  1. Also I just used Old World for a vegetable patch at my mainland and I really love it - have to admit I have not decorated any Newbrooke - if you will forgive non linden home you can see the temperate shrubs from skye and the hpmd in the second photo and the veggie patch in the first
  2. Also Fundati rocks can be tinted to look like the linden rocks
  3. I would say Studio Skye, HPMD, Heart and Felix landscaping and lots of content pack items from all of the themes. The log home ivy is particularly good as are the plants. Mind you it is one thing having these items but knowing what to do with them is another. I regularly break up Skye items to use in different ways - their realistic water can't be beaten.
  4. Or maybe it is this one? http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Canyon Ball Run/215/105/111
  5. I would like to know the highest peak - I am standing here and am sure this must be it or at least close to the highest http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Copper Kettle/250/251/108
  6. Between the mountains http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Whackamole/83/256/55
  7. Fox Falls behind Campwich - I could happily live in that cabin... http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sheldon/53/181/41
  8. My projects were all just fun things for engagement - which happened and so I see them as worthwhile but yes I can see they don't have broad appeal - I think in terms of having more land allowance to create a public space, really go to town on the design and creation - that would have been desirable to me but I guess, desirable to everyone. I've moved on a little from Bellisseria generally in my head and made my peace with not having a public space.
  9. I wanted to pitch weekly or monthly market area - for residents to pitch up at the same time, run a stall, chat, meet new people etc. I've run similar in other estates and people like it because they can make money, shop for new stuff, clean up their inventory, meet new people in the community and be a part of an event. Not a new SL idea! But reading your post and acknowledging that it is just another "shopping" angle put me off. Anytime I have run an attraction in Bellisseria like The Cabinet of Curiosities and the Houseboat Coffee Shop I have met new people and would have regulars popping by so now am not sure if I would run attempt something like that again...
  10. Lovely to see a Modern 512 come up @Eirynne Sieyes I got one myself but I am not feeling the inspiration for Linden Homes right now I am putting all mine back for a while. @Elena Core always the cutest designs I hope you get many visitors!
  11. I use a certain windlight called Toasty and then I use my favourite Flickr filter and add exposure so mainly done outside of SL
  12. You must use the linden houseboat - Pinterest is always a good source of inspiration but there are plenty of forumers here who have decorated boats - keep an eye on the linden home photo threads. For my own boat attempts follow link in signature
  13. I've seen traditional constantly on the LP since the latest release began so if I was trying this I would wait until the traditional disappears - because queues complicate things a bit
  14. I succeed 90% of the time I just added a little pensive to show I wasn't super proud of myself! When it goes wrong it is mainly because I have miscalculated tries and have run out on the account who wants to catch. One of the big things I would say is that I would rarely try this during a major theme release
  15. I can also send a DM if you want but I think Elena possibly covers it. I do what you are trying to do sometimes multiple times a day 😔
  16. Looking forward to seeing some 512 moderns - I got hold of the content pack and really happy with the chair /sofa /table, the planters and all of the peace lilies etc, Not keeping a modern though so am eager to see the designs others have done - edit : just having my first look around Newbank - the addition of wildlife (ducks, bunnies etc) really makes a positive difference would hope to see some more of that in a camper revisitation!
  17. And the madness begins - the options are on the LP
  18. That is the auction winner island I think? Some "winner" areas for me in earlier parts would be anything facing Light of Aurelia lighthouse, Bellisseria Bay views, Fourze lighthouse area or short range view of, or some boats up in the Esper and Sutherfield regions or homes around Washburn. But it is only because the nostalgia of watching all that unfold and being built. When I had a Light of Aurelia property and a Gangway boat they were building the island over the water...
  19. Alts to lead the bullying - that is the major problem for me. One person can be several personalities. Sorry to hear of your experience - apologies for slight de rail of the thread!!!
  20. Thanks - I moved on and got a boat so I can do underwater gardens - someone else has this spectacular view now - one of the best views in Bellisseria, (there are many though!)
  21. There is a great boot home made by the same creator as the burrow in the pictures - I lived in it for a short while - I thought if they ever do a range of fantasy super premium homes a choice of boot, baba yaga hut, hobbit house or Rapunzel style tower would be great! https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/CC-Babas-Boot/18036811
  22. Love underground homes - this is what I did with my last "burrow" somewhere off Linden Home turf...
  23. I do this too I think I was on a quest at one point for a community to join that was more focused than Bellisseria - I found some good ones and some ones which were not a good fit but then the one I thought was an excellent fit I was pushed out by means of bullying. I wish there was some way to deal with issues surrounding bullying in online communities it can be so subtle but easy to fall prey to and so damaging. In the end I realised it was better to focus more on my RL communities and accept the Bellisseria community is as it is. I've made some great friends through Linden Homes and I can't quite drop them altogether they are too much fun at the end of the day. Have a lovely piece of mainland too not sure what to do with it right now. With the world as it is I would rather claw back some of my £ and limit my virtual escape time. Keeping one Linden Home only.
  24. Merchant is Tara Paxlapis-Savior and link above drops you right in front of the vendors
  25. We received a message from the expo group this morning about a Ukraine based artist so if you want to support both causes there are some pretty items I got this one: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hope 8/166/55/23
