread, which was mostly the OP violating the TOS about naming Lindens, and threatening everyone with AR's, and then repeating the same message multiple postings, including posting private messages from the Linden help desk (screenshots). Could this happen again? I suppose it depends on who in Governance is making the decisions. And yes, this was one good reason why I never post with my Main in this forum. I can't afford to be locked out of SL for 36 hours, since I have scheduled commitments every day. Fortunately my Main was not also banned.
  20. You mean my new alt? Nope, she never made it through the Welcome Center, and has no idea there is an SL Forum.
  21. No, as I said, my Main posted here intentionally once in the last 10 years. But when an SL mod banned me here AND in SL for 36 hours (you might remember that discussion in the tech section), I brought in another alt to read posts. Never posted but probably did a few likes. I am not addicted to this forum, I keep telling myself. But I have this brand new alt I made 2 days ago to test the new user experience. She has no use at all, I don't even remember her name. So I have a backup in case I try to help a troll again and get banned.
  22. My first post was "I am an Alt here". His statement was clear. I'll let him explain himself.
  23. That is a rather mean statement, and of course I totally disagree. I am exactly the same here as an alt as I am as my Main in world. Luna already sensed that. I never role play. I simply only post here as my alt because that's how I started here ( I am a 4261 day old alt). There is zero advantage to posting on my Main here. Too many haters here to risk my businesses by posting here on my main public account - it's that simple. My honesty has never been questioned in my 12 years in SL, and I am a public figure in SL. That is how I was brought up, to never take advantage of anyone less fortunate.
  24. Oh No, Luna and her ESP. Be careful what you are thinking around her
  25. Trouble maker! BTW we have chatted in world, mostly about your business. You graced our club once when I was there.
