My block list is essentialyl empty, tbh. Like maybe 2 names on it right now? I am quick in blocking people but I usually just block someone for a day or two and then remove them again and move on.

Not sure if this is per say a scripting question - I guess though. I'm tring to find a relatively simple way (or an existing product?) to have my own bot log in on my own local server and do things like give out group invitations. So essentially what smartbots offers but on my own physical server in my office at home. So no more weekly payments to smartbots, yaay! 😄 Don't get me wrong, like any other professional creator in SL, I like smartbots and have relied on it for years and still do. But now I have my own little server and I am already successfully running bots via Radegast viewer on that server without paying a dollar or taking away from my PC's resources. So I figured, why not keep that running but make them somehow be able to give out group invitations, etc. - to actually do something, right?

A tiny little sad edit: I may or may not have gone a bit wild on prims on my main penthouse.😂😎 So I realized only today that including the spa and home cinema floor, I don't actually have enough prims for 2 roommates on top. Therefor the cinema and spa (I rarely ever used both anyway, tbh) had to go. So if you are seeing the above "ad", please subtract the spa and cinema features! It's still an awesome penthouse, though!

I am hoping to find one or two roommates for my beautiful skybox penthouse! Having prims left and up to two spare rooms to fill, I figured why not get some company! ✯ What's the deal - Please spend some time at home at least occasionally. I'm sure you'll understand that naturally I am seeking for an active roommate, not just someone rezzing a single bed in the room and then never to be seen again. 😞😂 - If you are looking to socialise sometimes (hang out for a chat, have a movie night, plan small summer parties together, etc. then you are the right fit! - I'm more the quiet type. While bringing a friend or two over once in a while is totally cool, having huge gatherings every evening is a bit too much for me, sorry. 😉 - The wallpaper color of your rented room can be changed to your liking. Oh! I think I caused some confusion using the word "Estate"! No native English speaker here, forgive me. My home isn't on an actual Estate-Estate. As in ground land on a sim connected to a larger region. I called it Blackwood Estate, so I went with the word Estate in the thread. Sorry!

Hi Sam! I appreciate your input! I don't feel like I am dictating what anyone has to do in their second life. I am just asking for the future roommate to just rez a bed and disappear for good (had that a few times now). Besides, with this thread I am (obviously ) looking for people who play SL the same way, so for them it wouldn't be dictating anything, I would think. And I would say that I am not neccessarily, per say, looking for friends with this thread - but of course it would be cool for the roommate situation to turn into a friendship on the way! Either way, I'll let you know how it works out.

Hello all you sunshines! 🌞 I am looking for 1-2 more roommates to live with me at my beautiful main home! Having plenty of prims left and two spare rooms to fill, I figured why not get some company! By the way I am in Europe - so ideally you are, too or at least frequently online during European day time. 🙂 Here is what you'll get and what I expect: - I'd expect you to actually be active, spend time at the home. You can make use of almost all its amenities (and there are plenty). I don't need just some dead weight rezzing a single bed in the room and then never to be seen again. 😞 - If you are looking to socialise, hang out, (light) roleplay together, go out together, have movie nights, small summer parties, karaoke, dances, etc. then you are the right fit! - I'm a rather private person, so I expect my roommate(s) to be discreet - what happens at home, stays at home. - Also I'm more of a quiet type. So while bringing a friend or two over sometimes is totally cool, bringing 10 friends over every night is kinda.. too much for me, to be honest. 😉 - I kindly ask to respect one thing: This is not a photo backdrop or a simple homepoint. I actually live here, I have private photos and stuff here, memories, etc. It is my actual home. Well, hon, for YOUR info: If you want to use the public forum to name shame someone (a nasty attitude in itself and quite pathetic), stay with the facts, can you? I did reply to you and told you that I never received your first 2 IMs as they must have gotten lost - a common thing in SL at the moment. I also told you that I was very busy working and couldn't communicate - and thus asked you to put them in a NC and send them again (so I could read them later and reply when I have time). You declined rudely, ignored my request and announced you'd just "spam" (not your exact words) me by sending them as IMs again, anyway. To which I simply temp-blocked you, as I told you I was busy. THAT is the real story you should stick to. It's a story of you being rude and ignoring when someone tells you they are busy. If someone doesn't want to talk to you, you should simply respect it and move on, rather than bringing it to a public forum in the most pathetic way.

