Most likely play an old and almost forgotten MMO to emulate the mainland wandering I do. Like going skiing or snowboarding in an snowy resort and going back to a warm cabin. You don't go back to a frozen cabin. All the things that are good in SL are not good in a game and vice versa. I would look at the whole page rather than a single item, if I was using that as a determining factor as to what has kept SL alive. Which I wouldn't. I've seen that top spot change from multiple times over time, but the whole page pretty much stays the same as far as over all page.. The top spot changes like the wind.. The texture that is two spots down is only from a week or so ago.. What is in the top spot now hasn't been there that long. The stress of having to "work" to achieve goals in videogames puts me off now days. I don't wanna work more than I already do in RL, so I come to SL instead, where I can just relax and socialize and be creative. It does compete with videogames for me.
