BilliJo Aldrin
A couple of hosts on a radio show were playing this game I am about to describe. I thought it was funny, and managed to make up about 15 before I ran out of ideas. What you do, is take two word, usually an adjective and a noun, and replace them both with two words that rhyme, and mean more or less the same thing. Here are three examples. humorous rabbit can become funny bunny nude bunny can become bare hare angry father can become mad dad. How many more can others think up? Lindal Kidd
Could be a fun game, but I think one person should say the two words, and the next should make a rhyming response, then say another two words. "Madelaine McMasters"...
Chic Aeon
Happy Pappy (not going to be a long term player here LOL but waking up).
Selene Gregoire
It's been decades since I heard the joke and all I remember is the punchline. It goes like this: "A slap happy Jappy with a crap happy pappy." I wouldn't have thought of if it Chic hadn't reminded me.

"Madelaine McMasters"... Heh ... a game killer right at the start. Try rhyming "Madeline MacMasters" with anything. It's like "orange rhinoceros." 🤔

Lindal Kidd
Sigh...either I didn't understand the game as BilliJo described it, or the rest of y'all don't. My understanding: 1. Two words. Words that don't rhyme. 2. Two words, that rhyme WITH EACH OTHER, and are the same thing as the original two words. 3. Example (also see BilliJo's examples in the OP): Humorous Rabbit ----------> Punny Bunny.

I am curious what rhyming pair you had in mind. For for mine, autumn dance, I had in mind "fall ball".
Lindal Kidd
I liked "slinking skink" and consider it the closest to meeting the game rules so far. I was thinking, legless lizard ---------> fake snake. Darn, I completely came up blank on autumn dance. Good one! This may be a harder game than I thought. Lindal Kidd
I don't think you have to guess the exact answer the poster had in mind, as long as it rhymes. I love "fatter hatter!"
