My waterfront parcel at Miru with a sweet little building by 8f8. I haven't put too much out on this property because it's where I have my sky platform and I need the prims for working on stuff. I have a dock with some cute little bumper boats by Culprit. The area is actually not bad for boating because it's next to The L-Shaped Lake and there's a ton of other Linden waterways surrounding it. Land never goes up for sale in this sim, I've had the same neighbours forever, it's pretty great.

Hi fellow Bay City residents. I'm guilty of owning one of those empty parcels in Bay City. I use it for prims for my main parcel but I'd like to put a building on it that is in theme. I have a bit over 1000 prims spare ( but obviously don't want to use all of those) and the parcel is 20m x 30m canal front, no road access. Anyone have any great ideas?

It sounds like you are looking for a free alternative to Marvelous Designer. I'm not aware of anything completely free but there are some affordable sewing plugins for Blender, like Cloth Weaver, that you might want to look into. Perpetual licenses of MD also go on sale regularly, at quite a huge discount, so keep an eye out for that.

This is my place in lovely Iris (as it currently looks, I change a lot). You can see the Moth Temple info hub in the background, and of course all of the wonderful work done by the SL Public Land Preserve. I was very lucky to find a parcel to buy here last year at a reasonable price. I can remember spending time around the boardwalks of the preserve in my early days and really enjoying it so it is nice to live there now, although I must say I end up spending too much time on a boring work platform and not on the ground. It wouldn't be a great place to live if you needed privacy, I get people wandering in from the info hub and generally have a quick chat with them. I put out speed boats by Culprit for people to use, I see that they sometimes are so that's good. Oh, the fishing shed is by AustinLiam Resident, in world or on the marketplace.

I have 2 avatars with well in excess of 150k items in inventory each. Kind of glad I never bothered getting rid of all those old system skins and clothes with BOM being released, I have some great stuff. But I also have hair and shoes from 2006......... On occasion I have tried to go through and clean things up, everything is sorted in sub-folders at least.

IF he has a legal guardian and lets you know who his guardian is (it could be a parent or other person given legal responsibility through the courts), then you may be able to do something by contacting them. If he is an adult without a guardian there appears to be nothing in the TOS to stop him doing this, and nothing you can do without breaching his privacy. If people are breaching the TOS in their exploitation of him you could of course encourage him to report that, but from what you say he is doing this willingly. There are lots of people in his situation unfortunately.

LeLutka has begun updating their heads to BoM. The heads will be updated in batches, currently only Aida, Guy and Korina have received updates. Info is available in their update group, but basically the BoM button now works properly on those heads.

I don't know about the willow trees sorry, but for affordable low LI garden stuff, Dysfunctionality [DDD] is really good. They have an in world store, easy to find in search.

You could see what Adoness has, they fit the goth style. Tableau Vivant has a small selection of fantasy hair. Vanity Hair has some pretty outrageous looking hairstyles.

I think I might be an alt. I'm never sure which one is my main. I'm premium and buy all the land but I own a store and do more stuff on my "alt". I have others that I use for ad photos, testing and to dress up when I'm bored, a couple of them are even mesh.

Here's my house in Brown. For anyone who is interested, it's the Half Moon Pad by Cunning Plans, available on the marketplace. My plot is a 512 and I've managed to fully furnish it and place a couple of trees, with 14 prims to spare. The parcel next door to me is for sale, shame I can't buy it right now.

Thanks for this post. I have a little mid century modern house in Brown, I'd post a picture but I can't access SL at the moment. I used to own more land there until I tiered down. As a long term resident I have great affection for the sim, I rented there in my early days and I am happy to own land there now, however abandoned the sim feels it's still my little bit of suburbia and full of memories.

League has released a free update to allow their system layer skins to be used with bakes on mesh. This takes the form of tattoo layers that fix the issue with feet and nails not lining up correctly on mesh bodies. So League system skins are now BoM compatible. edit to add - the update is in store and won't be delivered to customers

Slink Hourglass body, bakes on mesh. The settings in the HUD really smooth things out nicely. The body suit is old but still available on the marketplace, by GALLACTIC.

I've seen a lot of marketplace listings that say things along the lines of "purchase in world for 5% discount", I guess to avoid the marketplace listing fee and basically just use the marketplace as free promotion for their items. I was looking at the marketplace listing policies and can't see exactly where this behaviour falls, under Anti-Competitive or Abusive Behavior it lists "inflating prices on the SL Marketplace, in comparison to other e-commerce sites" but there is nothing mentioned about offering cheaper prices in world. I would think that offering higher prices on your entire store on the marketplace compared to in world would be anti-competitive and reportable though.

If your friend doesn't like the heads at Catwa, Lelutka Guy is also very popular and there are some great skins available for it. I bought a Catwa head for my alt and really wish I had gone with Guy instead, it's a really nice head. Anyway as always, try all the demos.

What I would find funnier, would be if the creators of the Legacy body were forced to do a free update.

I've never seen that either, how weird, especially when you are paying a premium price for group membership. I see stores with raffles for group members who place the store in their profile picks but the group you describe is offering nothing in return for customers providing them with free advertising and in fact is asking members to pay for the privilege.
