To be cool in SL you need to partially cover your eyes with hair and/or wear pants that are partially unzipped.  I mean, I saw some jeans I wanted but why were they mostly unzipped?

I guess those could qualify, but lately I've been seeing a lot of jeans for sale with zippers half-way undone...and that annoys me because I liked the jeans and wanted to buy them!

I see alot of jeans with big holes in their knees...and that annoys me too. You know what I do about that? I don't buy them. I buy some other jeans that fit my own aesthetic instead.

I've seen some jeans where there was barely a thread of denim on them!   I don't know...good for showing off tattoos I guess..

Ya it does me too.. It really only works for me when it's like beach shorts and body suits with pants, for the most part.

I wear jeans with holes in the knees, or various other worn areas, but they got there the old fashioned way, I refuse to buy new jeans that look like someone wore them for 10 years, yea i know distressed, but i prefer to distress them myself 😁

I give you a mistake or fail that affect my mood. I tried to play voodoo.  It was not easy at the begining. Then sudenly I got a message desactivated. After a while I realised that I was banned. The moderator said that a owner ban me. I didn't know the reason. He gave me a long list of rules.  

In secondlife you don't have a second chance. When you are banned the only solution is change your IP address and create a new avatar. Maybe they will deteted in a cookie somewhere that I did a mistake and they will ban me again. 

All that is game destructif for our mood and our selfesteem. You start to learn a new thing then you get banned. The owner never realised how hard it is to be banned. He feel power but it is like killing someone. that game is really hard and violent in that sens. No second chance.

Being banned from a place is not the end. It actually saves you time, because it's clear they never wanted you around anyway. Find another place and go there instead. If you did something that would warrant being banned, learn from it and avoid that.

It is not a game, so don't try to min/max your stats, so to speak. Follow the advice given here. Join groups related to your interests. Visit events. Take it slow when you're in a new space and meeting new people. Remember that lots of people have other stuff going on, so they might need to go afk, spend time building/using graphics programs, and other stuff that isn't always social.

I am not banned to a specific place but banned to play the game in all places. We can play that game on many places. 

 

I read that I should join groups. But groups  is used to advertise not for socialise. I reveive notification that I never understand and delete. Finaly I uncheck the notification because I never see the advantage of group. It is like a mailing list. If you are interested  to buy things it is ok.

If you get banned, just wait. There is a limit to how many people can be banned from a region. Depending on the traffic into a region and tendency of guests to violate the rules it can take weeks to months for the ban list to fill up. They are first in first out. So eventually you will likely get back in. Then pay attention to the rules.

Also by the time you scroll out of ban... whoever banned you will have forgotten you. Unless, of course, you did something really epic.

I have found most games in SL are simple enough. Most explain what they expect and what is required. The game moderators may be good or bad. They often get jaded and tend to react poorly. Also most in-world games involve RP. RP'ers tend to be into drama. Game moderators are generally advanced RP players. Meaning they are seriously into drama. But when they switch to OOC for moderation then it is all their way. Whatever you say just doesn't matter that much. You cannot argue with them. Doing so is pretty much an automatic ban.

Playing in games with in SL is not playing SL...

Lots of people have posted here about being banned from playing Voodoo, it seems the rules are easy to break if you don't pay close attention, so you are not alone with that. Just find something else to do and don't take it personally.

They say that voodoo is for detecting bots, but I mean if you are having a conversation with the person or someone from their sim working for them, you would think..

Hey I'm actually chatting with this person, they can't be a bot..

There really should be a rule about network banning systems.. One land owner shouldn't have the power to ban someone from other peoples land.. For one it's not their land and two maybe those land owners need the traffic..

It's a stupid system really.. I leave right away when I detect that it's on someones land..It's just not worth the headaches.