I am hiring an affordable Interior Designer for my new penthouse on the Upper East Side in New Yor City. The skybox is the "Downtown" Loft from Onsu. Expected Style The desired style for the apartment and its balconies shall be somewhat (ultra)modern with a luxurious and classy, but clean touch. I dislike kitsch, too playful and too colorful things. I own a collection of precious and rare modern art paintings that I will place throughout the apartment. Thus the decoration should not distract too much. Most importantly, I want for the apartment to look "used" and not like a fake facade straight out of a magazine. I actually live here and I want for the apartment to reflect this. As I'm a Roleplayer, furniture (such as kitchen appliances, beds, couches, etc.) need to be functional and with decent animations. Ready for the next part of my ongoing life? Of course I wouldn't forget to update y'all! 🙂 I'm in a bad place. Because my virtual flight from Windhoek to Amsterdam was delayed, I missed my connection to New York JFK and had to sleep in the terminal. While kicking time in Amsterdam, I also decided to call my employer to-be and blew the job. She had continuously ignored important calls for days and kept ordering me in for online meetings on my vacation, which she then skipped without a notice. When I finally arived in New York City in the early morning, believe it or not, my luggage was missing. Completely frustrated of the events of the past few days and exhausted from the trip home, I took the next cab to my new apartment on the Upper East Side. As I got home I dropped my filthy clothes, took a quick shower and instantly fell asleep on my new bed. Because of the jetlag, I slept all day long, until early evening. That's when the flashbacks started. I kept thinking of the trip to Namibia with its terrible ending, the exhausting journey home and, of course, Vanessa. I couldn't think of anything else but Vanessa. In hopes of distracting myself, I started binge-watching old episodes of "King of Queens" while having one Whiskey after another. To be honest, I doze off more than I saw anything of the famous TV Show. I started questioning myself and whether the decision to return to SL had really been the right choice. Was that all worth it? Two weeks have gone by since I returned to SL and here I am again - right where I started. Should I leave SL? Stay? What should be my next adventure in SL? Perhaps you have suggestions! Hah! I bet you guys already thought, I was "Lost in Africa". Wrong! My adventurous "live story of my life" continues, once again: After I spent a few days exploring the mighty Savannah with a local tour guide, I decided to spend a fortune and fly in the one person I knew: A gorgeous woman, called Vanessa, whom I met at that my sandbox shelter. We've had a date or two before I left for my vacation. I missed Vanessa so badly, that I asked the Lodge's concierge to prepare a candle light dinner at the private beach, for when she arrives. Her flight was delayed for over six hours, but eventually she arrived at the Kidaka Lodge. For some reason, her mood was bad and almost instantly she broke off a fight. It ended up with me saying some stupid things, her saying some stupid things and then her suddenly "friendzoning" me and storming off, back to the cab, to return to the airport. I stood there stunned, heartbroken and devastated. I then went back to my tent in the bush, sat on one of the wooden chairs underneath a beautiful Acacia tree and cried for a good hour. Yes men cry, too. When I had collected myself again, I decided to pack my things and end my vacation early. I suddenly couldn't stand Africa anymore. Originally I was going to actually extend my vacation and spend another three days in Havanna, Cuba before returning home. In the meantime my lovely Personal Assistant, Estelle, would be finding an apartment for me and furnish it. As I had ended my vacation early and changed plans about Cuba, I needed to inform Estelle. So I called her from the airport in Windhoek to ensure that I had a home, once I landed in New York JFK. I miss you so much, Vanessa.
