It's amazing and surprising to see that a 10 year old thread helped someone! And as a bonus, I'd never seen a pink UI.

I usually have poor FPS - my graphics is set in the notch between High and Ultra, with shadows enabled and LOD set to 4 - so I never pay much attention to my FPS to avoid grinding my teeth. But after seeing this thread, I tested it around mainland, full private sim and homestead - with graphics set to Ultra, LOD at 4 and shadows enabled - and have to concur that it has improved. Wow, good job, LL! SL looks shinier now.

For a second I thought I was in the adult forum. And nope, I like to play with my prims myself.

Despite the inconvenience we experience once in a while, when the restarts take longer than expected and an occasional more noticeable glitch, it is much less painful compared to what I recall about 12-15 years ago, when development was being done at neck breaking speeds, and the weekly rolling restarts would always bring new easter eggs. It was a constant game of "what else new will break this week"? Anyone remembers completing a teleport with everything shoved up your a**?

You can update the Lilly head and continue using it in Evo setting, as Marianne indicated in her reply above. However, the EvoX setting has a totally different UV map, which is not compatible with Evo. If you do want to use the EvoX setting, you'll have to use compatible EvoX skins, makeup, etc.

The newer AOs from Vista and Body Language have Bento animations, which will take care of the starfish hands from the Belleza Jake body. In case your husband does not feel inclined to spend the money buying a new AO, an inexpensive fix is to buy a hand AO, such as this one [link], which is inexpensive and will "unstuck" the hands.

Could you provide further details on the hair and outfit that you are looking for? Do you have a reference (e.g., photo)?

Unfortunately the information your friend shared is not accurate. It is not necessarily possible to attain the exact same look, simply adjusting the shape sliders. For instance, I have Gianni and Jake. Jake has much muscular legs and bubble butt compared to Gianni. No amount of adjusting the sliders on Gianni will get me the same look for the legs/butt that I can easily get with Jake. Kario comes in two versions, and both of them are much more muscular compared to all others you listed. As Marianne suggested, get demos for all the bodies and compare. The difference is noticeable. I don't have a fixed budget. I try to be sensible with my spending on a regular basis, but sometimes I spend too much. For instance, when I returned to SL a few months ago, I spent way too freely updating my avatar and replacing many of the outdated things in my inventory, which I needed to rebuild and furnish/decorate my "home". Black Friday was another occasion in which I went overboard. But at least spending in SL is not as costly as in RL.

Hello Marat. There are many places where you can get good AOs. My top two recommendations are Vista [SLurl] and Body Language [SLurl]. If you go to Vista, the signs will tell you which are the newest AOs, which are bento. At Body Language, all the male AOs I tried there were bento. When you get to the stores, you can try the animations in the AOs, before deciding which one you want to purchase. Once you purchase the AO, just add it; it is like a HUD. You can turn the AO on and off, if needed. Some people will suggest that you use the AO built into Firestorm, but I understand that Firestorm does work in your computer, so it is better to just add the AO as a HUD in your case. @MaratKirilov in order to increase your privacy in your Linden home, you might also want to consider preventing avatars who are not in your parcel to be able to see you and your guests in your Linden home. In order to do so, open you land window and uncheck the box for "Avatars on other parcels can see and chat with avatars on this parcel". This way, even if someone cams into your house, they won't be able to see you. You can use this feature in combination with the CasperSafe you've already purchased. Hope this helps!

Do databases dream about the data stored in them? Avatars are simply 0s and 1s stored somewhere in AWS.

I hear it is difficult for non-Americans to get $ out of SL. Any experiences and/or tips on how to facilitate converting L$ into non-US$ cash?

Given the recent "don't look at me thread", in which some people seem to object to you even looking at them in a public place , I wonder how it will be perceived posting (non-shaming) photos of others in this public forum?

When I unlocked an old account, a support case had to be opened (the email address I used for that account no longer existed) and the security question asked was which city I was born. I only provided that piece of information and the account was unlocked.

I regularly attend a few select events, which I believe still have quality products. There are not as many offerings for guys in events, so it is not a deluge of products that I have to sift through; therefore, not as big of a problem compared to what the ladies face.
